Part Number:TPS3808

Hi Team,

The datasheet shows the following about RESET delay time.

Does the value include CT capacitor tolerance?
If so, could you tell me CT capacitor tolerance about CT=100pF and CT=180nF?

UC3842: Can I use UC3842b with 1-phase rectified DC

Part Number:UC3842

I have built a non-isolated boost converter which should operate with 1-phase rectified DC as well as three phase rectified DC. I have validated the converter for three phase rectified DC and now I am trying to operate converter with 1-phase rectified DC, but when I am applying 1-phase rectified DC IGBT is getting damaged immediately. Is UC3842b compatible with 1-phase rectified DC (without filter capacitor)?

TPS65988: the GPIO0 is not driving high for expectation

Part Number:TPS65988

I got a PD FW from vendor however the GPIO0 is not driving high for expectation, the pin is only connected to Intel TBT RESET# for reset purpose. When I create a new project by myself the issue disappears, There are many settings different between my and vendors, but I am not sure what is the root cause? Are there any HW portions need to be noticed? Or it is a just FW settings issue?

Part Number:TPS5405

Hi Team

We design  a DC/DC module using TPS5405 and find output voltage drop down when the load current increase. we try to change frequency, inductor, and Comp, but there are on improvement.

we also use a wire to connect GND Pin and anode of D11.  it is the same result. Would you please give some advise ?

TLV1805-Q1: How the external protection parts work?

Part Number:TLV1805-Q1

Hello,

Would you please explain how the D4 Schottky between IN+ and IN- works? And in what situation? In the datasheet this is for an event like reverse supply, but I cannot understand what is the concern.

I would also like you to explain how the D6 Zener across the load works. I cannot understand how floating load can turn on the FET.

Thanks.

TPS2378: Voltage rating of Bob Smith Termination capacitor

Part Number:TPS2378

Dear Specialists,

My customer is considering POE input circuit and has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise?

---

I'm thinking about voltage rating of Bob Smith Terminination capacitor.

http://www.tij.co.jp/jp/lit/ug/slvu682/slvu682.pdf

According to this document, voltage rating of C5 - C8 is 100V.

I'd like to change to 50V from 100V.

When PoE power is supplied, a maximum of 57 V is applied as the voltage between TP 2 and TP 3.

Since the voltage is divided by the transformer, a voltage of 28.5 V is applied between C5 and C6.

is it correct ?

If so, I think there is no problem with 50V.

---

I appreciate your breat help.

Best regards,

Shinichi

Do you have reason why these 2 samples have difference mold compound ?

Also marking texture seem difference .

CC1200: The TOC_CFG.TOC_LIMIT setting on CC1200

$

Part Number:CC1200

Hello,

My customers are trying to change the parameter of TOC_CFG.TOC_LIMIT from 00 to 01.
To change the parameter, do they need to set the additional parameter?
Especially, we want to know the default settings of TOC_CFG.TOC_PRE_SYNC_BLOCKLEN and TOC_CFG.TOC_POST_SYNC_BLOCKLEN in case of changing TOC_CFG.TOC_LIMIT to 01.
And is there any bad influence by changing the parameter?

They are using CC1200 as a receiver.
Because the transmitter's reference clock source is a RC oscillator, the variation of frequency is very large.
As a result, in case TOC_CFG.TOC_LIMIT is 00, the receiver (CC1200) cannot receive the many packets.

Nomo

CC1200: The Bit Synchronization on CC1200

Part Number:CC1200

Hello,

Please let me confirm the following question.
All of these questions are related to 6.6 Bit Synchronization in user's guide.

1.What is the target of "Symbol Rate Offset Tolerance" in Table 19, a receiver side or a transmitter side?
Also, does the table show the condition to complete the bit synchronization?

2.What is "Required Preamble Length"?
Is this the preamble length to complete the bit synchronization in the receiver side?

3.What does mean "0.5 byte (only for gain adjustment)"?
Is only 0.5 byte needed to complete the bit synchronization and is there any additional re-synchronization?

Nomo

Part Number:DP83822IF

Hi all

Would you mind if we ask DP83822IF?

<Question1>
On the datasheet Electrical Characteristics, there is  PMD OUTPUTS VOD MDI 100BASE-TX.
We would like to confirm  test condtion of PMD OUTPUTS VOD MDI 100BASE-TX.
We assume followings;
-100 termination across differential output, measured differentially after 1:1 transformer
Is our recognition correct?

<Question2>
If you have compliance test result with DP83822EVM, could you share us it as reference data?

Kind regards,

PCM3070: Positive gain of Treble shelf reduces the Frequency Response

Part Number:PCM3070

Hi Team

We use PCM9211+PCM3070+TAS5548+TAS5631B to develop one active speaker. We have one issue need to be solved.

When we set the Bass shelf  gain from -3 to 3, the SPL vs FREQ curve is normal.   //[ void pcm3070_setbass(unsigned char sr, unsigned char b)]

Set the Treble shelf gain from -3 to 0, it also ok, but when set 0 to 3, the SPL vs FREQ curve reduce. // [void pcm3070_settreble(unsigned char sr, unsigned char t)]

Then we use PCM3070EVM to set these and connect our power amplifier, All are normal.

Any other need to set to  solve it when we use MCU to set the trebel gain ? Attachment  for your reference.

we can send the pfw file and C file to you if need .
