How to integrate a custom iUniversal algorithm into the RPE of DVRRDK?

Hi,

I am trying to integrate an iuniversal algorithm to the rpe system of DVRRDK 3.50 (for TI8168), and yet I have a hardtime in dealing with the xDC-tool, which is used for packaging.

By referring to Codec Engine Algorithm Creator User's Guide and Getting started with IUNIVERSAL, I've modified the sourse files and head files and successfully compiled in the EZSDK.  Also, the execution of iuniversal-test seems successful at the EVM8168 with Codec Engine @ EZSDK.  In other words, I followed the structions and finally successfully integrate an iUniversal algorithm to the Codec Engine in EZSDK.

However, when I tried to integrate the same xDM algorithm into the rpe system of DVRRDK, there are little technical documents or notes which are highly related to this issue.  Could you help me and give me some tips to the questions below?

   1. As far as I know, there is no definition with RPE_TI_IUNIVERSAL_CLASS in "rpe/remote-processor-execute/src/config/class_def.h".  Is it feasible to integrate an xDM-compliant iUniversal algorithm to the RPE system in DVRRDK?

  2. If I tend to execute some custom algorithm on the DSP in DM8168 with DVRRDK, would it be convenient to using the rpe-framework?

  3. Where could I define a name like "AACDEC_TII_IAACDEC" for the custom algorithm when using the xDC?  Obviously, the name "AACDEC_TII_IAACDEC", which was referred in server_config_c67x.c, differed from the module name "AACLCDEC".

I am sincerely looking forward to your reply.
