BQ76930: Current measurement gain stage (low value shunt)

$

Part Number:BQ76930

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions about adding a gain block (opamp) of times 8 in front of the current measurement pins on the BQ76930. The need for this arises from the fact that in my design, the shunt which will be used to sense the current through the battery will be 500 microOhms and that can not change.

I was thinking of adding a difference amplifier (using the OPA333 for example), and converting the signal to single ended and feeding it to the SRN pin, while keeping the SRP pin to ground.

If I don't have a gain stage, the current resolution that I will have will be around 160mA per bit, which is too low of a resolution.

Cheers!

Aleks

I am using am4378, and I notice that <max-speed> property of mmc nodes is 8000000 in my dts file. Its data width is 4bit mode. So how do I know the datarates in xxxBytes/s. I check the driver code, but it seems complicate. Thanks a lot.

DRA626: BOOT ROM watchdog behavior

$

Part Number:DRA626

as below description, I understand after BOOTLOADER scan the device list set by bootmode, the BOOTLOADER will enter dead loop and waiting for watchdog(3 minutes) reset. But from test result seems the BOOTLOADER scan the device list in endless loop, for example I set bootmode[5:0] = 111110b, all device in the list are empty, UART0 output CCCCCCCC consequently, never stop, so I think the watchdog never overflow.

So please help check ROM code if below description is not accurate.

LM5116: LM5116 start up issue when SS cap is too large

Part Number:LM5116

Hi,

I have a startup issue with LM5116 when I put the ss capacitor around 2.2uF. The controller stop switching during the softstart. Please refer to the waveform below:

The CH3 is the feedback pin voltage and it is lower than the CH4 SS pin, but the control stopped switching. Could you please explain why?

This issue was not observed when I change the ss cap to 0.47uF.

Thank you.

Part Number:AWR1642BOOST

Hi,

I'm handling the AWR1642 ROS package. I tried to echo the data from publisher out, and I received the data in the following format:

header:
  seq: 948
  stamp:
    secs: 0
    nsecs:         0
  frame_id: "base_radar_link"
height: 1
width: 71
fields:
  -
    name: "x"
    offset: 0
    datatype: 7
    count: 1
  -
    name: "y"
    offset: 4
    datatype: 7
    count: 1
  -
    name: "z"
    offset: 8
    datatype: 7
    count: 1
  -
    name: "intensity"
    offset: 16
    datatype: 7
    count: 1
is_bigendian: False
point_step: 32
row_step: 2272
data: [0, 0, 64, 60, 0, 0, 48, 61, 0, 0, 0, 0... (lots of data here)]

is_dense: True

I am wondering how the data is packed in the "data" list? Also, is there a way to get the position of objects easily?

Best regards.

TDA2P-ACD: UYVY 10bit support in csi2CalMultiCam_View usecase

Part Number:TDA2P-ACD

Hi,

I'm currently using 2MP camera sensor for csi2CalMultiCam_View usecase (in VisionSDK3.2).

The YUV stream format from the sensor is like below - each components have 10 bits:

To support this stream, I changed inCsi2DataFormat to VPS_ISS_CAL_CSI2_YUV422_10B (0x1F) and extract type to VPS_ISS_CAL_PIX_EXRCT_B10_MIPI but I'm not getting correct image (all greeny image).

Do I need to change other things to get the correct image from the stream above?

When we change the camera sensor to use 8 bits (instead of 10 bits) we can see the image correctly.

James

ADS8556: Difference for manufacture process between ADS8558

Part Number:ADS8556

Please let me confirm about difference between ADS8556 and ADS8558.

I think that ADS855x series is nearly function and the same manufacture process (and reliability), is it correct?

(Resolution and clock, etc are only differ)

※Background

Customer is already using ADS8558, and they want to use ADS8556 for next.

If ADS855x series is the same process, they can use and register ADS8556 very easily by their internal circumstance.

Dear Sir/ Ma'am,

I have recently purchased MSP432P401R launchpad. But as soon as i connected it to my laptop. It haven't recognised in COM port but it showed as Stellaris Device Firmware Upgrade.

I have gone through some of post related to same issue. I came to conclusion that there is issue with firmware itself.

If i need to upgrade its firmware. Can i do it with LM Flash Programmer? (If yes, please include steps also because i have never used LM Flash Programmer before.)

Please provide some solution for this.

Thank you for your time. I really appreciate it.

BQ25896: 9.2.9.3 Interrupt to Host (INT)

$

Part Number:BQ25896

Hi all

Would you mind if we ask BQ25896?

There is the description 9.2.9.3 Interrupt to Host (INT) on the datasheet P25.
We would like to confirm it.

<The description>
When a fault occurs, the charger device sends out INT and keeps the fault state in REG0C until the host reads the fault register.
Before the host reads REG0C and all the faults are cleared, the charger device would not send any INT upon new faults.
To read the current fault status, the host has to read REG0C two times consecutively.
The 1st read reports the pre-existing fault register status and the 2nd read reports the current fault register status.

->As the conclusion, are following contents correct?
1st read : To read the pre-existing fault
2nd read : To read the current fault

And if the host has to read REG0C three times consecutively, 1st and 3rd reads are the pre-existing fault, 2nd read is the current fault.
Is our recognition correct?

Kind regards,

Hirotaka Matsumoto

Part Number:CC2541

Hi all,

developing on simple ble peripheral app using cc2541 i wish to modify the Char 3 making it readble as well as writable (like CHAR 1). By default it is only writable.

So in the simpleGATTprofile.c routine i modified the code as below, but testing it with btool and trying to read the characteristic value through the corresponding handle (0x002B for CHAR 3) still i have the error "THE ATTRIBUTE CANNOT BE READ".

Any suggest?

Thanks,

Vito

TPS2544: TPS2544 Wake up fail issue

Part Number:TPS2544

Hi expert,

My customer is facing an issue which is related to wake up event of TPS2544. Please kindly see below waveform for successfully wake-up(left)/fail wake-up(right) event. We used the same mouse and PC to test. For the failure wake-up event, VBUS drops and D+ drop. And D+/D- will keep both high so that host cannot know that device is plugged in.

Could you kindly help to verify why this event would be like this? Thanks a lot!!
