Hi guys
I'm highly frastrated about flashing some application to the Logic PD EVM board with C6748 on it. These are my steps to fulfil this task based on the led blinking lab from Student Workshop Guide rev 6.67:
1. Build blinkLed application and get *.out file. If I load this file using XDS100 JTAG I see the LED blinking - no surprise at all =))))
2. As I've found out after reading memory at offset 0x11700000 my current silicon revision is d800k008, that's why I donwloaded the respective AISgen tool for it.
3. As mentioned here http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/BIOS_C6SDK_2.0_User_Guide#.C2.A0_How_to_Flash_Face_detect_demo_on_EVMC6748, I use c6sdk_02_00_00_00\demos\flash\evmC6748 and open EVMC6748_AISGen_Config.cfg configuration for AISgen. The only thing here which I modify is the type of Flash : from NAND to SPI1 Flash.
4. After converting *out to *.bin I load SPIWriter program (from Workshop Lab13 ) via JTAG and specify the path to the converted binary and after 15-20 seconds I get a success message.
5. Then I stop running SPIwriter, power-off the target board, setup SW7 switches to start from the SPI flash and finally power on the board.
6. As a result I don't see any blinking :(
Do you see any obvious issue in my steps? Could you please share me some simple *out, AISgen cfg and SPIWriter *.out to bring my board alive.
Actually I'm running out ideas to try, so looking forward to any help from your side.
