Hi,

As per my requirement(IICD), if i want to use SPI, EMIF and UART interface together, then the PIN MUX files show the conflicts for the pinmux balls.

Does it mean that i can not use all the interface at a time?, If not then what is the way to change the PIN MUX configurations?

How to make this three work together as far as pinmux is considered?

Please help me to deal with this case.

I'm using LAUNCHXL-F28379D board with ccs examples and at the first time after installing ccs and control suite and c2000ware softwares, when i open each different examples, i have some errors like make error, unresolved error, make: *** No rule to make target `clean'. Stop. adc_soc_epwm_cpu01 C/C++ Problem ,...

It's so trouble for me and after many searches during previous week, the solution is nothing yet.

Can anyone describe for me the problem and resolve them please?

Hi, 

Firstly thanks for taking the time to read my post. I had just bought the ADS198ECH-FE EVA kit and had successfully gotten some good EMG results. However currently, I am getting a lot of random noises in my waveforms. I tried resetting the software settings and acquiring data with all the inputs shorted. I was supposed to get signals in a straight line with no waveforms but instead got the signal below, which shows a lot of random noises. Furthermore, the FFT analysis seems to show that the CMRR is infinite for some channels, which is really wrong. I suspect there is a malfunction on my device. Can you please help me check what the problem may be? Thanks once again.

What can be the reason of the following behavior:

While loading u-boot over spi, processor loads couple of 512-byte pages and stops loading?

My bin file looks OK at first sight: it has header with file length (0x0000C0F8), load address (0x40300000)

and byte order opposite to nand version:

BQ25703A: Can't read 0x28/29 ADCIBAT() data

I used BQ25703A EVM set charging voltage and charging current to let battery charging,

I can measure charging current bu current probe, but I used TI GUI to read BQ25703A 0x28/0x29 data always is 0,

this register should can show charging current, right? or need set other register before I read it?

Are there any?

DRV8881: Peak current and SOA

What is the peak current of DRV8881?
Or can you provide SOA data for internal FET?

Our customer are looking for a device that will not break when the output is short-circuited, and will have a protection operation.
This device has an OCP but OCP has a deglitching time of 2μs.
I would like to judge how much peak current can flow before OCP is applied.

Hello, I want to make a simple private protocol packet capturing tool for cc2640r2f. The basic idea is that the serial port receives the content received by RF. I follow the example in nortos mode. When RF receiving function and serial port function are turned on at the same time. Obviously feel the interference of serial port function to RF function. Want to ask cc2640r2f how to configure UART DMA function thank you!

My customer found TLE4275QKTTRQ1 gets oscillating on their prototype board.

Attached is the test circuitry they made for evaluation.

Q.1) Pleas check attached material. (Highest priority)

It looks nothing wrong in setup.

Can you provide measurement result on your Lab with same configuration?

Q.2) Figure 16 in datasheet (Revised November 2014)

I suppose title of X-axis is Load current not Load Capacitance. Could you correct this?

Also, please provide information about Input/output capacitor of this figure?

Q.3) Figure 17 in datasheet (Revised November 2014)

I suppose title of X-axis is Input Capacitance not Load Capacitance. Could you check it?

CCS/CC2642R: the TX power of slave

Hi,

I am using CC2642 and V3.2 SDK  to develop AOA. Now I find that when the slave and passive is more than 1meter, the RSSI value is always near the same, about 0xa4~ 0xb9.  when I move the slave to even 5 meter away or even farther, the value is still this area. I think maybe the tx power is to small. so I check the TX power of slave , as following

 .txPower = GAP_ADV_TX_POWER_NO_PREFERENCE  (127)

I also try to change the value to 10, but the RSSI area is the same. I am not sure whether the RSSI area is normal or not. if the Tx power matters ,how to change it? and if not, what else can I do? thank you

My customer is developing an electronic water meter based on MR reluctance elements.

They learned from the Internet that TI has a magnetoresistance solution chip MSP430FR6989, which can use magnetoresistance measurement to provide hardware support for electrical signal sampling of magnetoresistance output.

They wanted to know if it would be feasible to develop an electronic water meter based on MR reluctance elements using the MSP430FR6989 scheme. Their water meter USES LCD display and lorawan for wireless data transmission. Thanks.

NE5534A: Bias current changes

Hi All,

We have a problem with DC offset in one of our products, related to the input bias current of the NE5534's that we're using. The issue wasn't present when the product was designed, and it's been in production since about 2006. Unfortunately we don't really know when the issue started to arise, as it's not something we test for routinely in production.

I should stress that the parts we're buying now seem to be within spec, but I suspect that when the product was originally designed either the parts where beating bias-current spec by some margin, or another offset factor was cancelling the effect that we're seeing today.

So my question is, has there been any change in the design or manufacturing process of the NE5534 in the last 10 years or so that might have affected these parameters?

I think the truth is that we may have changed supplier at some point, but I'd like to be able to rule out a change in TI's parts.

On the datasheet, it says that "The SM320C6748-HIREL fixed- and floating-point DSP is a low-power applications processor based on a C674x DSP core. This DSP provides significantly lower power than other members of the TMS320C6000™ platform of DSPs."

It's great news! But I didn't find more information about this processor.

What is the manufacture process of this processor? 65 nm?

Is there any datasheet that can tell me the power dissipation of the processor? Just like the <C67484642 power consumption summary.pdf> or the <C6748_46_42_PowerSpreadsheet_RevD.xls>.

So that I can evaluate whether it is worth of replacing TMS320C6748 with SM320C6748 on my product.

TPS65261-1: V7V pin of TPS65261-1 is not output.

Hi team.

Customers will use TPS65261 under the following conditions:

 PVINx = 5V

 Vout1 = 1.1V , Iout1 = 0.28A

 Vout2 = 1.5V , Iout2 = 0.52A

 Vout3 = 1.0V , Iout3 = 1.25A

The customer wants to control the sequence of this IC with the following configuration

But V7V was not output in this configuration.

If the connection was changed as follows, it worked as expected.

I want to know why V7V is not output when configuration of figure1.
