RM46L852: How to check the program overflow offset value in the HETOFF register

Part Number: RM46L852

Hi All,

As mentioned in the below link program, we have checked the program overflow flag in the HETEXC2 register.

  https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/hercules/f/312/t/530050?PWM-as-multi-purpose-timer-using-HET-Interrupts-are-not-firing

As mentioned in the Technical reference manual section(23.2.7 Interrupts and Exceptions).

As per the attached screen shot, we want to check the Program Overflow offset value in the HETOFF register. We are not getting the same.

Could you please tell us how to check the same? Are we missing the same?

Thank you.

CCS/IWR6843ISK: PeopleCounting Lab: Send data from DSP to UART by skipping ARM ---> DSS crashes when dataLogger parameter is set to "dssLogger"

Part Number: IWR6843ISK

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

I am having trouble while trying to send data from DSP directly to UART skipping ARM processing.

Diving a bit in the code of People Counting Lab I figured out that it is possible to set the parameter dataLogger to "dssLogger" so that the DSP writes directly the data to UART instead of sending the message to ARM.

Therefore I decided to add this parameter to the configuration file just before the sensorStart command:

The command is accepted by the CLI during configuration flushing and, thanks to the debugger and breakpoints, I could also verify that the code of DSP sending data to UART is executed.

The problem is that, just after a few seconds, the DSS and MSS firmware crash, and I can neither debug the code nor receive any data through UART from DSP.

Follows a code snippet of the dss_main.c where the DSS crashes:

Follows a code snippet of the mss_main.c where the MSS crashes:

The problem arises both in debug mode and when running the firmware normally.

Do you have any idea about the reason of this?

Any help/support is really appreciated.

Alessandro

Hi,

We have manufactured camera modules using TIDA-00421 reference gerber files and the CPU board is designed using DRA756 processor. Camera's are connected to DRA756 SoC as shown in the below block diagram.

So far we are able to stream video from Camera_1 via OV490_1 but Camera 2 is not streaming. As OV490 can capture two camera details  please guide me on bringing up both cameras at once.

Compiler/TMS320F28377D: redefining CLAscratch section?

Part Number: TMS320F28377D

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

Dear readers,

I'm having 1 project for two CPU core so I only need to flash 1 CPU core.

I've divided the FLASH in pages for specific code sections which are copied through the IPC to the right RAM area (CPU1, CLA1, CPU2 and CLA2).

That all works just fine, i'm only running into some difficulties with the CLAmath library and things could be done more easy if I could redefine some sections for CLA2

like for the 2nd CLA renaming the  CLAscratch -> CLA_2scratch

Is this possible?

Or maybe it's possible to put all the sections of CLA sources in folder to a specific page (   CLA_RAM: {  projectfolder/dir/*.obj(CLAscratch)   }

Or some other advanced techniques

Hi experts,

Customer is having trouble to make PCA9306 works.

Therefore customer has three question.

1, Which Is PCA9306 outoput, CMOS or Nch open-drain?

2, How does PCA9306 decide which direction, master or slave?

3, Does PCA9306 include function like One-shots (on TXB0106) ?

CCS/IWR1443BOOST: How to send N bins of 1. FFT over UART into ROS?

Part Number: IWR1443BOOST

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

Task i'd like to see: Send 1. FFT n bins of all RX channels located in MmwDemo_DataPathObj::radarCube via UART to ROS.

My question:

How can 1. FFT data be selected from L3 (using MmwDemo_config2DSingleBin_EDMA?)

and sent out to ROS as "point Cloud" payload (using via MmwDemo_transmitProcessedOutput?) ?

Config is done by Demo Visualizer to limit data rate over UART < 1 Mbit/s and control duty cycle.

Startpoint is "out-of-the-box" demo.

Devices: IWR1443 ES3.0 and IWR6843AOP with specific SDK versions.

Hello,

When we are doing a yocto based build setup, to create an image using Linux Automotive Processor SDK to create arago image. When  triggered bitbake, getting fetch failures on various repositories on 'git.ti.com' due to git fetch timeout errors.

The timeout happens sporadically, pointing some network issues on TI servers, as we have tested it various network connections ( with proxy, without proxy), to verify the problems on our servers/ISPs

for eg; the following recipes failed, between multiple runs ....

meta-arago/meta-arago-distro/recipes-bsp/ti-sci-fw/ti-sci-fw_2019.08.bb

Eg; of output what we got between two clone tries on one of the repo, we see errors between tries with in a minute apart, having different results ...

LMG3410R070: Device failed during operation

Part Number: LMG3410R070

We designed one half bridge module using LMG3410RO70 using the reference from TI. We used it for synchronous boost converter operation. We tested it with open loop configuration. It was working fine when the input voltage is below 30V. But when we increase the voltage above 30V the upper device is not properly switching on and by further increasing 10 more voltage the upper device failed (not getting the 5V from LDO inside the GaN device). Please find the attachment for GaN half bridge schematic and Device voltage waveform. In the wave form you can see that there is a shift in the voltage level during turn on. UCC2897A: add a bias to the Vcs to make the power consumption lower

$

Part Number: UCC2897A

Hi team,

The Vcs threshold is too large, so the power loss of the current sense resistor is large. We want to check whether we can add a bias to the Vcs to make the power consumption lower. For example, resistor divider Vref or Vin. Do you have some suggestions about the solution which is ok to be used? Thanks.
