Part Number: TMS320F28032
Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
hi,
My customer design a Charging plie wit 28032, the software is CCS3.3 and the complier is 5.2.4.
if we shield one line of code in firmware, there is a big noise on the output voltage waveform.
we compare the assembly code, we found some differences, but we don't know why these differences can make a big noise.
have you seen it before? how to explain it?
sorry i can't pose customer's code on a public forum.
Thank you
Erwin
Part Number: OPA2388
Dear all:
Can we used OPA2388 to replace AD8605? or have more suitable part? thanks!
Part Number: ADC12DL3200
I use an ADC12DL3200 in a project. I choose to single sample and 4 LVDS outputs mode. ADC clock is provided by a LMK04828 at 1.2GHz, which also provide a clock of 300MHz to FPGA. In FPGA, I use 4 FIFOs to collect 4 LVDS path data with seperate path dclk, then read the FIFO data with 300MHz clock provided by LMK04828. However, these 4 path fifos' output data is not always aligned. I do not know where is the problem?
Part Number: DRV8837
Is it possible to achieve a sinusoidal o/p current from the DRV8837 by modulating the PWM drive? Or would another device be more suitable (5V Vcc, 1.8A pk)?

Hello,
The datasheet specifies the minimum & typical, but not the max source current.
Is there an estimate of the expected maximum source current? Customer is requesting for the value.
Thank you!
Part Number: LM5143-Q1
Hi,
May I ask the MP time of LM5143-Q1?
PGND and AGND ,are them isolation?
Thanks!
Part Number: TMS320F280049C
Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler
Dear TI Hello,
We want to choose between internal and external clock before executing the init flash code,
An external pin is used to choose between internal or external clock.
My question is about using GPIO_ReadPin TI routine before choosing the clock source,
Obviously, the GPIO must be configured before using the GPIO_ReadPin function,
Is there any problem with the configuration of the GPIO before selecting the clock source?
Is there any problem or any side effect while using the GPIO_ReadPin function before choosing the clock source?
In your opinion, is there any other solution despite using an external pin?
Thank you in advance,
S.Tarik,
Part Number: MAX3221E
Dear,Sir
I am working on a project where we have implemented the MAX3221ECPWR IC ,In our application we are communicating with the LCD Interface which Has the same Type of the IC built in it.
But before communicating with the IC implemented in the LCD ,We are doing a manual testing for detection purpose.
My query is mentioned Below:
1)I am unable to detect the IC.We are operating the IC on the 3.3V of supply.
I have disabled the auto shutdown function and connected the force pins with the 3.3 V as displayed in the attached Image.
2)I am unable to generate the Voltage on the 2-4 And 5-6 Pins.
Voltage on 5-6 pins is 1.12V and on 2-4 pins is 0.78v.
What should be the voltage across the 2-4 and 5-6 Pins.?
3)I have connected the usb to UART Dongle and providing the input on the 9-11 Pin ,Still shorting the 8-13 Pin to see whether we are receiving the transmitted data displayed on the dock light.
Still we are unable to receive the transmitted data...!!
Please have a look on the below attached image of the schematic.
Please help on this query your help would be highly appreciated...!!

my program seems fly away when it is running, but I don't want to power up to restart the program , I set watch dog in it,but it doesn't work, if there are more solutions for me to restart or reload my program
Part Number: DAC8760
I have 2 DAC8760 devices connected in daisy-chain, the 2 are configured in 10 volts of output,
the first one is correct, but the second does not exceed 3 volts.
its the same configuraration,i send in 48 bits frame , but only the first works.

Hi,
I am recording data using the mmWave Demo Visualizer Ver 2.1.0
When I run the Cloud version everything is fine.
I downloaded and installed a clone local version of this Visualizer because I need to log data in field operations.
I cannot change in the cloned version the 10 seconds value limit for the Record Time max(s).

Hi Expert,
Customer would like to improve the input power capability, there are dual 5V voltage output from power supply, but he like to convert voltage from dual 5V to single 12Vout. and maximum output current 2.5A.
due to the dual 5V will be in different power sequence, maybe one of 5Vin have a little bit delay.
base on above condition, do you have any suit solution to recommend for customer?
Best Regards,
Mark
Hi,
Regarding AND gate chips I have below queries :
1. What is the maximum number of inputs supported by AND gate chips. My requirement is to connect 8 signals (3.3V level) to AND input and generate 1 OUTPUT.
For this requirement what is the best solution you can provide.
2. I just checked on high level and found SN54ALS21A part. Can we use 2 nos of this chip at 3.3V Power ? (use 1 chip to connect all 8 inputs and use another chip to connect 2 OUTPUts of 1st chip to generate 1 OUTPUT). Whether this is the best solution or do you have any better plan?
3. If the plan as mentioned in point 2 is the recommended solution, then whether I can use the chip SN54ALS21A at 3.3V ? If yes then what are the VIH,VIL values for 3.3V power?

Vijetha
Part Number: DRV2700
Hello,
I have some troubles with noise ripple on the dc boost BST side of the DRV2700. Attached you find the layout and the schematics of the circuit.
I have programmed the dc boost voltage at 68,4V (rms) with the resistor voltage divider. In the screenshot from the oscilloscope measurement (osci_output.png) you can imagine, that on the boost dc voltage (BST pin) (yellow signal) is a ripple of Vpp=12,8V.
The magenta and the cyan signals are the out+ and out- signals (pins) . The differential voltage of the output signals is the piezo signal with Vpp=125V. Due to the differential measurement, the ripples are not present in the violet signal nevertheless, there is still some audible noise radiated by the piezo. I think there is anywhere a mistake in the circuit, because the ripple on the dc boost is extremely high.
Part Number: 2MTR-DYNO
Hi Everyone,
I am working on the modeling of Dyno motor. So, I will be very pleased if anyone could provide me with any of the machine parameters such as: air-gap length, permanent magnet thickness, number of winding turns and number of slots.
Thanks a lot
Part Number: MSP-EXP430G2ET
Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
Hello Everyone,
Basic Questions on using MSP430G2ET and its demo.
1) Error: "Cannot find C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Texas "
2) Trouble loading/running the OOB GUI demo
3) Inconsistent behavior with other serial termnials (Realterm)
4) ESD issues?
5) Swapping chips in/out of Launchpad, How long should power be off?
I am a beginner at using TI microcontrollers. The 430 series looks ideal from a
low current standpoint. I had some success using CCS at work using an older
version of CCS ver 8.3.0.
I installed that same version at home get the error...
"Cannot find C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Texas"
From reading the forum, it would appear that although CCS ver 8 works at work,
updataing to ver 9 at home may solve the problem with (1). I will try that.
I have the MSP430G2ET launch pad, actually two of them.
One seems not to be recognized as a serial port. I am wondering
if these are especially sensitive to ESD? I would expect that could
be possible with a 3V6 volt limit and everything being high impedance!
My three MSP430G2553 chips all seem to run blink LED, or the temp
monitoring on the launchpad once they are loaded, but the connection
to the serial terminal or OOB GUI via the USB port appears to be inconsistent.
(This is at work, where I don't have error (1). )
Often I can't see port numbers that look appropriate.
I have not been able to reproduce my serial terminal OOB GUI
symptoms consistently. Which means troubleshooting is... impossible?
Sometimes Realtem reads out, but OOB GUI does not... same board and chip.
I plan on being consistent with ESD protection, ungrading to
CCS 9.1.0, and use the Resource Explorer to load the
OOB GUI since that worked at work. I have tried installing the
OOB GUI in a couple places and will try to uninstall all of them
before reinstalling. Cloud vrs. local? I am not sure which version I
was working with, maybe both?
I may order another launch pad board to see how it behaves.
I am using 64 bit Windows 10 at home.
I saw the advice about closing all screens and opening just *one*,
that may help resolve the serial terminal/OOB GUI issue?
Any *short* advice for newbies to this family of chips and their
supporting software is appreciated.
Thank you all for your time consideration.
