Hello,
I am using the TLV320AIC3104 Evaluation Module and USB Motherboard, I cannot make it work. When I connect the board to the pc using a usb cable (after installing USB-MODEVM drivers) it is recognized as a usb audio card.
When I try to play a sound using this audio card I cannot heard anything using headset or speaker.
If I try to use its configuration software TLV320AIC310xEVM-K Graphical User Interface (GUI) I always get “Connect USB” although it is connected.
All jumpers are in their factory default conditions.
I don’t kwon why I can’t heard anything. There is some way to check the TLV320AIC3104 is working correctly?
Why could these problems be happening? It seems the usb-modevm board is working correctly but TLV320AIC3104 doesn’t it.
Best regards.

Hello,
I have read the sprac36b.pdf and want to do the "EMIF Tools - Register Configuration".
Why I cannot change on scheet one Leveling Techniquie? It is defualt H/W and I can only choose H/W.
Only with the setting "Leveling Techniquie = S/W" it is possible on the next scheet to do changes.
What about Leveling Technique? I can find nothing about that in the datasheet.
The Softwareversion of the sheet is "march 29th 2018 / 2.0.1"
Best Regards

Support,
There are 2x 22uF capacitors shown on the schematic. C331 and C341. I have been unable to find 22uF ceramics that are 500mohm*uF which is where I am trying to keep all of the larger capacitors. What is the minimum size that these parts can be? The parts currently shown on the eval board are likely 50Mohm*uF (I don’t fully trust the insulation res spec on Murata’s website as I often see numbers that are clearly wrong) so that would be a leakage of 1.06uA @ 12V instead of 106nA @ 12V. Keeping 22uF on the 1.8V is slightly less of an issue than the 3.3V.
Regards,
Marc

I am using the Example_280xAdcSeq_ovdTest code for the moment,
When ever the code reaches the asm(" ESTOP0"); and I peek at the SampleTable array I only see the results of 4095 have been added, To my knowledge this means that the Voltage is above 3.3 volts at the A1 pin, But when I got a voltmeter out it read as 2.59.
Now I know that the ADC is 12 bits wide and all of them are set and that's why I'm getting 4095, Now is there another reason as to why I could be getting 4095 other then the voltage being high?

I am having some difficulty reprogramming the bq40z50-R1 using bqStudio 1.3.54.1. When I attempt to download a .gg.csv file from my data storage andwrite it to the data flash, it shows up correct, but then when I read the data flash the old values show back up. At first I thought that maybe it was because the pack was sealed, so I entered the unseal commands via the Manufacturer Access command on the Registers page before I wrote the .gg.csv file to the DF, but I still got the "old" file back when I read the DF.
What steps am I missing here?

Hello everyone,
I am having some troubles with Energy Trace+ (XDS110-ADD-ON)
the message I am getting is the following:
CORTEX_M4_0: JTAG Communication Error: (Error -261 @ 0x0) Invalid response was received from the XDS110. (Emulation package 7.0.188.0)
CORTEX_M4_0: Failed to remove the debug state from the target before disconnecting. There may still be breakpoint op-codes embedded in program memory. It is recommended that you reset the emulator before you connect and reload your program before you continue debugging
This happens in the main Blinky as well as in the project that I am working with.
Without the Extension EnergyTrace works fine

Hi,
I have designed a board with Beaglebone Black as a close reference.
CPU: AM3352BZCZA80
RAM: ISSI IS43TR16256AL-125KBL (DDR3L, datasheet)
PMIC: TPS65217D
JTAG: XDS200
Code Composer Studio v8.2
The issue is that I can not talk to the RAM and thus cannot run DDR3_slave_ratio_search_auto.out to find optimal parameters.
I have tested three boards so far, and on two of them I can't talk to RAM at all as it seems, I can not get a value to stick in the RAM when updating an address in the memory browser.
On one board there is random toggling of random addresses between 0x00000000 and 0x00FF00FF.
Here is a GIF showing the memory browser at 0x80000000 and forward with the toggling issue:
I've tried with both 303 MHz and 400 MHz speeds to the RAM.
Attached is my updated GEL with values for 400 MHz clock. Also attached is an Excel-file with the lengths in mil of all DDR3 signals.
I have read the wiki a lot and even tried using the GEL from BBB (with my timing values) but with no luck. Running the GEL on an actual BBB works, of course.
VDDS_DDR is steady at 1.354V and DDR_VREF is at 0.678V.
I would appreciate if I could get some help or ideas. It would be nice to get a second opition on my timing values, so I now they are ok.
Thanks in advance!

Dear Sirs:
In my system, the ECG_CFG.EXT_CLOCK_FREQ defaults to 64. Does this mean the 40 Mhz ext clock is divided by 64 before being used?
Thanks,

Also, reading here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/wifi/f/968/t/602961, I looked for certificate_sl, but instead found this.
I suppose it is related to the fact that Certificates are hardcoded?
Anyway, I post here for the given case someone in the TI community has had this issue and could help me with my problem.

Hi expert,
I connect Vsys to a CC mode E-load and connect Vbat to a power source. When I enable the learn mode by battery management studio. The Vsys is still equal to Vadaptor.It seem didn't go into learn mode. After reading register, the REG0x12[5]=0. How to enable the learn mode in EVM?

Please support me by discussing if this is possible at all. My current understanding is as follows:

How do I isolate runtime exception? I've a software task aborted with Data Abort exception and would like to isolate the cause either to an instruction or a module name. From the Debug window, i see these calling stack, but it does not help me much, and I can't find a set break command on exception for this purpose.

I am using TPS2660 for distributing power to a couple of devices. The peak current requirements are within the 2A limit set by R(ilim).
I am able to power some of my other circuit boards but as soon I connect a computer or a cellular modem it trips the output power.
Please let me know if there is something I need to be aware of, before using TPS2660 to power devices like a computer or a modem.
Thanks in advance,

Hi,
customer asks:
If we connect differential clock signals to opposite signed pins, do we experience any problem about HDMI connection? Clock signals come from a SMARC (a computer module).

(-) HDMI clock signal connected to (+) clock signal pin of TPD12S016
Can you help?

In the reference schematics, we are seeing some intermediate voltage transitions to generate the needed voltage for the DAC. Any specific reason for this? Is it mandate to follow in our application circuitry? Please share your feedback. Your timely response is highly appreciable.
Following are the power tree:
5V---> 3.7V-->3.3V--->DAC
5V---> 3.7V---> 3.0V--->DAC
5V--> 2.3V-->1.9---> DAC
2.3V--->1.9V--> DAC
2.3V--->1.15V---> DAC
Thank you,

Hi,
I have a few quick questions. Are the termination resistors required for this DAC? In the datasheet (page 23, figure 34) it shows that for clock and data line termination they recommend 27 Ohm resistors (excl. master clock, which has a 10 Ohm termination resistor) are those really necessary? Or can I just leave them out? Is it based on track length? (I am using an ADAU1452 DSP as the data source)
Thanks!
