CCS Simulation support in future

Our customer wants to use the optimization tools using simulator such as follows.

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Cache_Analysis_Using_Simulator

CCSv6 does not have any simulators. On the other hand, CCSv5 has many simulators.

If CCSv5 is used, can the support for simulators be got in future? If not so, is there solution not using simulator for optimization?
