Part Number:CC2640
I am currently using a CC2640 PCB connected to a Bluetooth tester with a coaxial cable.
From the PCB, I am transmitting 3dbm, 4dbm, and 5dbm Bluetooth signals to the Bluetooth tester.
I am changing the temperature between -40C and 85C.
When transmitting 3dbm and 5dbm signals, the trends are the same. (Bluetooth tester received a stronger signal when temperature was low, weaker signal when temperature was high)
But when transmitting a 4dbm signal, the Bluetooth tester received a weaker signal when temperature was low, and signal similar to room temperature when temperature was high.
I have done the same test for 2 different PCBs, both having the same results.
Is this related to the Integrated Temperature Sensor in the CC2640? I have not set my PCB to fiddle with the Temperature Sensor nor have I set my code up for that sensor, so I was not sure if the sensor will just turn on/off when it senses a certain temperature at a certain signal strength.
