TMS320C5517: McSPI usage 2

Part Number: TMS320C5517

Hi Champs,

Based on previous answer,

We have additional question from customer

1: EOT bit timing method.

They understand clock skip is able to detect EOT function.

However, we don't know this detail setting.

So, do you have any interrupt that synchronize to EOT bit changing ?

Or we would like to know such a information

"When xxx interrupt happen, EOT bit will be "1" (complete transmit) in xxx sec "

Or Could you please tell us any recommend to use EOT bit (error detection method) ?

2. How to reset bit count on the McSPI CS Active

   Currently, customer is using the most simple slave setting that is not using a FIFO and DMA

  At this environment , we have never seen bit count reset phenomenon that is commented by TI comment.

 So, Could you please tell us bit coun reset method in case of not using FIFO and DMA at slave ?

CCS/CC1352P: cc1352p GPIO Output error!

Part Number: CC1352P

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello sir!

I coding that below

Board_init();

/*==========================================*/
/* Audio AMP State check - Added by sklee */

pHandler = PIN_open(&pLedState, BoardGpioInitTable);

//PIN_setOutputEnable(pHandler, Board_PIN_LED0, true);
//PIN_setOutputEnable(pHandler, Board_PIN_LED1, true);

PIN_setOutputValue(pHandler, Board_PIN_LED0, 0);
PIN_setOutputValue(pHandler, Board_PIN_LED1, 1);

I thank that  PIN_setOutputValue(pHandler, Board_PIN_LED0, 0) is after Board_PIN_LED0 Port is 0V(between Port to Ground Voltage)

But Voltage is 2.5V(VCC is 3.3V) I don't understand that!

My circuit is VCC -> 1K Register -> LED -> Board_PIN_LED0 Port

So Board_PIN_LED0 Port output is low then LED is lighted,

But Port Voltage is 2.5V so LED is not light

I don't know what wrong!

Hi,

SimpleLink SensorTag Android App provides only the default CC2650 SensorTag FW file 1.50 (BLE).

Is there a way to select a different  FW file (a new version that was created by CCS)?

If no, is there an Android App that can download a selected FW file via the BLE interface?

Thanks,

LME49710HABD: LME49713 pin1 and pin8 No Connect - are these true NCs?

Part Number: LME49710HABD

I bought several LME49713 in the TO-99 case.  Pin 1 and Pin 8 are shown as NCs, and I want to use pin 1 to shorten the feedback path to pin 2.  The datasheet never listed if it was a true NC and I would like to get that verified before I commit to getting boards built.  While chatting with an engineer on an audio forum, he did some research but couldn't come up with a conclusive answer to help me out.

Hi team

           there is a unexpected undershoot in the output voltage waveform as the figure shown. the output voltage is 5V and the output current is about 200mA.the inductor 68uH and the output capacitor is 200uF.Yellow line is output voltage, and green line  is the input voltage .Blue line is the output current. What is the cause of this issue and how to solve it?

BQ40Z50-R2: FUSE pin pull-up current

$

Part Number: BQ40Z50-R2

We need some clarification as to the operation of the FUSE pin.  Looking at the simple FUSE drive circuit shown in Figure 2 of the data sheet (see below), there are a couple of questions:

  1. When is the 150 nA pull-up current applied and does this remain on during normal operation of the gauge?
  2. When the FUSEEN switch is open (i.e.gauge not driving FUSE output high), I assume the FUSE pin is not being actively driven low by the gauge, correct?.
    1. But if the 150 nA current source is on,  then the circuit must be relying on external resistance to ground to keep the voltage from floating high enough to trip the FUSEDIG comparator. Is this understanding correct?

Hi William Goh

I Test MSp430F5529 HID sample now.
and I use your software "USB HID Application"
TX OK & RX OK.

But when I use other HID driver like LibUsbDotNet.
Only TX OK, But RX fail.

even use the USBHID_sendDataInBackground() sand data to PC per 100mS.

SO I want to know on PC side software.

The RX behavior need always monitor??

and why your USB HID Application can Received the USBHID_sendDataInBackground() sand data??
But I use LibUsbDotNet dirver on C# can not Receied anything??

Thank you.

DRV8305-Q1: Problem With Driver Output

$

Part Number: DRV8305-Q1

Hello, to whom this may concern,
I am trying to develop a custom board using the DRV8305N and I'm facing some problems. Although nFault pin is high, I get no response on the output, except for a dc of 5.6v on every output pin.
Some infos about my hardware:

PVDD = 10v

INHA = PWM around 20kHz, 50% duty-cycle

INLA = INHB = INLB = INHC = INLC = 0 vols.

This setup consumes around 23 mA.

There's no Mosfet soldered yet, only the minimum hardware to get the driver working.

Please, I would like to understand what that means, I've tryed to apply 8v and 6v and all the outputs keep as 5.6v fixed. The driver emits a noise that resambles commutation, but there's no mosfet soldered, as I've said before.

TPS7B4253-Q1: High Accuracy LDO Application with Vref Less than Vout

Part Number: TPS7B4253-Q1

Hi Team,

In section 8.2.3 of the TPS7B4253-Q1 Datasheet it describes a high-accuracy LDO application using a reference at the ADJ pin, with the output tracking the the ADJ pin.  I'm just wondering what would be the accuracy performance if I want a higher Vout by adding the feedback resistors?

Assuming ideal resistors for now, would that just be the 4mV across multiplied by equation 2 on page 13?

Thanks for the help in advance,

Jerry

BQ76940: BMS battery cells proper connection

$

Part Number: BQ76940

Good day, I would like to ask if this is the proper orientation when I connect my 9S battery pack to the BMS board:

I used  http://www.ti.com/lit/df/tidr773/tidr773.pdf as reference and here is my schematic file /cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/196/1121.Schematic.rar I ask this because I tried to connect the battery cells this way, and couldn't power up the AFE and MCU.. after checking my board, it turns out that diode D19 has broken. I can see a hairline crack in the surface, and a connection test shows it as a short.

What could have been the reason this diode failed? I know that it was previously working, as when I didn't have my 9S battery pack yet, I can power up the AFE and MCU using a 9V source and three 220 ohm resistors to simulate the lower group of cells like this

Thank you very much,
Robert

THS4521-HT: The problem is that the output bias of ths4521 shkj

Part Number: THS4521-HT

The problem is that the output bias of ths4521 shkj is obviously larger than that of other normal ths4521 shkj chips when power is on. At the same time, the output of unstable ths4521 shkj chips with a lot of interference and effective signals is affected, which is equivalent to not working properly. After replacing another new ths4521 shkj chip, the output is normal and stable.

The fourth line of the test chart, the fourth channel test data, is that t he ths4521 shkj result is abnormal.

TPS56C215: Overvoltage protection

Part Number: TPS56C215

Hello team,

Let me ask about overvoltage protection(OVP) since I can't find the detail on the datasheet.
1) It looks to have two level of the overvoltage detection, out-of-bounds(OOB) at +8% and OVP at +21%, is it correct?
2) The datasheet says that it operates in FPWM mode only by turning on the LS-FET during the OOB. How does it work when the output hit OVP level?
3) If the OVP shuts down the switching, does it have a wait time and hiccup time such as UVP?

Thanks in advance.
