Tool/software:TINA-TI or Spice Models

As you know the duty cycle of square wave in the tina software is 50%. How to change the duty cycle of square wave in tina?

For example, if we want a duty cycle with the duty cyle of 30% or 40%, how can i get it?

CCS/TMS320F28375S: PCN# 20180523001.1 for a CCSv612 user: Drag&Drop the CCS CGTool CGTv6.4.6

Part Number:TMS320F28375S

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello,
Could you please tell us how to install CGTool (CGTv6.4.6) into CCSv8.1.0 ?
Or, do you agree to drag&drop the folder "ti-cgt-c2000_6.4.6" from CCSv6.1.2?

My trials:

The exact version is not avaialble in a polite way of install:
The menu Help -> Install New Software displays CGTv6.4.12, but not the CGTv6.4.6.

As a trial, the CGTv6.4.6 folder "ti-cgt-c2000_6.4.6" was copied:
  From: C:\ti\ccs612\ccsv6\tools\compiler\ti-cgt-c2000_6.4.6
  To:   C:\ti\ccs810\ccsv8\tools\compiler\ti-cgt-c2000_6.4.6
The result was no problem as long as my short test, but we would like to ask if TI agree this copy.

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Compiler_Version_Numbers_and_What_They_Mean

From the wiki, I understood that the CGTv6.4.12 is just a bux fix of the CGTv6.4.6 and they are very close.

But my customer may prefer a exact match of the versions.

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

1)I use CC2541 ADC,P0_7  port.

2)My circuit reference attachment picture

  • When VCC=3V,R1=R2=1M,The CC2541 ADC samples a voltage error of 1V.
  • When VCC=3V,R1=R2=1K,The CC2541 ADC samples a voltage error of 0V,which is no error.

please help me to check it.

There is optical reference design for DLP3010 but not DLP4710 / DLP470TP.

Is there any design or part numbers we can use to get the correct RTIR prism in our optical design?

TPS63027: Quiescent Current in PWM Mode

$

Part Number:TPS63027

Hi

Currently my client is developing with TPS63027.

The customer expected an Iq of 35uA on the datasheet

However, Quiescent Current is about 7mA.

I have reviewed the circuit diagram and have not used PFM mode by connecting Mode Pin to Gnd.

The corresponding 35uA seems to be the standard in PFM mode.

The customer wants to know the Iq value in PWM mode.

Do you think that the measured 7mA is appropriate now?

If I change to PFM Mode, can I expect an Iq of 35uA?

How I must to make an Input chain to use ads54j64 in dual ADC mode? I need to use both A and B inputs and therefore to supply them with driver what can drive 25 Ohm load? Or, may be, there is any internal commutation in chip and I can use simple input A (or B)? Sorry for my English

LM5106: About the mean of MDT

Part Number:LM5106

Hi,

I have question about MDT.
I understand MDT is "MDT= |DT1-DT2|" from Figure3.
On the other hand, DT1 and 2 value are tested 510ns at RDT=100kOhm and 86kOhm at RDT=10kOhm under 25 degrees.
Why is MDT defined in datasheet?

Shimizu

CC2640R2F: hardwire design problem:repeatly pin breakdown failure

$

Part Number:CC2640R2F

Customers have a high probability of product failure on the new 2.13-inch electronic price tag, both in the factory and on the client side, and now the bad devices returned are around 200 pics.
We have done the first round of failure analysis, and the conclusion is pin breakdown, but now we need to find the problem for our customers.

The information that is now known is as follows:

GPIO_2 and GPIO_3 are configured as TXD and RXD.

The device is button battery supplied.

About the phenomenon of failure:

• From the perspective of product application, various functions are completely absent, and leakage current is from mA to tens of mA level.

• How to test the energy consumption from 3-4uA to mA? By Programmable power supply, or battery directly series connects ammeter.

• VDD3 (pin22) to ground impedance is 27 ohms (1 pcs failure sample).

LM5085: Buck 60V -> 12V 10A - Unable to reach above 3A

Part Number:LM5085

Hi,

I'm having trouble to get the LM5085 to get an output 12V 10A from a 60V supply.

The design works fine until around 3A, above that point it start to make strange noise and breaks down and burns the FET. Before that, it runs fine at 3A. I replaced the FET with some big ones for testing, same behavior but the FET survive.

It does not seem to be related to the current limiting (The behavior is different when it's in current limiting mode).

I also tried to increase the inductor to have a higher Isat and higher inductance but does not make much difference.

Any tip would be very appreciated.

Thanks

IWR1443BOOST: pre-set configuration on boot

Part Number:IWR1443BOOST

Hi,

i have seen several posts about wanting to start the IWR1443BOOST up, and immediatly start receiving data. the linked post has a few additional files to use. Isn't there an easier way to accomplish a pre-set configuration, while keeping the flexibility to adjust the paramaters via UART?

What i want is to start the sensor, load a pre-set configuration on the board itself, so without receiving data via UART. If i want new values for the parameters, i want these to be able to read via UART as it is already.

What i am asking is: i want to have an additional file with the pre-set configuration, which gets loaded on bootup of the device, everytime it boots up.

I am thinking of calling the functions to set the parameters at the beginning of the task that tells the  sensor to keep waiting for a first communication. So to skip this waiting, and replace it with my configuration. My question is: where in the code does this happen? and which functions do i call to set the parameters?

cheers

FDC1004: Best way to connect electrodes at the tank to the FDC1004 board

$

Part Number:FDC1004

Hi TI,

I have made custom elektrodes for level sensing. Due to space limitations i can not place the FDC1004 on the same PCB so i need some kind of a short cable connection between the boards. What kind of connector/wires would u recommend? What lengths of the cables are ok?

I thought of using a 10cm long ribbon cable with the wires arranged shield and channel wires next to each other. SH CH1 SH CH2 SH CH3 SH in this way. Coax cable would be nice but is to expensive.

Thanks,

Regards

Alex
