UCC21520: Full Bridge Inverter Secondary Voltage Supply Question

Part Number:UCC21520

Hello TI community,

I am currently trying to drive a full bridge inverter. The voltage being drain of the high side power mosfets will be up to 170 Vdc. I am hoping to power the controller and gate driver circuitry with a 12 V battery. I feel this IC will be suitable for my purposes. I am having some issues understanding the pin connections though.

So for some context, I am advised by my teammates to take into account power / signal isolation to protect the microcontroller.

Specifically, my question is regarding the VDDA and VDDB pins. I am currently thinking of connecting a dc-dc isolation converter between the battery and these pins. What I am confused is, am I suppose to connect the grounding / reference pin of the dc-dc isolation converter to the VSSA and VSSB pins? The reason why I am going to use a dc-dc isolation converter is because the battery that will supply these chips will also be supplying power to my microcontroller and I feel the isolation will add to the protection of the controller circuitry.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Suggestions even into other chips that you feel would do the job better would be nice as well. Please let me know if there is any clarification you'd like as well.

Part Number:TVP5158

Tool/software: Linux

Hi team,

My product is 4-Ch Line-Interleaved Mode, and 4-Ch Half-D1 Format, thus, OCLK is 54 MHz.

However, I measured the OCLK_P waveform, then, the waveform is a Sine-Wave instead of Square-Wave.

My question is: why is it a Sine-Wave? Thanks

CC8530: Slave volume control issue

Part Number:CC8530

Hi

I'm using CC8530 on my board.

MIC is protocol master and Speaker is protocol slave. and Speaker's CC8530 is host control mode.

How could I change remote volume in slave protocol ?

I already tried to change volume by using VC_SET_VOLUME(EHIF funtion) in slave protocol.

and then I tried to check volume value by using VC_GET_VOLUME. but value did not change.

Is there some way to control remote volume in slave protocol?

Please give me details.

Thank you. Bye

Hi Sir,

I would like to use AM5706/8 in a cable tester application. And I have a few questions need your help and advise

1. Is AM5706/8 support MIPI DSI?

2. Is AM5706/8 can do FFT calculation?

3. By using ARM and DSP, which one have a faster calculation speed for FFT?

4. What is DMIPS? And what is the importance or DMIPS in a Processor?

Hope to hear from you soon!

Thanks and best regards,

KH

RTOS/AM6548: Is a IPC Notify-Event same type of event as a TI-RTOS (SYSBIOS) Event?

$

0

Part Number:AM6548

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

I use the IPC Notify module to send an IPC notification from one CPU core to the other. Both cores use SYSBIOS (TI-RTOS).

On the receiving core a callback function is triggered, called by IPC in ISR context.

But I want to wake up a SYSBIOS task.

Question:

Can I use the eventID defined by IPC also for a SYSBIOS Event_pend() wait call?

Or are the IPC events completely independent from the SYSBIOS types of enevts?

In the latter case, I need to post a semaphore in the ISR callback (or post a SYSBIOS event).

Best regards,

Ruediger

CC1125: Trying to read CHFILT registers with interrupt

$

Part Number:CC1125

We have been using the CC1125 for a long time in a project with great success, so we have good experience with this chip.

But now, we want to read the CHFILT registers for calculations in our MCU, and therefore get an interrupt on new CHFILT sample.

Looking in the CC1125 User Guide (SWRU295E) Table 10, we find that setting IOCFG3 to 40, should generate an interrupt on GPIO3 on a New channel filter sample.

But we do not get any interrupt on this pin.

If we read the MARCSTATE register, we can see that the CC1125 is indeed in RX mode.

Can someone please help, either by posting what registers etc. need to be set to what value, or what could prevent the interrupt from happening ?

Thank you.

Dear Sir

1. I am trying to integrate the BMI 160 with AoA sender and encounter following reference issues.

I added following path

and include following header files (\TI_AoA\source\ti\drivers\i2cbmi160\bmi160_support.c).

2. Is there any SOP for integrate the sensor driver into AoA sender?

Is following step correct so far?

I try to add the BMI160 driver into the aoa sender project Driver folder as following,

Copy the content of mainThread from i2cbmi160.c to AoA sender main function (TI_AoA\aoa_sender_cc2640r2lp_app\Startup\main.c) in order to execute the aoa and bmi 160 driver at same time.

-----------------------------------------------

AoASender_createTask();

//GPIO_init();
//I2C_init();

I2C_Handle i2ca;
I2C_Params i2cParamsa;
//Display_Handle display;

/* Open the HOST display for output */
dispHandle = Display_open(Display_Type_UART, NULL);
if (dispHandle == NULL) {
while (1);
}
Display_print0(dispHandle, 0, 0, "Starting the i2cbmi160 sensor example...\n\n");

I2C_Params_init(&i2cParamsa);
i2cParamsa.bitRate = I2C_400kHz;
i2cParamsa.transferMode = I2C_MODE_BLOCKING;
i2cParamsa.transferCallbackFxn = NULL;
i2ca = I2C_open(Board_I2C0, &i2cParamsa);
if (i2ca == NULL) {
Display_print0(dispHandle, 0, 0, "Error Initializing I2C\n");
}
else {
Display_print0(dispHandle, 0, 0, "I2C Initialized!\n");
}

bmi160_initialize_sensor(i2ca);

/* enable interrupts and start SYS/BIOS */

BIOS_start();

return 0;

Part Number:MSP430F5659

Hi all,

I am connected a switch (on/off switch) with a custom board board of MSP430F5659. The interrupt configured for this is in HIGH_TO_LOW transition,

But interrupt takes place int both edges. The scenario is like when the switch is on one interrupt generated, when the switch turned  off there also a interrupt generated.

What may be the reason for that, Kindly Help

Attaching my code

int main(void)
{

//clock() 8MHz

    GPIO_setAsInputPinWithPullUpResistor(GPIO_PORT_P4,GPIO_PIN4);
    GPIO_enableInterrupt(GPIO_PORT_P4,GPIO_PIN4);
    GPIO_selectInterruptEdge(GPIO_PORT_P4,GPIO_PIN4,GPIO_HIGH_TO_LOW_TRANSITION);
    GPIO_clearInterrupt(GPIO_PORT_P4,GPIO_PIN4);

while(1)

{

}

}

#pragma vector=PORT4_VECTOR
__interrupt void Port_4(void)
{

        case P4IV_P4IFG4:
            if (P4IES & BIT4)
            {
              //interrupt generated
                GPIO_clearInterrupt(GPIO_PORT_P4,GPIO_PIN4);
            }
            break;

}

Hello,

I use the file system(tisdk-rootfs-image-am335x-evm.tar.xz) in ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-04.03.00.05- linux-x86-install.bin.

I try to enter commands at the serial terminal, but sometimes the command line does not wrap itself.

After restarting the development board, it is normal again,How should I solve this problem?

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

HI ,

I am studying the task control function of the SCS

which it describes:

The following Sensor Controller tasks are implemented:

- ADC Sampler: Samples a single ADC input 500 times at 20 kHz. The application executes this task once each time the user presses the LaunchPad BTN-2.

However in both the code and the io ,

i dont need anything working on this,

can you explain >?

thanks

Part Number:ISO1540

Hello,

i'm using the ISO1540 in our application to Communicated to an Uninterruptible power supply(UPS) controller.

for testing I'm Using an Arduino to etablish a communication.

But as soon as i switch on the power supply controller the Voltage breaks down from VCC arduino 4.9V to 1V.

As long as the UPS is active it's pulled down to 1V afterwards its going back up to 4.9V.

Till now i have no explanation for this problem.

Hope you can help me.

Thanks in advance.
