Hello Sir
Can you explain how to test a four pin mosfet (like part no C3M0065100K) with the help of Digital multimeter ?
In what cases ,the mosfet may get damage or pins get shorted ?
Thanks and regards

Hi,
The customer said he understood DC protection of TPA3221.
He thinks that there is not problem if trouble in output bridge is within only one FET even if it is broken in short mode, because the other FETs become Hi-z by the DC protection.
He asks how about the protection of a case multiple FETs in output bridge are broken in short mode.
I think consumer devices like audio are designed without considering multiple failure, in general.

Dear Ramesh,
Thank you for your review.
Let us clarify this issue for me.
Do you mean that, by using the function Sdfm_configureExternalreset(), this project has activated the SDFM filter synchronization through the PWM11 or PWM12 synco signals?
It is stated in the file of IDDK_PM_ServoMF2837x.c as follows:
//PWM11.CMPC, PWM11.CMPD, PWM12.CMPC and PWM12.CMPD signals cannot synchronize the filters. This option is not being used in this example.
Sdfm_configureExternalreset(1,FILTER_1_EXT_RESET_ENABLE, FILTER_2_EXT_RESET_ENABLE, FILTER_3_EXT_RESET_ENABLE, FILTER_4_EXT_RESET_ENABLE);
Thank you for your guidance.

Hello TI Forum,
I need some help interacting with my DLP 4500 EVM from an external program; Either LabView or something similar, as I can't change the light patterns quickly enough in LightCrafter. I intend to write commands via the USB and have attempted communication via NI-VISA and libusb-1.0, wrapped with python, but am completely stymied with errors, communication issues, and lack of detection with both methods. I have seen on the forums that TI doesn't necessarily suppport LabView for programming their devices, but I have never seen a good recommendation for a software library that I could use to communicate with the device. I have also read through the command structure for the DLP communications in the programming guide, but I've no idea how to implement these commands, because i cant connect with an endpoint. I also don't understand how the programmers guide never mentions the word "endpoint", when to my understanding all USB commands are passed through endpoints (bulk, control, or isochronous, also unmentioned in the programmers guide). I have seen previous examples of external programs changing the light output, in research papers and others, but there seems to be a lack of documentation for how to do something like this.
My end goal is to communicate with the DLP in Labview, where our other system equipment is controlled. I can call a python script from labview so that could work, but I just cant figure out a way to send or receive commands outside of lightcrafter. I would appreciate any and all insight. I am running a windows 10, 64-bit OS. I have run the DLP with the default USB Device driver and with the NI-VISA driver, neither works for communication.
The closest I've gotten to successful communication is reading the DLP endpoints through PyUSB with the LibUSB-1.0 backend. I can read device specs and navigate to endpoints but get errors on every attempt to read or write. See below. Also have tried VISA communication on Windows 7 OS and have tried pyUSB communication with MacOS. Trying to cover all of my bases.

Hello,
I am using an image sensor( 12 bit parallel CSI interface) connecting with the DS90UB925Q ->LVDS connection ->DS90UB926Q, then to the NXP i.MX6Q processor, my configuration of the serdes is set as below:
static const serdes_register_map DESERIALIZER_INITIAL_CONFIG = {
{ 2, 0xa },
{ 3, 0xe9 }, // Strobed on rising clock edge, filter off
{ 5, 0x9e },
{ 38, 0x19 }, // SCL high time for 400 kHz
{ 39, 0x19 }, // SCL low time for 400 kHz
{ 41, 0x83 } // VS, HS, all FRC* off
};
static const serdes_register_map SERIALIZER_REGISTER_CONFIG = {
{ 3, 0xc3 }, // Strobed on rising clock edge, filter off
{ 4, 0x8a },
{ 18, 0xc }, // 18-bit interface
{ 24, 0x20 }, // SCL high time for 400 kHz
{ 25, 0x20 }, // SCL low time for 400 kHz
{ 13, 0xa5 }, // GPIO0 = TOF CC reset
{ 14, 0x55 }, // GPIO1 = TOF CC trigger, GPIO2 = LDEN
{ 15, 0x00 },
{ 16, 0x00 }
};
static const serdes_register_map DESERIALIZER_GPIO_CONFIG = {
{ 29, 0xa3 }, // GPIO0 = TOF CC reset
{ 30, 0x33 }, // GPIO1 = TOF CC trigger, GPIO2 = LDEN
{ 31, 0x00 }
};
so far I can get the deserialzer's I2C address, but cannot get the address of the serialzer and image sensor. Seems the deserializer did not work, so do you know what is going on? or should I configure any other pin else? the circuits are as below:
in this deserialier picture, the micro processor is connecting to the top left, failed to read the address of serializer and sensor through the RIN+ RIN-
could anyone here help me on get my mircoprocessor to read the sensor information through the serdes?
Regards
Robert

Hi,
I'm testing the WoR power consumption and use rfWakeOnRadioRx_CC1312R1_LAUNCHXL_tirtos_ccs project for my testing.
I found that the current peak time seems has close to far cycle, not always per half second.
Please check the attached picture.
Does it is normal or abnormal?
Thanks.

Hi Sir
We have a requirement for AC24V to 50V PFC and PWM will use UCC2897A 24Vout 100W schematic for POE 802.3Bt application
1. May I know PFC solution UCC28180 is the best ?
2. Input need to support AC24V and DC48V for one only power jack ,could PFC circuit support that?
3. PF need to support 0.99 (Necessary)
4. Previously ,end customer use L4981 to do (Now ST suggest to use L4984)
5. Does TI have any similar reference design schematic ?
Please help to suggest

Hi
I design a circuit of DS90UB902 chip to decode the LVDS signal from the camera!
I select the camera mode which set the remote DS901 M/s = L; PDB = H; Res = L,
The DS90UB902 configure is M/s = H; PDB = H, Res = L, Bisten = L
and when set the weaken up signal to 901
Then the status register of 0x1C is 0x02, Which the Lock is L
I do not know why

Hi,
There is description of TRAINNIG_LANE0_1_SET2 register(0010F) In datasheet.
About OUT0/1, those choices are all level 0.
Is this description is correct?
Why is this all level 0?

Hi,
I wants to use AM57x McASP in 4ch (use two serial data line) transmit at 384kHz/I2S Mode. Is it possible?
MCASPx_AXR[n ] --> I2S 384kHz Stereo
MCASPx_AXR[n+1] --> I2S 384kHz Stereo
I know AM57x Technical Reference Manual says below,
24.6.2.2.1 Protocols Supported
NOTE:
In I2S mode, the transmit and receive sections can support simultaneous transfers on up to
all serial data pins operating as 192 kHz stereo channels.
But, I don't use all serial data pins.

Hello,
We purchased the DesignDRIVE Development Kit IDDK v2.2.1 and I have a few questions on the IDDK_PM_Servo_F2837x project.
It is stated in the file of IDDK_PM_Servo_F2837x-Settings.h as follows:
// ************************************************************************
// Scaling factors to bring all current feedbacks to normal scale
// matching with shunt based measurement
// With shunt, 1.0pu current == 9.945A
// LEM, 1.0pu current == 12A
// SDFM, 0.8906pu current == 12.5A
// ************************************************************************
I cannot figure out what the comments listed above implies.
(1) What is the 1.0pu current for the shunt and LEM based measurement? What does it mean?
(2) Why is the 0.8906pu current used for the SDFM based measurement, instead of the 1.0pu current?
(2) Where does the value of 9.945A come from for the shunt based measurement?
(3) Where does the value of 12A come from for the LEM based measurement?
(4) Where does the value of 12.5A come from for the SDFM based measurement?
Thank you for your guidance.

Part Number:AWR1642BOOST
Hi,
We are using AWR1642 with short range configuration.we want to attempt slight modification to clustering algorithm.
we want to form clusters even if the detected object has two points in USRR (current code configuration has 3 min points for USRR,1 min point for SRR subframe)
we want to change below portion of code in dss_main.c file MmwDemo_populateUSRR() function
"obj->dbScanInstance.minPointsInCluster = 3;"
to
"obj->dbScanInstance.minPointsInCluster = 2;"
Does it affect any further stages of processing and any additional changes needed in clustering algorithm.
TIA.
