Hello to all,
My request is for some comments and suggestions about “which of the Bluetooth modules” and
“the assocaited development system” should I be using to develop the Bluetooth communications between
my customer’s system and an iPhone or iPad or iPadmini. I believe that I should focus on the Bluetooth low energy
modules because it is easier to create an APP that Apple will allow on the iStore.
The customer wants to reprogram his system in the field by use of iPhone/iPad. When reprogramming,
the system will be 10 to 20 feet away from my customer who will be holding his iPhone or iPad.
This process is expected to take only a few minutes but may be repeated within an hour or two.
My customer has wanted me to use the MSP430 microcontroller for updating his system with a new
printed circuit board. It’s early in this project, so I want to get some indication as to how to design-in the
Bluetooth module; what is its size, and electrical current needs, etc.
Please provide references, hyperlinks, distributors and other resources that might help me, as soon
as possible.
