Disabling instruction cache in FRAM controller for Rad-Tolerant application

I read somewhere that the instruction cache (two sets of two 64bits cache) in the FRAM controller is SRAM based.  I am using the MSP430FRxx in a radiation environment and wanted to turn the cache off to prevent upsets.  Is there a way to do this?
