Can I use C-Spy Debugger on CC2531 Dongle without SmartRF05 EB connected to the Dongle?

I have set up the CC2531USB Dongle as a coordinator using the GenericApp CoordinatorUSB Sample. I'm not sure if I phrased this question properly but:

Can I use C-Spy Debugger on CC2531 Dongle without SmartRF EB connected to the Dongle?
