I have been reviewing the errata document (SWRZ085) published last September associated with the CC2640R2F SoC. In trying to determine the chip hardware revision, I am getting apparently contradictory information.
If I use the suggested software-based approach - calling the ChipInfo_GetHwRevision() function using the latest SimpleLink SDK (v2.30.00.28) - I get a returned value of HWREV_1_0.
If I use the latest version of Smart RF Studio 7 (v2.12.0), the reported chip hardware revision is rev F (2.5).
Which of these is correct? If they are both correct, what's the difference between the two?
