Part Number:DM385
Dear,
We're planning to capture a larger video, and want to use the "Unlimited Line Size" and "Unlimited Frame Size" setting of the VPDMA.
As in the "Table 1-81. Data Packet Descriptor Word 5 Outbound Data Field Descriptions" of the datasheet:
for Max Width:
"If Max Width is 0 and the line size is larger then 4096 pixels then the address counters will overflow and the data at the start of the line will be overwritten."
Question 1:
If we input a video with width 3000 pixels, can we got a complete line ?
for Max Height:
No clear description about the max allowed height in the datasheet, let us assume the max allowed height is N, with index 0, 1, ... N-1.
Quesetion 2:
Max Height N = ?
If we input a video with height N+1, where the last line to go? go into the start address of the first line(index 0), or append to the last pixel of line N-1 ?
Queset 3:
If we input a video with size WxH = 3000x2000, 10frames/second, can we got the complete video data?
(it means the above video can pass through VIP corrently, and captured by VPDMA corretly, and finally placed to DDR memory correctly).
Thank you!
