Hello,
We have a customer asking about the separation of GND and PGND in the EVM layout:
"I noticed that on the TPS63060EVM-619 User's Guide, that in the PCB layout, that GND and PGND are labelled as separate ground planes. As well, I noticed in the PCB layout these are kept separate. However, on page 9, a connection is shown between GND and PGND.
Is it alright for GND and PGND to be connected? Or must they always be separate? Any information would be appreciated."
Could someone please look in to this?
Thanks,
Hey!
I'm currently searching for the LDO with an active low enable. I've found TPS78833, but I need a higher input voltage. The TI search doesn't unfortunately show the enable level and to find a chip I have to go through all the datasheets, so I decided to ask here, are there any other LDOs for Vin >= 14V with more or less same other characteristics like TPS78833?
Thanks!

Hi team,
My customer are using TPS65150, but the output is abnormal, and the boost output is the same as Vin. VGH and VGL are 0V. The schematic is as follows:
Do you have any comments?
Thanks,
Cera
My customer is interfacing with a legacy device that has a TLK2711 on it.. Since these are no longer available, they plan to do the serialization on their end using an FPGA, and are looking for a re-clocker or line driver that goes between the FPGA and the serial link.
This is a Serdes interface and as far as I know using VLM.
I'm looking to know whenever we have a buffer available, that is suitable for this application.

Hi,
I tried to load the demo project "blelock_MSP_EXP432P401R_tirtos_ccs" , but I get the following error, I will appreciate if you help me figure it out.
I use CCS 7.4.0.00015.

I have the RF430FRL152HEVM and am using the MSP-FET to connect to it.
What steps need to be taken to do the following:
1) Change the 'tag id' to something arbitrary - for testing purposes
2) Write to a specific block on the FRAM
Thanks in advance

Looking at the project.map file, I have the following lines:

0000b300 000004f4 modem_sm.obj (.const:.string)
0000b7f4 00000232 modem.obj (.const:.string)The driverlib_msp430.lib is the drivelib that I compiled as a library. So my question is, it looks like it takes up 0x916 bytes, thats 4.5K of flash, why so much? any way to reduce it?

Hi Support,
I have a problem with the completion in the header files of a C/C++ project in Code Composer Studio
Basically, completions are available in .c or .cpp files, but do not work in the associated .h files. As additional info, (for #include only) in the header file .h, only the files present in its same folder seems to be listed by the indexer.
Here below an example of what I mean:
- in the test.c file, hitting CTRL+SPACE a list of completions appears
- in the test.h file, hitting the CTRL+SPACE the completions do not appear and "No completions available" is visible in the bottom left corner.
How can I have completions available in the headers files too?
I am running Code Composer Studio Version: 7.2.0.00013, and test is a newly created project for the TM4C1237H6PZ in a newly created workspace
The same seems to happen to my collegues operating with the Code Composer Studio
The same seems not to happen in eclipse Photon 4.8.0M6
Notes:
- I already searched the forums for Code Composer Studio and eclipse
- I already tried all that I could in the indexer and completions options of the Code Composer Studio, but had no success
- this issue seems very similar to mine: https://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/f/81/p/387376/1373367
- I believe it is me missing something as I cannot believe this issue would have not been raised by other users before.
Thanks for your help

Alberto

Is there a version of boot_emac_flash which allows reverting to current (older) firmware after an error from attempting to download a new image?
If not, is there a similar boot loader option which does this?
If no to both, how might the boot_emac_flash be altered to gain this feature?
If an Ethernet firmware update fails, I need the ability to revert back to the current image. boot_emac_flash seems to erase the current application code as a new application image arrives. A failure halfway through the download would make reverting impossible because half of the current image has been erased.
I am aware of boot loaders that have 2 images. The memory is split in half and the newer image is downloaded to a different area of memory without deleting the current image. Is a dual image setup safer than downloading one image over another? In this configuration, would it be best for image A to download image B, or let the boot loader download image B?
Whatever option to use the LM Flash Programmer. I do not want to make my own window's app if TI has already provided one.
TivaWare has application code that will receive the "magic packet" sent by the LM Flash Programmer in swupdate.c. This example code uses lwIP. Is there TivaWare code that uses TI's NDK instead?

Dear Sir or Madam:
I use the bq40z50-r1 in my design ,I need to konw ,the "system resistance ", the "pack resistance"and the"Term voltage "is a fixed vaule or a changing vaule ?
Once I set these parameters ,will they change ?
If they happen change ,what's wrong ? I have sealed the bq40z50-R1 using the 0x0030.
Looking forward to your replys .Thank you .

Hi there
I'm currently having some problems with updating the splash screen images on our 3010-g2 device. I've tried using the DLP Lightcrafter v7.0 software, both the basic and advanced programs create the same behaviour.
Our custom splash screen images are being uploaded but its broken up and artefacty, I cannot change the input on the projector once this happens and it happens every time I try to use a custom splash screen. If I flash back to the normal firmware image all functionality is restored. I'm guessing the image formats I've tried are not supported but I've been at this all day and haven't got any closer. I've tried bitmaps, Jpeg (both CrCb 422 and 444) and also PNG files but all produce similar results, all files were made with GIMP 2. I've tried resolutions of 1280*720 and 640*360.
I've even used some of the images on our 3010 gen 1 device and it was working great. I'm not sure where to go from here.
Here is what I've been trying in the simple GUI;
Go to the firmware section, Click Update Flash Image "Get Started" button
select 3010-G2 from dropdown, select latest firmware downloaded from TI as source, name the output and click next
Skip looks
Add our splash screen to first splash location, click next
Apply a short axis flip as we are using rear projection, set default splash to 1, set LED currents, click finish
Then proceed with the update.
I've been trying similar with the advanced GUI and everything seems to work fine when I use the factory default splash screens, as soon as I try to include our own splash images the device becomes unusable with the broken image on screen and inability to change input.
Does anyone know of where I can get some sample images that I can inspect and compare with our splash images?
Or if anyone has any ideas what I'm doing wrong that would be great.
Thanks in advance
Steve
Part Number:AFE4403
Hi, I use a custom AFE4403 module that has SPH7050. This module is connected to the CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL.
The PRF is set to 500 Hz. Every 2ms, the ADC_RDY gets toggled and I configured the firmware to read all 6 registers (LED2VAL, ALED2VAL, LED1VAL, ALED1VAL, LED2_ALED2VAL, LED1_ALED1VAL).
After I gather 256 samples of these, I wish to make the AFE4403 stop toggling ADC_RDY and lower the power consumption.
In the meantime, I will use the CC3220SF to calculate the heart rate.
So I started with the AFE_PDN pin; after collecting 256 data (AFE4403 toggling 256 times and I read all 6 registers 256 times).
the CC3220SF MCU toggled the AFE_PIN to low and started to calculate the heart rate.
After the MCU toggles the AFE_PIN to high, I expected the red/green LED of SPH7050 to show up.
However, either LED didn't light up. It looked some kind of a reset to me.
- In short,
1. By toggling the AFE_PIN, does every register settings (CONTROL3 TX3_MODE, CONTROL2 TXBRGMOD, PRPCOUNT, LED2STC, LED2ENDC, ...) become reset?
2. In order to make the AFE4403 stop triggering ADC_RDY after the MCU gets 256 samples and set it to low power modes, what registers should be configured?
I want to configure to the lowest power mode possible that doesn't need registers re-initialization.
Hi Team,
Do we have USB3 to LVDS(panel) device? This is for the monitor application.
