Question about MSP430 and Bluetooth

Hi,

I am looking for a low power development board of Bluetooth and microcontroller. This board need to work of few weeks by coin battery or rechargeable Lithium.

My target is to have the ability to transfer  data from mobile  to the microcontroller and back via Bluetooth or BLE  ( I  only need to transfer a byte from mobile to microcontroller  one in a few sec and return acknowledge) .

• I  plan to use  SPP  protocol to that ( if you have a better idea we will be more than happy to hear).

I have the MSP430 Launch pad but know , also I  have a CC2541 sensor tag development kit (but I think it is only a transmitter and nor programmable).

• I found the eZ430-RF2500 Development Tool and eZ430-RF2500-SEH, but we could not understand if we can program  eZ430-RF2500 Battery Board for our on FW or this board only connecting to the other board?  
  • Can we use this board for our purpose
    • Serial data will be send from my android/Iphone  to the  MSP430 via the Bluetooth on the board.

• Also, Do you have another low power board with MSP430 and Bluetooth  similar to eZ430-RF2500 Battery Board we can program.

    • We have   CC2541 SensorTag Development Kit .
    • Does the CC2541 kit is just a transmitter?
