Hi Everybody,
We have design a custom board with TMS320C6748 DSP for one of our project.
Using CCS5.1 for code development and using XDS100v2 USB JTAG Emulator.
In debug version, I am able test the UART0 and SRAM interface.
Both these are working fine. Also I have tested the UART0 boot method with TI?s AISgen tool and its working fine.
I have NOR flash (M29W640GT70NA6E) on the board and tested it separately in debug mode by writing drivers it is working fine.
Now, want to flash my code using TI's utility
I tried as per the guidelines,

but I got error in loading the flash ais image.
I have followed the following procedure mentioned below..
1. Build the output file in CCS for simple uart transmit and receive application.
2. Generated the AIS image using AISgen tool.
3. Flashing the image file in command window with command "sfh_OMAP-L138 -flash_noubl -targetType C6748 -flashType NOR -v -p COM1 Falsh_ais.bin"
4. Simple erase command is also not working
5. One thing I noticed is that I didn't fine the any sft file 'sft_OMAP-L138.exe' in folder ...OMAP-L138\GNU,
is this must? where as i found other files like sfh, slh exe's in the same folder.
The bootme has happened properly but it hangs at
"Waiting for SFT on the OMAP-L138... "
I have attached the files that can be analyzed for this.
Please let me know the reason, I am struck here.
Also please let me know if there is any flash programming utility through JTAG.
