I just received my AM335x starter kit and followed the directions in the quick start guide, but once I hit step 7, booting the OS, nothing ever comes up on screen. I see that the screen is backlit so it at least has power, but there is no post, no bootstrap and no UI. It remains blank no matter what you (menu, home, back and search buttons do nothing for Android, and the warm reset has no effect on either OS. I'm guessing I just got a bad unit, but I would have thought they would have at least posted the unit before shipping.
The quick start guide makes it seem as if some demo should have come up. I looking at my DHCP server it appears it made no attempt to gain an IP address either. Has anyone else seen this out of the box? Is there any remedy for this or is it just a situation where I have to send it back and have them issue another unit?
