Part Number: BQ25601
Dear Team,
I'm experimenting with a BQ25601 charger IC to be suitable for our application. One of the problems I'm experiencing right now is to prevent the output voltage to fall below 3.5V (the cellular radio module depending on the board variant needs 3.2 or 3.5V) I'm really flexible with the solutions, but trying to use as much as possible from what I have right now.
I came up with the following:
1) step up the voltage on VSYS by external DC-DC converter (the simplest one)
2) shut down the SYS when it falls below 3.5V. Does BQ25601 allow for changing the voltage at which SYS shuts down? Right now on my test setup it was around 2.5V.
3) use another charger IC, with either an output step up converter, or, if 2 is not applicable with changeable shutdown voltage. Would you recommend some part with that kind of feature as a replacement?
