Gain issue of BUF634 when connected to a 100 Ohm load

Hi,

I just brought a BUF634 to separate my power source and load and when I tested the buffer I found that when I connected a 100 Ohm resistor as the load, the gain was only 0.1.  However, when I use a 20 kOhm resistor (nearly open) the gain was 1.  My connection follows figure 19 in the datasheet (shown as below, Rs=50 Ohm) except I directly connected the BW pin to -V rail.  My input was a DC power source of 10 V.  Is there anything wrong with my connection?

The second question is about the maximum inrush current and voltage that the buffer can endure?  Say, I have an inductive load and when switching off there will be back emf and current go through the output of the buffer.  I am going to use MOV to suppress the back emf.
