BQ25120A: The default voltage of Vsys/PMID/LDO

Part Number: BQ25120A

Hi,
[Vsys]
For BQ25120A, default Vsys output is 1.8V.
We want to adjust to 3.3V and provide to our MCU used.

1.) Could TI set to 3.3V before shipping that we can provide to MCU derectly?
2.) Or we need turn on MCU under 1.8V, and then use I2C to adjust to 3.3V?
If yes, will setting return to 1.8V after reboot?
[PMID]
1.) What is the Vpmid default voltage?
2.) If it's not 3.3V, could TI set to 3.3V before shipping?
3.) Or we need to use MCU to adjust to 3.3V?
If yes, will setting return to default voltage after reboot?
[LDO]
1.) What is the Vldo default voltage?
2.) If it's not 3.3V, could TI set to 3.3V before shipping?
3.) Or we need to use MCU to adjust to 3.3V?
If yes, will setting return to default voltage after reboot?

LMX2594: question of layout and loop filter

Part Number: LMX2594

 Hi,ti experts,

 I have two questions:

 1. For the layout of the loop filter,i find lmx2594 demo is placed as follows:C1,C2,C3,R2,R3,R4 are located at the CPout, and C4 is placed close to Vtune. But for some reason,my layout didn't follow this layout.I put all the loop filter  component at the Vtune term.Did this layout will effect phase noise?or should i have to refer to the demo layout?

2.My pll worked at 10~12.5GHz,i designed and optimized the filter with the help of PLLATINUM SIM software, and got the filter as follow:C1=0.39nF C2=68nF R2=0.068KΩ C3=2.7nF R3=0 Ω,did this loop is well enough if i want to get the best phase noise and the optimal spur without care of lock time but the loop needs to be stable at high and low temperature?Because when i continued to optimize and i found the result didn't change much.My fosc=368.64M,Fpd=122.88M,Osc noise is:1k:-119dBc/Hz 10k:-133dBc/Hz 1M:-148dBc/Hz.

Thanks.

WEBENCH® Tools/LM324: TINA LM324 noise problem

Part Number: LM324

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

I used TINA to simulate the noise of the LM324. The circuit diagram and noise waveform are shown below:

This is different from the noise waveform I usually see. If I use other op amps like TLV9062, the waveform will become normal.

The TLV9062 noise waveform are shown below:

Is the internal structure of LM324 causing this difference? Can you explain it to me?

THS4151: Filter component selection guidance

Part Number: THS4151

hi,

we are designing the amplier for the voltage measurement circuit. AMC1300 is used as isolation amplifier for voltage measurement. Its output is given to THS4131.

Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.

we are facing noise in the amplifier output and the noise signals are in the range of +/-12V. we are guessing that these noise are added into the circuit due to THS4131.

Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.

we are trying to add the low pass butterworth filter at the amplifier output as shown in the circtuit below.

Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.

Input voltage to AMC1300 : 75mV

Output voltage from AMC1300 : 615mV

R1 : 402 Ohm

R2 : 4020 Ohm

gain : 10

signal frequency : 15kHz

we ignored the filter components R3, C1,C2, R4 and C3.  we are facing +/-10V noise signal in our output.

Please guide us to select the values for R3, C1, C2, R4 and C3.

Thanking you.

Thanks & regards,

Rajasekaran.

BQ25895: Writing to Registers

Part Number: BQ25895

We would like to increase the charging current on the bq25895.  We understand that we need to REG04 to increase it.  My question is, are these registers volatile?  If non-volatile, is there any projected maximum number of write cycles.  If they are volatile, do we need to write to them every time USB power applied or only after a total loss of power (no battery & no USB)?  My concern is charging when the CPU is powered down and there is no way to program the chip to a larger charge current.

Thanks

CC2652R: How to reduce power consumption in cc2652R?

Part Number: CC2652R

Hi all,

I am working with custom board based on cc2652 board.

We have implemented TDC1000 sensor on the board and VCNL4200 sensor also connected for distance measurement.

It is taking current consumption 6mA. I need to reduce this current consumption.

Can anyone help me that what I need to do to reduce current?

What are the factors that increase current consumption?

CCS/MSP430FR6989: MSP430 interrupt with delay coding problem

Part Number: MSP430FR6989

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

I have attached a switch to port 2.0 and a led to port 2.4. I am trying to figure out how interrupts work with a delay timer, I thought I had the hang of it, but unfortunately, when I press my switch nothing happens.
Can someone help me figure out where my mistake is?

I have written comments in my code to help explain my logic.

#include <msp430.h> /* * DEFINE LED PORT & PIN */ #define LED_PDIR P2DIR #define LED_POUT P2OUT #define LED_PIN 0x10 // Port 2.4 #pragma vector=PORT2_VECTOR __interrupt void Port2ISR(void) // function, describing the interrupt routine { int counter1; int value = 14; for(counter1=0; counter1<32000; counter1++) { if (value < 16000) { value *= value; } else { value -= 10000; } } P2IFG &= ~0x01; // P2.0 IFG cleared } void blinkDelay() { // Configure the LED LED_PDIR = LED_PIN; LED_POUT = LED_PIN; // Infinite loop to blink the LED while(1) { LED_POUT ^= LED_PIN; //Toggle the LED P2.4, using XOR operator __delay_cycles(100000); } } void main(void) { WDTCTL = WDTPW | WDTHOLD; // Stop watchdog timer P2DIR = 0x10; // define P2.4 as output P2OUT = 0x10; // Set P2.4 to pullup P2REN |= 0x01; // Enable resistor on pin P2.0 P2IE |= 0x01; // Enable interrupt at pin P2.0 P2IES |= 0x01; // Set to 1 -> falling edge P2IFG &= ~0x01; // P2.0 IFG cleared _BIS_SR(GIE); // Enable interupts blinkDelay(); }

TLV320ADC3101: Here are two questions about using the ADC chip tlv320adc3101

Part Number: TLV320ADC3101

Here are two questions about using the ADC chip tlv320adc3101
1. For the audio recorded by the ADC, even if the front-end op amp has been completely disconnected from the signal chain, there is still some background noise below 200Hz.
 2. The left figure below shows the normal recording and the right figure shows the disconnection of the signal chain. It can be seen that even if the signal chain is disconnected and the ADC has no input, there is still energy below 200Hz. I don't know if this is normal or can it be improved?
3. The audio recorded by this ADC has DC bias. For different ADCs, some are up biased, some are down biased and some are not. Is there any way to improve this?

SN74LS244: Logic forum

Part Number: SN74LS244

Hi experts,

I am looking for a TTL device which has eqivalent function as SN74LS244 (Octal buffer and line driver) but should have all inputs on one package side and all outputs on the other side of the package for easy P&R on the PCB.

Ideally a device in plastic DIP package would be the best but it not available, the plastic small outline package would also do.

Looking forward to your kind reply.

Thanks and best regards.
