I'm trying to debug an Experimenter OMAP-L138 board, using CCS (version 9.2.0.00013) and an XDS100v2 probe <with updated firmware>. But I keep getting the dreaded "OnTargetConnect()" error. (Though the target configuration <.ccxml> "test connection" always goes successfully.) Is there a recommended way to solve this problem?
*************************
I did my due diligence homework, and searched for the answer myself. But many of the TI Wiki links on this issue seem to dead-end, and I'm seeing some confusing info. I recall one attempt involved setting the JTAG clock (TCLK) to "Adaptive with user specified limit" and setting that limit to a lower frequency. (I tried many lower frequencies, and it didn't work.) Another attempt involved getting rid of the .gel file, and instead just initialize the board via the program code. (I would need instructions on how to do that.) Another attempt involved upgrading to the newer XDS110 probe, but the product-page says this probe does not support the OMAP-L138. Likewise the XDS200 probe product-page does not list the OMAP-L138 as a supported device. What am I missing?
Here is the error I keep getting:
ARM9_0: GEL: Error while executing OnTargetConnect(): Page fault occurred reading 0x01C10800

Hi.
I am in charge of a project of bluetooth headset with the function of hearing aid. I choosed a Bluetooth chip as the Microprogrammed Control Unit (MCU) and TLV320AIC3256 as a digital signal processor of the audio. I want to use the Parametric EQ module(PEQ) of PurePath Studio as the hearing aid algorithm, but it seems the PEQ has a very limited ability of compensation (0-12dB) for every frequency band. Is there any other module which has a higher range of compensation for every frequency band?
Thanks!

We want to change the configuration file of High Accuracy Range Measurement demo to do 1024 FFT.
We change the samples per chirp from 512 to 1024, but receive the error of "MMWDemoMSS mmWave Configuration failed with Error code f3dc00c6".
We decode this error code, it shows that the error comes from mmWave:-3108 and Subsys:49"
According to the source code of error code definition, -3108 is MMWAVE_ERPROFILECFG(mmWave link profile config failed) and 49 is RL_RT_CODE_PF_DFE_SAMP_RATE_INVAL_IN(Output sample rate is not within [2,37.5]Msps).
So can 1024 FFT be supported in the demo? if supported, how to configure it?
Thank you.

Hi,
It is mentioned as below on the datasheet;
"If the constant power limit is not used, PROG should be tied to VREF through a 47-kΩ resistor."
My customer would like to use more little resistor.
Does it occur any problems?

Hi, TI team

We want to use the internal tcp/ip network to communicate between two VM.
For application, just create socket for network programming.
Can J7 use the network to communicate between two VM?
Thanks.

Hello All,
I am implementing a startup code for AWR1843 specifically for the cortexR4F core. I've got started by memory initialization module.
My question is that >> is there any relation between PBIST module and memory initialization, should I run PBIST module before memory initialization.
Thanks in advance.

Hello support team,
To what extent is performance of mmWave radar affected by welding fume?
A customer is studying to use ToF and Lidar for "people count" in shipyard where welding fume exists. Performance of these sensors were significantly affected by welding fume. We would like to know if mmWave radar could be an alternative solution. The location is 5mx5m area. A sensor will be set at 3m height.

Dear Sir/Ms.
My customer designed and made SFP+ module and fiber tester.
I promote ONET1130EC to my customer and My customer is searching for 25Ghz TIA solution.
Would you please give me some suggestion?
If you it's possible, could you please provide TX/RX solution to me.

Part Number: TPS56520
Hi Team,
When I look at the 7.6 Timing Requirements of datasheet of TPS56520, tHD;DAT (Data Hold Time) says that Min=50ns and Max=900ns.
But when I look at the tHD;DAT specification of I2CBus user manual from NXP (Philips), it says that Min=0ns and Max=No Limit.
Q-1: Why does the datasheet of TPS56520 have the Max limit of tHD:DATA (Data Hold Time)?
Q-2: What is the reason of that?
Q-3: Can we expand the Max limit of tHD:DATA of TPS56520?
Thank you.

Hello
I used CCS to debug AM3352 through JTAG, but when initialization,it shows the Input Clock Read from SYSBOOT[15:14] was prompted 25MHz AM335x PLL Config failed!!Check SYSBOOT[15:14] for proper input freq config, then I found that the value of control_status resister was not correct through the value of Resisters in CCS.I used the dial-code switch to set sysboot mode, and measured the voltage values of sysboot [15-14] were 0 and 3.3v respectively, and the crystal frequency of the system as 24Mhz.The value of SYSBOOT pin cannot be detected correctly. Why I can't detect the sysboot value successfully?
thanks

SDK setup:
1. Simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_3_30_00_20
2. Simplelink_sdk_ble_plugin_3_20_00_24
Hardware setup: MSP432E401Y(as Application processor) + CC2640R2(as network processor)
Clarifications Required:
1. According to the documentations in CC2640R2 sdk, the BLE5 stack is not supported in the SNP implementation. But in the "<ble plugin directory> /source/ti/snp/ble5stack/ " there are binary files for cc2640R2 as SNP. Does this binary file use the BLE5 stack?
2. If BLE5 stack is used to build this binary, can you share the source for SNP using BLE5?
3. What are the dependencies for "simple_application_processor" if we use the SNP with BLE5 stack? Please point to the changes required to be done in "simple application processor".
Thank you.

Dear TI member,
I have issue with my Lightcrafter 4500 as below:
- Working environment: Windows 10 v18362
- Working status:
+ Stored pattern sequence mode: working fine
+ Updating firmware: failed due to cannot find Manufacturer ID, please check the attached photo
after getting this message, the projector got frozen, need to reboot projector, replug or switch USB port.
+ Trial: updating firmware works normally with Windows 10 lower version, Windows 7
Have you notice this issue before, and what is the suggestion to resolve the issue?
Thank you.

(Please visit the site to view this file)Hi Team,
We are working on a custom platform based on the TI's AM6548 reference platform TMDX654GP EVM. The custom platform has the DDR4 (MT40A512M16LY-062E) part which has a few different configurations from that of the reference design. The software is based upon the latest release from Texas instruments PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-AM65X 06_00_00_07.
In-spite of the difference in DDR4, we attempted to load the software on the custom platform and observed the software fails at very early stages of the booting process. We tried SD Card boot and UART boot and observed the booting process was not successful. Pasted the respective console logs here.

So, we went back to the EMIF tool to modify the DDR timing settings based on the datasheet (both attached here) and generated the new dts files and reloaded the software. This time the DDR initialization failed at write levelling adjustment routine.
