Hello,
I have my PCM5242EVM module here. First test is to get simple USB Audio Passthrough to the outputs.
I understand that there is a "TIDA-00385" which was a development platform similar to the PCM5242EVM. And that the instructions here will help me get it configured for basic USB Audio Passthrough.
I found that Jumpers J7-J9 were not on the PCM5242 but are listed in the user manual for the other device. So I assume they are "shorted" as listed in the user guide.
At the end of the user guide it says "3.7 The board is now configured and should be correctly setup and should play audio sourced from your computer. If you unplug the board you will have to run through this procedure again."However, I can not get any sound out of the device.
I requested access to the purepath studio. Is it possible that I need to have Purepath Studio in order to complete this simple test? Are there any other documents I should be working with to figure this out?
