DS90UB953-Q1: How to strap into Coax mode on power-on?

Hello,

I have a design which implements the DS90UB953-Q1 however I am unable to establish a link over coax with the deserializer (DS90UB954-Q1) upon power-on due to the DS90UB953 powering up into "TP" mode instead of Coax mode.  I am having trouble locating any information in the datasheet which describes how to strap coax mode.  Curiously, this TP/coax mode configuration is not an issue when I use the DS90UB953-Q1EVM, as it appears to strap into coax mode.  Upon further inspection it appears the EVM is not using suggested strap resistors for neither the MODE nor IDX divider network.  Is this the reason the evaluation module is able to strap into coax mode?  Can TI please provide documentation for how to replicate this functionality?

Hi,

One of my customer met the problem when using the THS6212 and THS6214, and the problem shows as below:

THS6212& THS6214 test waveform is compared as follows:

From the test waveform , we can find that harmonics appears  in the high frequency part. but THS6214 has no! and I don't know why does this happen?

I also show the design schematic to you, and hope you can give some suggestion!

TIDA-00951 There are some questions about the design board.
The HV side FET is described as full bridge driven.
However, there is no working waveform for the FET when in charge mode.
Is it Phase Shift?
Or is it traditional Hard Switching?
And does the LV side FET operate with synchronous rectification?

Here is the Center tap question for Trans.
In the circuit diagram, it is connected to the center tap of Trans primary side and the capacitor center. What does it do?
Or what are the benefits?

Here are some questions about Boost Mode Working: Cold Start.
Can I remove the cold start circuit if the HV capacitor is always maintaining a voltage above 350V?

Hi, all.

I make Bluetooth Hid Keyboard and need some advise.

I use CC2541 and its my custom PCB.

My question is it :

I want to scan other devices when it connected one device.

For example, I connect my Keyboard to PC, and when I press button, I can find my keyboard in iPhone and connect to that.

Then when I type keyboard, it is typed on iPhone(not PC).

Is it possible? If so, how can I do that?

Would you mind if we ask DP83848K?

The customer has question about "Harmonic of 10Base-T compliance test".

In this test, they need all "1" or "0" output data for the test.
They also need random pattern output for Template Test.
Is it possible to configure followings using register settings?
-All "1" or "0" output data
-Random pattern output

We know DP83822 is possible to configure these.

Hi team,

i want to know how it  is possible 100% duty cycle for the DC-DC buck converter like tps54260?. if d=1 then mosfet will remains on and there will drop in Rds(on) and energy stored in inductor is not free wheel anywhere which will leads in the unstable operation. so, could you please explain me the reason?.

Is there any limitation on the input voltage slew rate to the MR pin?

If the input voltage rise to /MR pin is slow,
Customer is concerned that RSET signals will be unstable.

Dear TI Team,

 

I have designed a Fly-buck converter (based on LM5160-Q1) using Webench Design Tool. The application is Auxiliary Power Supply for Hybrid Solar PV Inverter. The input voltage range is 44V to 54V (actually a 48V battery). The regulated isolated output voltage required is 15V (Vout_iso). The output current is Io=1.5A. The design file is here ((Please visit the site to view this file)). My question is how to connect Wurth Electronics 749196541 transformer (T1) to obtain Lp=68.4 uH ? It has triple primary and triple secondary winding. The datasheet of this transformer is here, ((Please visit the site to view this file)). I request you to give me the connection diagram to apply this transformer for Fly-buck configuration. Do we need to connect all primary windings in series and secondary windings in series?

Please also go through the design and confirm that the Webench design does not require any modification. I will straightway implement this design in hardware.

I was going through the data sheet TMS570LC4357 Hercules. They attached certificate documents for CAN and other protocols.

I see the same missing with TMS320F28379D data sheet, why it so? product not qualified for industrial or automotive grade and still got used up in the real world

does the product is still in the qualification process for getting used in the real world applications? or is it a documentation problem
