I have a question about the SMBus Interface of DS64BR401.
One of the difference between SMBus and I2C is the TIMEOUT Function.
(SCLK kept low for more than 25ms)
Q1) Does DS64BR401 have this TIMEOUT function ?
Q2) What happens when DS64BR401 SMBus was timeout ? Does it reset SMBus communication ?
Q3 ) Would there be a case that register would be reset to default at SMBus timeout ?
I believe registers would not get changed.
Q4) What happens to the high speed differential output signal when SMBus timeout ?
I think, as the registers are not disturbed, also the output signal would not be disturbed.
