[TDA4M] Test Description of UDMA datasheet

$

Hello.

I'm sorry, I would ask a question.

The performance data for DRU and normal UDMA channel is part of SDK documentation "psdk_rtos_auto/docs/user_guide/DATASHEET.html#datasheet_udma". Right?

In document, I checked several "Test Description" such as 1CH DDR 1MB to DDR 1MB, 1CH MSMC 1KB Circular to DDR 1MB and so on.

Does 1CH DDR mean DMA channel or physical channel of DDR ?

Best regards

Yongsig.

Part Number: TXS0104E

Dear Sirs or Madams,

Will the internal pullup on PortA/B be disabled when OE pin is set to Low?

In other words, for example, when 1.8V power is supplied on VCCA pin but OE pin is set to Low,

A1-A4 pins are NOT pulled up to 1.8V and are just high-impedance state?

Part Number: TPS23751

Hi,

Could you tell me about CS pin.
The recommended circuit in the data sheet is as follows.

However, the EVM circuit is different.
CS pin is pulled up to VDD.

1.Which is the correct connection method, EVM or the recommended circuit of the data sheet?

2.What is the meaning of the R16 resistor installed on the EVM circuit?
I want to know how to set the CS pin correctly.
Could you tell me how to connect the CS pin and determine the resistor value?

Best regards
Yusuke

BQ51050B: disable the charger

Part Number: BQ51050B

I want to momentarily disable the charger so I can have my fuel gauge chip estimate the battery state of charge.  I need to keep the current low so I was looking at using TERM_EN2 as a way to point the charger to a wired source which I do not have and thus the charger would quit.  However I the AD input grounded so I do not think this would work.

I think grounding TERM would work but I am not sure.  Since the data sheet says

Hi team,

I received following question  from my customer. Could you support the question below?

Is the total error of the DAC43608 offset error + Gain error + INL + DNL ? Or is there another specification as total error?

Dear Sir,

We are using UCC28711 IC in one of our Product having following specification.

Input Voltage : 400 to 750VDC

Output Voltage : 110V @ 1A

Topology : Flyback

NTC Pin kept open.

Currently we are facing issue at side of random reset of power supply due to noise and we want to know that if NTC pin is open is there any chanse to reset operation of UCC28711 IC?

Is there any recommendation circuit  for NTC pin to increase  noise immunity ?? currently  have kept it open.

Part Number: TMS320C5545

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi I'm using C5545 on my board.

And I'm using programmer project in C55_csl_3.08 version.

But It is not working well.

and in ReadMe file I read this one

The attached utility is intended to run on C5517 EVM, C5515 EVM or VC5505EVM using an JTAG emulator with CCS.
Change the compiler option in src\programmer.c "#define C5517_EVM", "#define C5515_EVM" or "#define VC5505_EVM" for
desired platform. The default setting is for C5517 EVM.

It could be used for C5545?

Also I'm using CCS9 , but the example folder name is ccs_v6_x_examples.

It could be working??

I already set Hex utillity " --boot --mcbsp8 --silicon_version=5505 --binary "

and made bin file.

but It is not working. please give me some detail...

Thank you for the reading

Part Number: LM3409

Hi,

Part Number: DS90UB948-Q1

As per the Deserializer datasheet section 9, PLL section is very sensitive and need external filter circuit for clean power supply.

So the customer planned to use an external filter circuit for PLL power supply in our design. But they could not find any details about which power pins are connected to PLL section.

Could you please communicate this query to your technical expert and let us know which power pins are connected to PLL section??

DP83867IR: 1000Base-T IEEE802.3 Ethernet Compliance Test failed

Part Number: DP83867IR

Hi,

Our customer are using DP83867IR on their development board and
having an issue during IEEE 802.3 Ethernet Compliance test of 1000Base-T.

The test are failing at following section:
[1000 Base-T, Difference A,B Peak Output Voltage(w/ Disturbing Signal)]
[1000 Base-T, Point F Template Test(w/ Disturbing Signal)]
[1000 Base-T, Point H Template Test(w/ Disturbing Signal)]

Please take a look at attached file for the details.

(Please visit the site to view this file)

On the customer board, they are using RJ45 which magnetic's each center tap were
decoupled to the GND via 0.1uF independently.
And we check the schematics but it seem there no problem.
Also, we are following to the application report
"How to Configure DP838xx for Ethernet Compliance Testing",but it's failing.

We are searching for the cause of the failures, but we are stuck and no workaround are found yet.

What kind of problem can be considered against these test failure?
And what should we check to solve this test failure? Any advise will be helpful.
If possible, could you please check the customer's layout and schematics to find the issue?

This issue is similar to the following E2E thread.
e2e.ti.com/.../809921
In this thread, it was solved by updating the version of oscilloscope.
But we tested by using several different supplier's oscilloscope but it still fails.
So, it seems it's not oscilloscope problem.

g.f.

TPS62740: Excess current if VOUT is close to VIN

Part Number: TPS62740

Dear TI-Team,

we're basically ready for production but there's something strange with TPS62740 in two different designs. In both designs the TPS62740 works isolated (no other loads, no other ICs connected to the rails).

VOUT is 3V3.

Everything is fine for VIN >= 3.55V: about 400nA

But below that, we can see 5.8uA (sometimes even 12uA) current drawn.

What is happening here?

Here's the schematic:

And a screenshot of one design:

PG and LOAD are not connected during test. VSELX are high

BQ27750: FET OFF time and Delay time

$

Part Number: BQ27750

Hi

My customer has an issue with BQ27750.

They are using the push button switch for startup and shutdown control as below,

 (Switch control)

  Push switch > System startup

Push switch under a few sec (that is monitored by MCU) > Send shutdown command from MCU

(Issue)

Customer try to push the switch for startup Immediately after shutdown. (If they wait long time after shutdown, it is no problem.)

System is powered up between pushed switch, however, the system goes down when the switch is released.

(Questions)

1. Can they set 0 sec for both FET OFF time and Delay time?

Datasheet description: Delay time must set longer than FET OFF time.

2. Does the device need some interval time from shutdown?

Also, do you have any idea for the reason of this issue?

Thanks

Muk

I am designing a monochrome (UV 405nm) pattern projector using DMD. For me efficiency is not a concern, I just need around 85% uniformity. If I don't use any light homogenizer and shape the beam profile using cylindrical lenses will it work?

system using series of cylindrical lenses as shown in image below.

I am getting a uniformity at DMD as shown in image below, a standard deviation of 0.099

max power:-0.026 w/mm2

min power:-0.034 w/mm2

avg power:-  0.031 w/mm2

Can I proceed with this design for prototype evaluation??

Hi Sir ,

Our design battery package , use the BQ20z655-R1 and 2P4S 18650 construction . Our design capacity is 5200mAh.

When the battery package is new  ,the Qmax and FCC value about 5180mAh.

But when  charge and discharge about 50 cycle , the battery package Qmax and FCC value change to about 3600mAh.

I don't know what happen? Clould you give me some advice for find the root cause?

Attach the SBS picture and some *.gg file for you review.

AMC1300: Using AMC1300 for EMC compliance

Part Number: AMC1300

I have a design that has digital and analog inputs (shunts) to MCU and it must qualify ESD (8kV),EFT(4kV) and Surge(4kV) tests. I came across a link  http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slyt725/slyt725.pdf

I have chosen AMC1300 for Analog and ISO 7710 for digital inputs.  I need confirmation, whether with these devices alone,  can I can qualify my design and not use any TVS or MOVs? Any reference design with EMC tests with these devices would be helpful

Part Number: TMS320F28035

Dear all,

I am using tms320f28035 and dealing with CLA processor

I have set the register to make CLA processor synchronized to ePWM timer base module.

i have programmed in the way that CLA processor should run at the point that the counter of ePWM1 is matched to '0',

i have set for '0' compare match interrupt to be generated on every 100 us so task1 ISR of CLA should operate on every 100 us

to see the time period whether the instruction in CLA task1 ISR is executed on every 100 us, I have written codes as below.

__interrupt void Cla1Task1 ( void )

{

    GpioDataRegs.GPATOGGLE.bit.GPIO2 = 1;
    __mdebugstop();

    fResult = fVal;

    if(fResult == 56000.0f)

    fResult = 0.0f;
}

I have expected the GpioDataRegs set would show me the square wave of '100 us of high state and then 100 us of low state' but any signal isn't generated on GPIO2 pin than signal 'low'

could you guys give me any help?

kind regard.

Part Number: SN74AVC2T45

One of my customer is  using 74AVC2T45 for level converting 3.3V signal to 1.8V.

The Rise and Fall time of the Input Signal is about 18mS. Can you please let me know if this device will be happy with that? The recommended Input Rise Fall time looks to be very fast 5nS/V for 0.8 to 3.6V transition !
