SRAM Initialization

I am using LM4F232H5QD evaluation board. What I would like to do is reserve a section of SRAM to store specific parameters in a non-volatile manner. After reset or power up the SRAM is cleared to zero. Is there a way to specify not to clear the reserved section I created?
