ADS1298R: Question about time settle in acquisition.

$

Part Number:ADS1298R

Hello. I'm working in a project with the ADS1298. I need some help to understand something about the data rate and time settle:

If im trying to have a 500 SPS (24+24*8 bits ready to be taken by spi, every 2ms), so DRDY should toggle to 0 every 2ms...when I see the t settle table

in the datasheet ( p. 51) it shows a time settle (when DRDY should toggle to 0 to indicate new data) of 18440/2048000 = 9ms...that is a data rate of 111 SPS

So thats my confusion...which is the correct data rate (I understand data rate as have the 24+24*8 bits ready)? 500 sps or 111 sps?

Thank you.

Dear TI Team.

I am designing SN65DSI86. We would like to get a review of the circuit and Register settings to identify the problem.

- Video format : RGB4:4:4

- APU/GPU maximum DSI Clock frequency is 1GHz

- Using the eDP panel

- SN65DSI86 Normal operation when Test pattern is executed.

- Screen is not displayed when Mipi signal is applied

Part Number:MSP430FR2433

Team, aside from MSP-FET compatibility, is there any issue for using 150k pull-up on the RST line instead of the recommended 47k? Would the capacitor to ground need to change if such a resistor value is used?  I am referring to R1 and C1 of page 19 of the HW UG.

Part Number:DRV2605L

After 'playing' a waveform, my status register shows FB_STS has become 1, which apparently means Feedback controller has timed out.
I cant find any other information on this here or in the datasheet. Is this normal or indicative of a problem?

Thanks,
Jacob

Hi Team,

Is there any way to implement an open-drain I/O on the MSP?

Is it as simple as toggling between Hi-Z and Output Low?

LM5050MK-1EVAL: Can I use this same design, but without the 100 Ohms between pin 1 and 6?

Part Number:LM5050MK-1EVAL

Hello,

I was looking at the EVM design for this board and was wondering if the 100 Ohm was absolutely necessary?

Can I just do a short between the two pins? If not, up to what voltage level is it necessary to have a resistor there?

Thank you,
Louie

Is there any mitigation for limit inrush current when connecting a battery or when turning on the BATFET

my PMIC but I need to limit any inrush currents to less than 3A.

Dear all,

I'm using CC2640R2F to interface with mobile app. I have a trouble with Samsung Note 4 (Android 6.0.1). It's can't connected and discovery by mobile app such as: NRF Connect or BLE scanner while these another phones is ok such as: Note 3, Iphone 6/6S...I'm using both SDK simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_1_40_00_45 and simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_1_50_00_58, the result are same.

I also see on TI forum guide disable DLE (LE Data Length Extension) But it seem not solve this problem. I also test interface Samsung note 4 with NRF51822 chip, it's is ok. My wonder is this TI BLE SDK issue ?  Please give recommence.

thanks so mcuh,

TPS74801: Question about drop voltage

Part Number:TPS74801

Hello,

My customer wants to set "Vo: 1 V, Io: 0.959 A" at "Vin: 1.5 V, Vbias: 3.3 V, Ta: 0 to 60 ° C." using TPS74801.
In order to know the lower limit value of Vin, please tell me the value of "Vdo" under the above conditions.
I would appreciate it if you can get graphs of (Vbias - Vo) versus Vdo when Io is 1A.

Thank you.

I have two question about phase noise and jitter of LMK04906.
I would like to the following spec.
-L(f)clkout phase noise(offset=1kHz~10MHz) @ fclkout= 312MHz and 156MHz
-RMS jitter @ fclkout=156MHz

Sorry, I would like to get this data as soon as possible .
Please help me.

TPS54335A: current mode modeling parameters

$

Part Number:TPS54335A

My customer wants to model the TPS54335A  using his own peak current mode model. To do this he needs certain controller gain parameters, in particular the current sense gain and slope compensation.  The data sheet does provide the error amplifier gain and response components.

The data sheet indicates includes the power stage gain of 8A/V, but not sure how to fit this into his model. Is this the inverse of the current sense gain (0.125 ohms)?  And how can he model the slope compensation being added to the sensed current?

Question: The vcc(5v) for download, we found the vcc fall when download which causes the downloading of the program to fail. Part Number:TPS54428

Hi team,

I'm using webench simulation of TPS54428, but it's not avaible to simulate it from IOUT=2.2A (VIN=5V/ Vout=3.3V) in the webench.

So, TPS54428 can't support the following conditions?

VIN = 5V

VOUT=2.5V / IOUT = 2.5A (average)

Thanks,

Sam Lee

CC2650STK: Package/Software used to develop Android App for CC2650 SensorTag

Part Number:CC2650STK

Greetings,

I was trying to get some further details on the development of the Android Application for the CC2650 SensorTag.

I have cloned the latest distribution over on GitHub, and have looked through the various directories/files.

Questions:

- Is there any sort of 'Readme' which describes the files contained in the git ? Some of the file names are self-explanatory, as is some of the content. However, for others, not so much. If there is not a 'Readme', this would be VERY useful.

- What software was used to write the Android App for the SensorTag, i.e., was *all* of the code hand-written, or was a template used, i.e., in 'Android Studio', to auto-generate some of the code ?

Regards,

J.

Hi,

Could anyone help me with this? I really read the ADC reference a lot  but still I don't really understand how the ADC value is ready to use and don't know how to check to see if it is right. Could you please correct what I understand 1,2,3?

ePWM2SOCA is trigger for A0, A1, B0 on zero match

ePWM3SOCA is trigger for B4 on period match

Both ePWMs are up-down mode and both are syn. with ePWM1.

1. ePWM2SOCA and ePWM3SOCA arrive at the same time.

2. A0+B0->A1->B4 sequentially are sampled or actually A0-A15 and B0-B15 all are sequentially sampled?  Is there a need to wait for the time base counter of ePWM3 to reach to the period then get B4 sampled?

3. Set EOC4 as trigger for interrupt ADCB1 and values from A0, B0, A1, B4 are transferred to the result regs. Or do I need to set two interrupts ADCA1 and ADCB1 because I use two trigger sources?

CCS/TMS320F28035: Failing to write to 0x3F7FF6 (boot to flash entry point) via flash kernel or Code Composer/JTAG

$

Part Number:TMS320F28035

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I am having a strange issue that I just started noticing.  I have modified the f28035 flash kernel to flash an application over CAN.  The flash kernel sits in sector A of flash, and the application goes in sectors B-H.  I am usually able to flash the application via the flash kernel just fine, but every once in a while it fails when trying to the write to 0x3F7FF6, the boot to flash entry point.  Whenever I see this failure in my flash kernel, I try to flash it via Code Composer/JTAG and it fails then too.  It erases the flash sectors just fine, it even writes to every flash location (basically the entire app) until it gets to 0x3F7FF6 at the end and it fails to write to that spot.  I can program the last application that wrote to 0x3F7FF6 just fine, but I can't program a different application.  It's like the first application to write to that location locks it until I completely erase all flash sectors and then everything works again....for a while.  Is there some weird permission issue when writing to 0x3F7FF6 or something?
