What is the justification for using a 6.3V capacitor for C7 on the DS90UB953-Q1EVM? I'm confused by the design choice to use a MuRata GRM033R60J333KE01D capacitor for C7 when the voltage rating for this part is 6.3V. Given that the Absolute maximum rating for the DOUT+/- lines is 1.2V, and the Power over Coax (PoC) voltage being provided by the DS90UB954-Q1EVM (Deserializer) is 9V, I dont understand how C7 will be operating within its specifications given that it would be seeing ~7.8V in a more optimistic scenario. Am I misunderstanding how this circuit works?
Is this capacitor (C7) the primary limitation to increasing the supplied PoC voltage beyond 9V? Are there other design considerations that need to be made for using a PoC voltage of, say, 18V?
