WL18xxMOD Certification

Hi,

I have a question about the FCC certification of the TI WiFi and Bluetooth Module WL1835MOD/WL1831MOD/WL1805MOD/WL1801MOD. It looks like the module won't need to be re-certified if the antenna used is one of these:

Antenna TypeBrandAntenna gain 2.4GHz~2.5GHz(dBi)Part number(for reference only)
PCBEthertronics-0.61000423
DipoleLSR2001-0012
PCBLaird2CAF94505
ChipPulse3.2W3006
PIFALSR2001-0016
ChipTDK2.4ANT016008

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/WL18xxMOD_Regulatory_Product_Certification#Certified_antenna_types

But the FCC test report (Report No. : FR383067C) says that the Chip antennas used for the test are 1.22 dBi and -0.36 dBi

https://fccid.io/document.php?id=2114442

So if I use a 3dBi chip antenna am I going to break the FCC grant?

Thank you,

Salvo
