Part Number:THVD1551

Hi,

It is well known that electronic products need to be tested before leaving the factory.When I took an electrostatic gun and performed an ESD contact discharge test on the unshielded communication bus of the THVD1551 chip, the 6KV ESD contact discharge caused some errors in the data at the receiving end.Is the experiment I described above different from your?What test specifications should I follow in order to make the test result close to the 18KV ESD contact discharge?Please correct my test error.

PGA305: Registers assigned both DI Page / Offset and EEPROM addresses

Part Number:PGA305

Dear Suport team,

In case of registers to which both DI Page / Offset and EEPROM addresses are assigned, such as DAC_CONFIG,

Q1. When writing to the register (Page / Offset = 0x2 / 0x39), will the contents of EPROM (0x40000032) be rewritten?
Or is the EEPROM write to the procedure of 7.3.16.1.2 to the end?

Q2. What happens to the device operation when the data written to the register (Page / Offset) and the EEPROM are different?

Best Regards,
Hirokazu Takahashi

Part Number:LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

Hi all,

We found that there are two way to change the TX power. Please refer to the following information.

But these two methods have the different power levels. One can reach -127dbm ~ +127dbm, and the other one only reach  -21dbm ~5dbm.

Could you help to provide some explanations to us?

1. To add GAP_ADTYPE_POWER_LEVEL Into advertData[] or scanRspData[],

/// TX Power Level: 0xXX: -127 to +127 dBm

#define GAP_ADTYPE_POWER_LEVEL

2. Use HCI_EXT_SetTxPowerCmd(HCI_EXT_TX_POWER_5_DBM) function.

#define HCI_EXT_TX_POWER_MINUS_21_DBM LL_EXT_TX_POWER_MINUS_21_DBM //!< -21 dBm
#define HCI_EXT_TX_POWER_MINUS_18_DBM LL_EXT_TX_POWER_MINUS_18_DBM //!< -18 dBm
#define HCI_EXT_TX_POWER_MINUS_15_DBM LL_EXT_TX_POWER_MINUS_15_DBM //!< -15 dBm
#define HCI_EXT_TX_POWER_MINUS_12_DBM LL_EXT_TX_POWER_MINUS_12_DBM //!< -12 dBm
#define HCI_EXT_TX_POWER_MINUS_9_DBM LL_EXT_TX_POWER_MINUS_9_DBM //!< 9 dBm
#define HCI_EXT_TX_POWER_MINUS_6_DBM LL_EXT_TX_POWER_MINUS_6_DBM //!< 6 dBm
#define HCI_EXT_TX_POWER_MINUS_3_DBM LL_EXT_TX_POWER_MINUS_3_DBM //!< 3 dBm
#define HCI_EXT_TX_POWER_0_DBM LL_EXT_TX_POWER_0_DBM //!< 0 dBm
#define HCI_EXT_TX_POWER_1_DBM LL_EXT_TX_POWER_1_DBM //!< 1 dBm
#define HCI_EXT_TX_POWER_2_DBM LL_EXT_TX_POWER_2_DBM //!< 2 dBm
#define HCI_EXT_TX_POWER_3_DBM LL_EXT_TX_POWER_3_DBM //!< 3 dBm
#define HCI_EXT_TX_POWER_4_DBM LL_EXT_TX_POWER_4_DBM //!< 4 dBm
#define HCI_EXT_TX_POWER_5_DBM LL_EXT_TX_POWER_5_DBM //!< 5 dBm

Thanks.

Part Number:CC2640R2F-Q1

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

Hi Everyone,

I am working on a ARM Cortex M3 processor device with ti compiler v 16.9.6.

I am trying to compile a source file which contains include path <ti\drivers\ADC.h> throgh command line. The compilation output shows up an error stating that it is not able to open source file <ti\drivers\ADC.h> even though i have included the full path for ADC.h file in compilation command. How CCS IDE is able to reslove ti\drivers\ADC.h path in any source file.

If i am compiling a file without <ti\drivers\..> includes the compilers compiles successfully without any error.

1. A cell's operating temperature is 0~45 degree C.

   My battery pack vendor suggest me to set the UTC  -5 degree ℃ , and T1  0 ℃; OTC 50  ℃ and T4 45  ℃

   Is it correct? ( it aleady over the cell's spec on UTC and OTC)

   If I set T1 0 ℃ & T4 45 ℃, Is charging is allowed while themperature is  0 ℃ or 45 ℃?

   (I found that CellTemp report 45 ℃ but the charging function still working.)

2. My system is a tablate with x86 plateform, what firmware version is suggest?

     If I use R1 version, will  be any bugs happened?

3. The typical precharging current is 500mA of charging IC,BQ24725

        If I set the Pre-Charging to 200mA, Will the current down to 200mA

4. I don't see any information of  Maintenance Charging current in charging IC ,BQ24725

    can the  charging IC recognize it and run it?

Tool/software: Linux

Hi,

Using BQ25703A IC to connect the battery for our AM5728 Yocto PSDK - 04.02

I saw the forums and came to know there is no specific driver for this IC from TI.

Refereed the below link :

https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromiumos/platform/ec/+/master/driver/charger

I need Two functionalities from the BQ25703A IC as follows at OS run time :

1. Need to know the percentage of battery level form BQ25703A

2. Need to know whether the battery is charging or not.

Can you please tell me the registers which need to be accessed form the software to get these functionalities.

Part Number:UCD9248

Hello,
I am looking into possible sources of errors on my board that uses two UCD9248 along with PTD08D210W modules.

I am powering UCD9248s from external 3.3V power supply - is it safe for the chip, if this voltage, that supplies V33DIO, V33D and V33A, appears after voltage to Vin pin is applied (via 10k/2k divider from 12V)?

Thank you for your help,

Karol

However, looking at the circuit diagram of the connected location is so complicated that I can't even imagine it.

In the case of RF430-TMPSNS-EVM, I wonder how it was programmed.

Hi,

I have custom CC1310F32RHB and running I2C example.

This doesn't seem to be happening.

            GPIO_write(Board_GPIO_GLED, Board_GPIO_LED_ON);
            // Sleep inside a task for 800 milliseconds(0.8s)
            Task_sleep(8000000/Clock_tickPeriod);
            GPIO_write(Board_GPIO_GLED, Board_GPIO_LED_OFF);

In the Board.h file Board_GPIO_GLED is assigned to CC1310_LAUNCHXL_GPIO_LED_GED and In the CC1310LAUNCHXL.h file CC1310_LAUNCHXL_GPIO_LED_GED is declared under the CC1310_LAUNCHXL_GPIOName.

I have defined the LED pins as

#define CC1310_LAUNCHXL_PIN_RLED          IOID_9 /* IOID_6 */
#define CC1310_LAUNCHXL_PIN_GLED          IOID_10 /* IOID_7 */

2) Reporting interval

3)Config message

4) Tracking message

5) Association concept

6) Broadcast message

can collector and sensor can communicate without all parameter, which parameters are mandatory and which we can remove?

how it depends on each other?

Thanks.
