Hello,

On our custom board, u-boot always hangs as below.

I am using ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-05.01.00.11.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Guys,

I have a question:

If the Minus-Pole of a high-voltage battery is connected to GND (Vehicle mass) by low ohmic resistor, e.g. 50m Ohm or less,

there is no possibility to measure R_iso (Isolation resistance) and isolation leakage current?

Am I right or what will bee the solution, to monitor isolation values?

Thanks for answer

Best regards, Gerhard Roedel, g.roedel@dironel.de

Hello

I have a question about LM5050-1.

I think there is a charge pump inside to raise the gate voltage.
Please tell me the operating frequency of this charge pump.
For details, please see the attached document.
Thank you.

OPA1678: [opa1678]question on figure35(pvdf case) and negative voltage

$
0
0

Part Number:OPA1678

Hi there,

We are considering using opa1678 as preamp of a pvdf audio sensor. Since there exist silver migration we do not want to put bias voltage to pvdf and thus figure35 in the datasheet is a good start.

1. With above R5&R6 connection, there will be a 1/2Vs+ voltage to bias piezo.

The pvdf film we are using does not need a bias voltage which leads to silver migration. So is it OK to just remove above R5&R6 to remove bias voltage?

2.Could you provide an example to connect the opa1678 outputs to an audio ADC. We have studied many audio ADCs and they only accept single-end voltage. But in above case I think it outputs negative voltage as well.

B.R.

I downloaded the nimu sample code in this post.

But there are some errors when I build it.

Seems this post is locked for long time.

Hope I can find something useful here. Good luck for me.

Dear Sir,

Just like the topic of this case, can TI give me some advice? USB3.0 (5Gbps) and USB3.1(10Gbps) is suitable for short distance communication(less 5 meters)?

Best regards.

Hello Team,

When we tested DS90UB949-Q1 with HDMI data inputs and DS90UB948-Q1 for LCD module, the DS90UB949-Q1 HPD pin keep a low.

With Boot-loader which is adapter from PC to DS90UB949-Q1 board for I2C, we can operate the LCD screen with HPD high signal.

However, we couldn't operate without boot-loader adapter.

In case of without Boot loader adapter,  How could we change the HPD from low to high?

When we checked the RX5V_Detect register, the register is '1' condition.

However, it still not be operated the HPD pin.

Thank you.

HI

I'd like to ask you the below.

*Development product specifications

   -  48V/12V 3.5kW DCDC Converter

         48V 12V Buck Mode : 3.5kW

         12V 48V Boost Mode : 1.0kW

  - 6 Phase (LM5170-Q1 3ea)

*Questions

1. If I use the Analog Outer Voltage Loop Control, can I apply only one external error Amp to the 6-Phase?

2.Is the Power MOSFET Failure Detection operating only in the initial start-up state or can the MOSFET Short be detected during normal operation?

3.In the figure below, what should be considered in order to determine the TVS Diode capacity used in front of the circuit breaker?

TMS320F28075: Abnormal behavior of IN_MODE configuration of ePWM

Part Number:TMS320F28075

In our project, we encounter an 28075 ePWM wave problem in September. We grabbed the waveform to prove that power module(half-bridge) would be damaged because of short through.

Original Question Link: e2e.ti.com/.../2705829

1. Problem phenomenon

ePWM1A and ePWM1B were configured to complementary output. Ext SyncIn was connected to ePWM1A. CMPSS was used to trip the ePWM1 on a cycle-by-cycle basis. You can find the ePWM output waveforms we found. In the third waveform, ePWM1B cannot be cleared.

You can find their scope capture as follows. The purple waveform(CH3) in the first picture is ePWM1A, and the purple waveform(CH3) in the second picture is ePWM1B.

And there is no ePWM configuration again except the configuration(attached also) during initialization.

2. Some findings

Because of this problem, many of our machines are damaged. We did many experiments, and found some possible reasons.

2.1 Input sources configuration of ePWM

ePWMxA and ePWMxB are configured as two independent input sources in previous procedures based on f28075 datasheet.

That is, EPwm1Regs.DBCTL.bit.IN_MODE = 0x2;

10: EPWMxA In (from the action-qualifier) is the source for risingedgedelayed signal.EPWMxB In (from the action-qualifier) is the source for falling-edge delayed signal.

So we assign values to CMPA and CMPB respectively in the last part of CLA, but they are executed one by one.

Such as:

  EPwm1Regs.CMPA.bit.CMPA = INVThree_Output.fUpwmInv_A;
  EPwm1Regs.CMPB.bit.CMPB = INVThree_Output.fUpwmInv_A;

We conducted a simulation experiment, when CMPA executed the assignment statement, and CMPB did not execute the load statement, there will be a short through phenomenon. In the follow picture, CH1 is ePWM1A, and CH2 is ePWM1B.

Then, ePWMxA and ePWMxB are configured as only one source.

That is, EPwm1Regs.DBCTL.bit.IN_MODE = 0x0;

We repeated many experiments, and there was no abnormal or short through phenomenon. We have also confirmed that the CLA runtime meets the requirements.Due to project schedule, we took this modification measures.

Over the past two months, hundreds of machines have been running for a long time without any problems.

2. Ext SyncIn single

In the five experiments, we all grabbed the synchronous signal, and found no abnormal signal.

Because the reason for this problem is not clear, we can not use 28075 chip for the next project. At present, we have no idea about this problem. Would you kindly help to check the root cause of this issue?

Thanks.

Jetfan

TPA2026D2: shut down sequence -2

Part Number:TPA2026D2

Hi Team,

My customer considers shut down sequence as the following for TPA2026D2.
----------------------------------------
write 0x03 (01H register) : disabling right and left amplifiers
write 0x23 (01H register) : SWS=1
wait 80us
apply SDZ high to Low
----------------------------------------

Is wait time 80us above sufficient?
The background of the question is datasheet shows "Do not interrupt the shutdown sequence after changing SWS from 0 to 1." so would like to confirm it.
Does figure 29 shows wait time more than 1.6ms is required?

UCC27523: Driving Low-Side NMOS for Battery Protection

Part Number:UCC27523

Hi,

I'm looking for a TI solution that could drive a low-side back-to-back NMOS pair (e.g. 2* IRFS4010) commonly seen in battery packs. The UCC2752x family seems to be fitting in right. The application specified in datasheet normally points to SMPS.

Could you please help to tell the additional considerations when using UCC2752x driving NMOS for battery protection? I think adding a few components to the drive path would work for battery over current protection.

Hello ,

1) We are using Electronic Water Meter, it is connected with BLE 5 Module.

We are now checking the RF Output Power.(Testing under test condition 20dB EIRP).

(max Xdb- EIRP,   Please note : the value of "X" in not fixed).

2) The purpose of the test, is to check "MAX RF  OUTPUT POWER" &

compare with the "PRACTICAL TEST CONDITION" Of  other countries.(Specially ASIAN Countries).

3) To compare our Test result with other countries,

I need the "TEST REPORT OF MAX OUTPUT POWER"  for BLE Module, used in that country.

Once I get the "PRACTICAL TEST REPORT", it will be easy to compare with my Practical result.

IS THERE ANY LINK/SOURCE, THROUGH WHICH I CAN GET THE  "MAX OUTPUT POWER  FOR BLE MODULE" USED IN DIFFERENT COUNTRIES ???

(NOT ONLY THE OUTPUT POWER, OTHER SPECIFICATION LIKE CHANNEL DESCRIPTION ..ETC ARE ALSO NEEDED).

Please tell me.

Thank you very much in Advance.

Regards,

Srijit.
