CC1352P: collector automatically disconnecting paired sensors

Hi,

I am working on CC1352P and CC1352R launchpads using collector and sensor example codes in TI15.4 stack (SUB 1 GHz). I am facing the following problems in collector device.

1. Collector is automatically disconnecting it paired sensors after some time

2. Collector is sometime gets restarted by calling mainAssertHAndler function.

What could be the possible reasons for the above problems and how could i resolve these issues in collector.

Note: sensors are sending data w.r.t reporting time to collector until disconnect from collector. And after disconnect/restart happened if we reset the collector device sensors are rejoined and again sending data to collector.

 


CCS/SIMPLELINK-CC26X2-SDK: Newer version available in CCS Resource Explorer but how to get it?

I see "Newer version available, go to Home Page to select version" but I don't know where is Home Page and what to do in CCS to get update of newer version. Does anyone know how to do this?

Regarding TMUX1208, is there a charge pump circuit device inside.

I think there is not charge pump inside, but I'd like to confirm just in case.

Because we are considering this multiplexer for switching RF signal path,

I am concerned about the influence of the spurs derived from the charge pump.

VCC is a Buck –Boost TPS63050RMWR that is disabled.

TCA9509: When disconnect the power supply separately

Hello,

Our customer use the TCA9509 with VCCA=1.8V, VCCB=5V.

When the customer disconnect the VCCA, a voltage remain 0.5V at VCCA, SCLA and SDAA pin.

What is the cause of this behavior?

Is that correct operation?

Of cause, there is no termination resistor at A side.

Hi,

Although it can be written in the API Firmware version of 01.00.07.00 on the target board equipped with F28035,
the following error occurred in 01.00.09.00, causing a problem that can not be written.

ERROR 70: DSP CLK frequency error

Because there is a problem in the environment of my customer, the following environment is used to compare
the operation due to the difference of Firmware version.

· TMDSDOCK28035
· C2000-GANG (API Firmware version 01.00.07.00 and 01.00.09.00)
· Convert out file of Example_ 28035_Flash to hex file and use it

Write once to the device, and then write it several times with the GO (F9) button.
At that time, the device is turned on.

1) In the case of 01.00.07.00
It is possible to write with GO (F9) button.

2) In the case of 01.00.09.00
The first it is possible to write.
"ERROR 70" occurs after the second time and it can not be written.

[Question]
Does Firmware of 01.00.09.00 have any changes to F2803x?

AWR1642: RED frame on AWR1642 Occupant Detection Demo

My customer is using TI's occupant detection demo by AWR1642  BOOST,

In customer's field demo, they can observe one target like the  attached right picture but not display 'RED frame'.

They want to display RED frame,

So Would you let me me know the below questions?

Q1;Would you inform  the condition of the  red frame on the attached file (in the right picture)?'

Q2: Can I adjust the threshold of  the condition of RED frame?,How do I  to realize it?

Q3:Can I add more RED frames?

I am using the UCC28070 spice model for the simulation. However, there are some foot pin name is different from actual one. Can you help to clarify how to connect for F_KHZ, IRIPA and IRIPB? Is there any external circuit needed to add? Please help to suggest the connection if you have. E.g. two controllers interleaved connection. Thanks.

TMP464: trace between transistor and TMP464

Hello,

There is a layout example in figure 24 of datasheet. I would like to ask about D- connection point.

The distance between transistors and TMP464 is around 10cm. We would like to connect 4 cathode connection point around the D- pin.

If we do so, is it affect the measurement accuracy?

If no issue, is it ok to follow figure 23, pair D+ and D- and guard by GND and V+?

INA169: Output of INA169 for higher VCM application

Hi support team,

I asked a question before regarding using INA169 in higher Vcm application (http://e2e.ti.com/support/amplifiers/f/14/p/731784/2701577#2701577)

My customer has one follow up question, using this configuration the output of INA169 will have a DC offset because it is standing on a floating ground, so how should they feed this signal into ADC pin of MCU? Do they need to implement another differential amplifier to get rid-off the DC offset on top of INA169 output?

Would you please suggest any reference circuit.

LM5141: Duty cycle limitation and Max current

1. can you provide max duty cycle of LM5141: Data sheet doesnt say but in website it say 99% and but in webench design it is limted to 85%. Can you provide exact information?

2. What is max current LM5141 can be controlled? In website says 20A. But webench design limited to 10A.

CC1352P: How does "Matched Filter Balun" (swra629) work with CC1352P?

Hi CC Team,

I just stumbled across the document "Matched Filter Balun for CC1352 and CC1352P" which describes a new Integrated Passive Component (IPC) which is said to be available (or at least coming) from Johanson Technology and Murata. As a current user of other Johanson Technology integrated baluns for several other CC family processors, we are obviously keen to evaluate. 

I have some questions regarding the document:

  • The reference designs look excellent for use of the IPC with the CC1352R. However, despite the document saying "The CC1352 IPC can be used for both CC1352R and CC1352P" it is not obvious how the extra high power PA port on the CC1352P would be connected. The IPC only shows two RF "channels". 
  • Unfortunately there is not yet any information for the new IPC on either JTI's or Murata's websites. Can you provide Part Numbers or other reference or contact info I can use to track down prototype and production parts?

AM3352: ADC detection ability

We use 7 ADC channels  in our platform, and the sample rate of channel 0 need for every 15 microseconds. The channel 0 sample period need 3.5 milliseconds (231 sample). (Total sample counts is 66 for 1 millisecond).

Other channels (channel 1 to channel 6) for every 50 milliseconds to get one sample.

How could we implement these by one-shot mode or continuous mode?

When we use one-shot mode, it seen need about 100 microseconds to get one sample value. Do any suggestion to speed up the detection?

The one-shot mode we use the follow code.

CC2538: OTA using CC2538 ZNP

I am using Z-Stack linux gateway and i need to do OTA of my router devices using Linux Gateway.

So here my ZNP is running on CC2538 and my router are also CC2538 based devices.

Here i was able to figure out the OTA generation for router using the OTA document provided. Now I need to build OTA for ZNP, can any one help me with this?

I measured Charge current that is 1.3A.

what should i do for solution?

*Condition

Battery's maxim voltage is 13.05V

Vin = 15V

So I set that

V bat =13.02V

Vset1= 0.4V( Max fast charge is 2A)

Vset2= 0.6V( Precharge and termination current is 0.6A

Vacset=1.6V(Rac=0.2ohm, Iacset=4A)

TMP464: transistor difference between TMP461 and TMP464

In 8 Application and Implementation, below transistors are recommended.

TMP461: 2N3904 (NPN) or 2N3906 (PNP)

TMP464: MMBT3904 (NPN) or a MMBT3906 (PNP)

Is there any difference between them?

Are they N-factor 1.008? If yes, is it ok we can get the datasheet accuracy without any register write?
