Active USB 3.0 cable with two sn65LVPE502

Hello,

I'd like to know whether it's possible to use two sn65lvpe502 devices to build an active USB 3.0 cable. The idea is to re-drive the signals from both host and device side. The signal quality would rely only on the two sn65lvpe502 devices and could be optimized for the specific cable used (to maximize the length):

Host <--- sn65lvpe502 --- cable --- sn65lvpe502 ---> Device

Thunderbolt cables use a configuration like this, but I didn't find any indication in the sn65lvpe502's datasheet.
