Part Number:DRV2605L

Hi. Is it possible to change the I2C address of a DRV2605L, possibly before putting on the circuit board? I'd like to have multiple drivers on the same bus without needing to use an I2C multiplexor, if possible.

Thanks!

Mark

Is it possible to produce amplifier chips by applying new technology to real semiconductor die?

Hello, I am specializing in analog amplifiers for audio (negative feedback differential amplification circuit).
We have the technology to solve the disadvantages of the silicon transistor amplifier in the present age. Is it possible to apply this technology to real semiconductor die to produce amplifier chip?

As a main technology;
1. Technology to solve the disadvantages of silicon transistor and realize it with advanced sound such as tube sound.

2. A technology that enhances the driving force of the same load as the speaker to produce a clear, powerful and rich sound.

LM22672: Unexpected Output oscillation on some units

Part Number:LM22672

Hi, We've used thousands of LM22672MRE-ADJ in the past to generate 11V from 24V with a very proven circuit design. The switching frequency is 200kHz. Our recent production batch came back having several devices that cause a "hum" in the inductor and the 11V regulated output shows a ~200mVpp oscillation at several kHz. Normally our output is very clean. Once we replace the LM22672-ADJ with a new IC, the hum goes away and the oscillation disappears. The load on the circuit is not changing - its an LED string. It seems the cause for the hum/oscillation is the LM22672 feedback input FB; the humming units seem to have a far larger deadzone. I am wondering what the cause could be? If our board shop didn't use a proper solder profile, would this cause the feedback input performance to change notably? Did TI change anything in the design of wafer fab process recently? Are there any known IC imitations on the market and we ended up with fake LM22672's? How would I verify that I have truly a TI product? It is nearly impossible for me to remove an LM22672 from the pcb without destroying it - so sending one into TI as an RMA is probably not an easy option. I'd appreciate your feedback. Thank you! ~Falk

AWR1243: CSI Datarate

Part Number:AWR1243

I would like to understand the relationship between chirp parameters, and required datarate on the CSI interface.

The average data rate per frame is: (NUM_SAMPLES * NUM_BITS * 2 * NUM_RX * NUM_CHIRPS_PER_FRAME) / (FRAME_TIME)
The peak data rate per chirp is: (NUM_SAMPLES * NUM_BITS * 2 * NUM_RX) / (IDLE_TIME + RAMP_END_TIME)

An example chirp profile:

NUM_SAMPLES = 1024
NUM_BITS = 16
NUM_RX = 4

IDLE_TIME = 35us
RAMP_END_TIME = 65us

CHIRPS_PER_FRAME = 10
FRAME_TIME = 10ms

Based on these numbers, I calculate an average (per-frame) data rate of 131 Mbit/s and a peak (per-chirp) datarate of 1.31 Gbit/s.

My experimentation suggests that the CSI datarate needs to be set to accommodate the higher limit. For example, I observe that using a 1.2 Gbit/s CSI configuration does not return data, while using a 1.8 Gbit/s configuration does. Can you confirm this is the expected behavior?

Thanks for your assistance,
Antonio

Hi, team.

My customer is trying to use "HD3SS215".

Since there was a question about "HD3SS215" from the customer, please tell me this.

Q1:My customer plans to configure two sources and to one sink application using HD3SS215.

   Their plan is to connect HDMI Input Connector on one source side.

        Is it OK to connect HDMI Input Connector?

Q2:On the above system configuration, does it require AC coupling capacitors between HD3SS215 and SN65DP159?

Could you help me?

Part Number:MSP-GANG

I am trying to build up a duplicate test fixture/programmer using a MSP-Gang programmer. The program (in LabVIEW) calls the msp-gang.dll. I keep getting error 12 and I have almost no information on  what I need to do to correct the problem.

I have enclosed pictures of the GUI based programmer whick works on 5 of the 6 attached devices to be programmer (one is probably bad)

I have enclosed copies of the front screen and code for the LabVIEW program where the error occurs. Please ignore the center data on the front screen as it refers to another device attached to the tester but is not called in this subroutine.

The system was originally developed with an earlier version of mapgang software 1.12 I believe. The files are now in ProgramsFiles(86)/TI while there were previously ProgramFiles\Elpotronic (I believe)

Hi there,

I searched around codes and videos of Sensortag CC2650 for Bluetooth low energy communication. I found that there were some sources codes from TI website in some old videos. However, they are gone when I tried to find them followed the steps in videos. Does anyone could provide me some guideline about how to communication this Sensortag via BLE? Thank you very much.

MSP430F4250: DAC self-calibration

$

Part Number:MSP430F4250

Hello,

MSP430F4250 microcontroller has a DAC inbuilt into it with offset calibration feature. According to the datasheet, the calibration takes max 32ms when AMP setting = 5. I observed that it takes approximately 11ms in my case. Also, the output voltage during calibration is almost zero.

1) Internal to the controller, how is DAC offset calibration implemented? Curious to know the technique behind it.

2) Will the time taken for calibration vary wildly for a microcontroller with the same firmware? Say, 3ms in one instance and 11 ms in another?

(During development of the firmware, I noticed that the controller used to reset frequently. Identified the cause to be the Watchdog Timer- I had kept the WDT running with 4ms overflow period but had not implemented steps to reset it while DAC calibration was underway (~11ms).

HOWEVER, the reset phenomenon was not consistent- the uC used to work properly half the time. How can this be? The way I see it, this can be only if DAC calibration took less than 4ms during those instances when the uC used to work properly. )

This is how I implemented DAC calibration- Set the DAC12CALON bit to initiate calib. Poll the bit until it becomes zero which signifies that calib is complete.

  DAC12_0CTL |= 0x0200;    // Initiate DAC calibration
  while(  (DAC12_0CTL & 0x0200)  ){
  }

TPS61021A: Questions about TPS61021A device

$

Part Number:TPS61021A

Hi,

I am evaluating the TPS61021A device by obtaining the evaluation board.
The evaluation board is TPS61021EVM-723.
So I have some questions about how to use the device.

· What is the variation of fsw? (PWM is in a stable state)

· Is the value of Rθja on the evaluation board 71.1°C / W? Or does θJa change in EVM?
  I believe that board area will affect.

· Coil selection, is it suitable for selection from 0.33uH to 1.0uH / ± 30%?
  What is wrong if 1.0uH + 30% is exceeded?

· It is a question about Cin. If there is ringing to Vin, there is addition of a tantalum capacitor, but is there a need for low ESR for this tantalum C?
  What is the value of ESR required for ESR?

· What is the current value of the branch point between PFM and PWM? (When Vout = 3.5 V)

· It is a question about behavior of short circuit protection operation.
  When Vout becomes 1.6 V or less, the current is limited, and if Vout falls below 1.0 V, there will be a limit of 100 mA.
  What is the relationship with Ilim = 4.3 A? Is there a diagram showing Vout and current limit value?

(specification)
Vout : 3.5V
Vin : 1.5V to 3.5V
Iout : 0.7Atyp

TCA9800: I'm looking for bidirectional I2C level shifter for 1.8V/5V

Part Number:TCA9800

Hello team,

I found TCA9800 as a good bidirectional I2C level shfter option for treating offset voltage sensitive 1.8V rail.

I'm looking for 1.8/5V I2C translating, but TCA9800 has 4V max limitation, unfortunately..

Do you have any good option of I2C level shifter with satisfying 5V rail? Also, smaller package size is preferred.

Thanks in advance.

XIO2001: Power up sequence for /PERST

$

Part Number:XIO2001

Hello,

I have a question about XIO2001 power sequence, especially /PERST deassertion timing.

1.

The datasheet says to wait a minimum of 100ms after applying power in the below figure (Yellow marked line)

I think this “after applying power” mean “after all 1.5V, 3.3V and PCIR power rails are stable within recommended operating condition”.

Is this my understanding correct?

2.

Although above datasheet description says “after applying power”, following figure 4 shows that /PERST is deasserted 100ms after /GRST.

Which is correct, “100msec after all power rails stable” or “100msec after /GRST deasserted”?

I know /GRST must be deasserted after all power rails stable.

So my question means that does the /PERST deassertion have to wait 100m after /GRST deassertion if all power rails are stable much before?
