I would like to prototype the LM5116 using the attached board using conventional thru-hole components. What type of complications might I have in doing so? Or is it necessary to use SMD components and your LM5116BUCKEVM-BLDT board?
I have no experience with SMD components but have watched several videos on the soldering of these type components. The videos suggest the use of a re-flow solder unit which cost around $240.00.
Will I face a series of problems using the attached prototype board and what are some of these problems.
