DRV8860: Daisy chain limitations and timing

I am looking to daisy chain some DRV8860 chips. I have a few questions...

1. Is there a maximum number you can daisy chain?

2. For the timing constraints in section 7.6, the latch to clk time (th) is 1 uS. Is that the delay I need to give it before the clk signal is generated? 

3. For the CLK high and low time, it says a minimum of 2.5 uS. Does that mean I can go no slower than 400 Khz on the clk?

4. Are there any timing constraints when daisy chaining?

I need isolation amplifier (follower)  to transfer 1...2V DC voltage. I have two unipolar power supplies +5V-1 and +5V-2.  These power supplies isolated from each other.  Can I use ISO122?   Can you recommend another amplifier?

CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL: Programming the flash using UniFlash

Hi,

I'm using MQTT client exmaple and CCS and it works very well. I need to program the flash memory so the device starts to boot up once the power is available. When I use UniFlash, it reads the program load completed successfully but the device is not operating. Here is some snapshots:

I assume it has to do something with UniFlash setup.

CC3220MODA: RSSI strength for each channel

Our customer would like to know the RSSI strength for each channel simultaneously to find out the lower power channel in the area.

Do we have a such feature available with CC3220MODA?
If not, i would like to know any alternatives.

Here is my schematic diagram. Please check if there is any problem.

I did an experiment to connect the IIC of the demo board of TAS5411 to TP80 and TP81 of I2C in the figure below, so that the I2C bus is equivalent to the 5411 and 5411 of our DEMO board in parallel. At this time, our 4G module can read DEMO 5411 through I2C. I measured the pin level of our 5411 and demo are the same. Please help check where our circuit is wrong. Thank you!

The bottom figure is the I2C waveform with abnormal communication with our board 5411. The address has been sent 0x6c, write data, no response. These waveforms are correct, the normal power amplifier should return to ACK, but there is no ACK.

AWR1843: "system spec document" in Radar Hardware Accelerator SWRU526

When calculating the selection of 61088 DCDC, we encounter the following problems. Please help us to solve them.

1. The inductance selection is calculated according to spec formula at least 5.1uH, but the inductance simulated by WEBENCH is 2.2uH. Which type should I choose?

2. The selection of capacitance is calculated by spec formula at least 20uF, but the capacitance simulated by WEBENCH is 15+6.8uF. Which type should I choose?

3. Please help to calculate the resistance and capacitance of the comp pin according to the current, voltage and frequency requirements in the table below. Thank you.

I"m trying to connect to board DM8127 (Camera Starter Kit). but when I test connection on CCS v8, this message appeared:

I tried to follow some instructions about FTDI driver ,but seem it doesn't work. This is what  was shown when I run FT - PROG : 

i have tried to apply a new template to this device  (namely FT222H). Could this be the reason for all of my trouble ?

SIR,

I AM GOING TO SWITCH FROM THE UCC28950 TO THE UCC28951-Q1 DUE TO THE UVLO.  I WOULD LIKE TO ASK A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS REGARDING THE UCC28951-Q1 IC.

I have seen in the forum the following statement:

"If there is no input voltage to the power train and VCC is applied to the UCC28951-Q1 controller then the OUTA, OUTB, OUTC and OUTD signals will be present. Each of them will be at 50% duty cycle - less a little to allow for the dead times you have programmed. The controller will operate at Dmax because the output is below its set-point."

I BELIEVE I UNDERSTAND THAT STATEMENT.

I AM IN THE PROCESS OF A DESIGN THAT WILL NOT BE USING THE SR PINS AT FIRST,WILL USE SCHOTTKY DIODES IN THE OUTPUT STAGE. 

Vin = 150V, Pout = 600W, Vout = 27V,

Question #1  --  IF I AM NOT GOING TO USE THE SR OUTPUT (Pin #18 Out E and Pin #17 Out F), DO I STILL NEED TO INSTALL THE COMPONENTS FOR, I BELIEVE, Pin #14 ADELEF?  SAME QUESTION FOR Pin # 8 DELEF.  I CAN ADD THESE LATER IF IT IS DECIDED?  YES / NO?

Question #2  --  FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND THE SAME TI EXCEL SPREADSHEET FOR THE UCC28950 IC  IS THE SAME SPREADSHEET USED FOR THE UCC28951-Q1 IC?

Question #3  --  IS THERE SOME FORM OF LITERATURE WHICH MIGHT GUIDE ME IN SOME OF THE CRITICAL VOLTAGES WHICH I WOULD NEED TO BE AWARE OF BEFORE I APPLY VOLTAGE TO THE POWER TRAIN?

Question #4  --  JUST TO FIRE UP THE SIGNAL CIRCUIT, IS THE CURRENT SENSE CIRCUITRY REQUIRED FOR Pin #15 CS?  I DON'T SEE WHERE IT WOULD MATTER UNTIL VOLTAGE IS APPLIED TO THE POWER TRAIN.

Question #5  --  WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO SUGGEST A COMFORTABLE SOFT-START TME AND POSSIBLY DELAY TIME FOR Pin #6 & 7?  MAYBE A BALLPARK FIGURE JUST TO GET THE SIGNAL BOARD UP AND RUNNING?

Hello everyone. I am using AWR1642BOOST. I've written a simple code for working with arm core. According to the mmwave sdk user guide:
"Application should call init APIs for the following system modules (ESM, SOC, Pinmux) to enable correct operation of the device".
"ESM_init should be the first function that is called by the application in its main()."
So based on these hints, I've called first ESM_init(0), but the error below appears in CCS (Code Composer Studio 8.2.0):

Also I should mention that I've added related header file, "#include <ti/drivers/esm/esm.h>" in my code and the directory "F:\ti\mmwave_sdk_02_01_00_04\packages" as the search path to "Include Options" Arm Compiler options.
I would be grateful if you could help me to resolve the problem.

Hello.

I'm working on a code for UART communication on MSP430FR2355. To check the data changing dynamically, i"m using a Hardware breakpoint with  configuration "Refresh all windows". 

I'm confused with the exact time to apply the breakpoint:

1.When i have written the program

2.When i have burnt/debugged the program on mirocontroller.

3.When i have Run the program after burning.

Please tell me when to apply breakpoint so that it works and doesn't throws any error.

in the driver program(fpgaload.c), when probe, I get gpio number with function of_get_named_gpio( node,"fpga,nSTATUS",0), the function return -2.  I  try  gpio_request( 5*32+8,"nSTATUS") ,it is also return fail with -517. I check the .dts file and cann't find problem. I attach the dts and driver program here. Is there a wrong in driver program or error(s) in the .dts file?

SN74LVC244A: Octal Buffer or Driver

Hello,

The item (as many other items of TI as I've noticed) datasheet declares the following:

"OE should be tied to VCC through a pullup resistor to ensure the high impedance

state during power up or power down; the minimum value of the resistor is determined by the current sinking

capability of the driver."

Is it necessary to connect the OEn to a pullup resistor? it requires some logic to pull it low after power up, which complicates the design.

What voltage value can be generated at the output if don't do so (can it damage the receiver device)?

The Item datasheet doesn't mention the output impedance of the driver.

It is common to add a series termination at the output of the transmitter to achieve a total 50ohm, when dealing with relativelly fast signals,

how can I obtain the value?

(Same thing about the SN65LBC175)

TLA2024: IIC communication failed

 Hi sir

I used msp430f2001 to control ATL2021, but found that IIC could not communicate. I observed the waveform through an oscilloscope and determined that the device returned a high level.However, there is no problem with my device address and waveform timing sequence. Could you help me analyze the cause of the problem?

I2C configuration is below.
Sleve Addr : 48h (ADDR Pin : GND)

 Vdd : 4.0V
 I2C BUS Pull-up Resistor : 2.4K Ohm

RTOS/CC1352P: Getting NVS_STATUS_ERROR when writing to CCFG

Hi,

I need to update the CCFG area from my application and when NVS_write I am getting NVS_STATUS_ERROR.

This actually works fine when I run with the debugger, its only when I run a formal release with my boot loader that this problem occurs. 

Also If I burn a version that runs without the bootloader it also works...my bootloader doesn't actually do anything apart from check that my application is valid and jumps to it. 

The problem is that the erase works, so my CCFG area becomes default and my application does not boot anymore. 

Any ideas?
