Dear Support Team,

I have order AMC1210MB-EVM for a motor control project, but the related SW is not available on the web. Could you please help to get the Installation SW for the GUI?

And if possible, my customer would like to get the source code running on the Stellaris side of the EVM.

Part Number:AM1806

Dear Champs,

Is it possible to reset I2C0 only in AM1806?

My customer faced I2C communication fail and would like to reset I2C0 port of AM1806 only to minimize impact on all system.

But, when they set IRS bit of ICMDR register, the I2C communication was not recovered and they are doubting if I2C0 was not reset properly.

Could you please let me know how they can reset I2C0 only in AM1806?

their AM1806 is non-OS platform.

Thanks and Best Regards,

SI.

I appreciate any help.

CC2530: Reporting problem for Saturation

$

Part Number:CC2530

Hello,

I have used the following reporting command to send Report to ZNP:

static void zclReport_Hue_Command (uint8 *device_hue_state)
{
  afAddrType_t dstaddr;
  dstaddr.addr.shortAddr = zclColor_DstAddr.addr.shortAddr;
  dstaddr.addrMode = afAddr16Bit;
  dstaddr.endPoint =  zclColor_DstAddr.endPoint;
  dstaddr.panId = zclColor_DstAddr.panId;

  zclReportCmd_t rptcmd;
  rptcmd.numAttr = 1;
  rptcmd.attrList[0].attrID = ATTRID_LIGHTING_COLOR_CONTROL_CURRENT_HUE;
  rptcmd.attrList[0].dataType = ZCL_DATATYPE_UINT8;
  rptcmd.attrList[0].attrData = device_hue_state;

  zcl_SendReportCmd(ENDPOINT, &dstaddr ,
                    ZCL_CLUSTER_ID_LIGHTING_COLOR_CONTROL, &rptcmd,
                    ZCL_FRAME_SERVER_CLIENT_DIR, 1, 0 );
}

I have used this one sending for Hue and the following one for sending Saturation

static void zclReport_Sat_Command (uint8 *device_sat_state)
{
  afAddrType_t dstaddr;
  dstaddr.addr.shortAddr = zclColor_DstAddr.addr.shortAddr;
  dstaddr.addrMode = afAddr16Bit;
  dstaddr.endPoint =  zclColor_DstAddr.endPoint;
  dstaddr.panId = zclColor_DstAddr.panId;

  zclReportCmd_t rptcmd;
  rptcmd.numAttr = 1;
  rptcmd.attrList[0].attrID = ATTRID_LIGHTING_COLOR_CONTROL_CURRENT_SATURATION;
  rptcmd.attrList[0].dataType = ZCL_DATATYPE_UINT8;
  rptcmd.attrList[0].attrData = device_sat_state;

  zcl_SendReportCmd(ENDPOINT, &dstaddr ,
                    ZCL_CLUSTER_ID_LIGHTING_COLOR_CONTROL, &rptcmd,
                    ZCL_FRAME_SERVER_CLIENT_DIR, 1, 0 );
}

Now here I can only send report on Hue, for Saturation I cant see any report being sent, what could be the problem here?

AM3352: Interrupt priority threshold

$

Part Number:AM3352

Hi,

Is it possible to modify the PRIORITYTHRESHOLD inside an interrupt routine?

Currently we have an interrupt with PRIORITYTHRESHOLD set as "0x30"
and due to some requirment we need to increase the THRESHOLD to 0x08 inside the
interrupt service routine and return it back to 0x30 later.

Unfortunately we are not able to achieve this, we are getting lower priority
interrupts(like 0x10,0x20) even though the THRESHOLD is set to 0x08.

Below is the procedure we are trying to implement.

1> Enable priority masking threshold(PRIORITYTHRESHOLD) for an interrupt as 0x30
as mentioned in the TRM's "INTC Preemptive Processing Sequence".
2> Once the interrupt routine is called, modify the PRIORITYTHRESHOLD value to 0x08
so that interrupts lower or equal priority than 0x08 are masked.
3> Return back the PRIORITYTHRESHOLD value to the original one (0x30).

Please let me if this kind of usage is possible and if there is any
suggestion to implement this.

OS used: This is a non-OS bare metal application.

AMC1304L05: Behavior of ADC across isolated power supply

$

Part Number:AMC1304L05

Hello,

according to the datasheet (revision 2017) the AMC1304L05 has a fail safe function. §8.4.1. Fail-Safe Output says:  "In the case of a missing high-side supply voltage (LDOIN), ..." "Therefore, the AMC1304 implements a fail-safe output function". We use this function successfully together with logic in an FPGA. It will trigger an error if the ADCs datastream does not toggle within 128 clock cycles.
The AMC1304L05 is specified for LDOIN between 4 to 18VDC. We use it with 5V generated by an digital isolator (ADuM64xx).

In our application we trigger an error, if the primary power rail for the isolators drops below 4V. In case of VCCprimary < 4.5V the isolators try to generate 5V but this is not guaranteed. It might be anything between below 4V (due to losses) up to 5V.

The word "missing" in the AMC1304L05 datasheet is somehow unclear, however, as it implies that this error function is only active when LDOIN = 0V.

In FMEA and hasard rate discussions the following question was asked. What is the behavior of the ADCs error function in case of 0V < LDOIN <4V.  We could not find any information about this point in the datasheet. Does the error handler raise an error (no toggling of data lines) or is it simply unspecified and it is up to the user to supervise the power supply for LDOIN?

Thank You very much in advance for clarification

Robert

TMS320C6678: BOOTP packet problem in C6678 Ethernet boot mode

$

Part Number:TMS320C6678

Hi,

I'm working on a customizd board with C6678 in ethernet bootloader mode. C6678 will send the BOOTP packets every 3 seconds before the *.eth packets sent.

But I found that when the network interface was negotiated as 100M bps,  the BOOTP packet will not be sent (Using wireshark tool, I can't capture the BOOTP protocol packets). When the interface was configured 1000M bps, the BOOTP packet will be sent again.

I'm not very familiar with the RBL logic for the ethernet boot mode.  Can I modify the RBL to send BOOTP packet when in 100M bps configuration ?

Thanks~

CC2538: CC2538 trace feature (SWO/SWD/SWV)?

Part Number:CC2538

Hello,

When reading the datasheet and the User Manual, there are some mentions of SWO trace (Cortex-M3); however, I couldn't find any information on how to configure the pins to enable this feature. Is there a guide available somewhere? I know that you have some information on the info-centre of ARM: http://infocenter.arm.com/help/index.jsp?topic=/com.arm.doc.ddi0337e/index.html but it is more protocol configuration rather than pins configurations, which should be vendor-defined.

On https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless_connectivity/zigbee_6lowpan_802-15-4_mac/f/158/p/573820/2235764?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=cc2538%20trace#2235764 , one manages to make it works using pin PB5 but that person did not share all information (I would like to use pin PB7 instead for example). Even with those settings, when I've tried it with a J-Link probe debugger; it failed.

HWREG(0x44010010) = 0x1; (????)

HWREG(0x400DA400) |= 0x20; (Set pin PB5 direction)

Does the CC2538 really support trace debugging?

Thank you in advance,

Steven

Please pardon my ignorance! I would like to generate a ~375MHz tone out the DAC. It seems that the Quick Start files are limited to ~200MHz. Is there an easy  way to generate and program the files necessary for the 375MHz tone? I looked through the documentation, but couldn't find anything.

Hi

My system connfiguration is:

5 GSPS, JMODE 0

Linerate 10 Gbps, refclk 500 MHz, core:clk 250 MHz, no scrambler, K=4, I changed RX ¨polarity for DB0-DB3 lanes

I tested system by Ramp mode and it looks OK.

I also tried K28.5 mode, it also looks OK:

But in normal mode, i think that i get a wrong data on rx, actually I have no input signal (offset is set to 20 mV):

what may be wrong?

BQ34Z100EVM: Voltage calibration problems

Part Number:BQ34Z100EVM

Hi,

I've been following the step-by-step design procedure, chapter 8.2.2.1 from the datasheet and always (but once) come to a stop at the calibration. One of the first times it worked, but I don't know what I did different.
I've tried some different options and changed the order, even changed a BQstudio config file I found here on the forum. During the data changes the measured voltage already changes from about 240 mV to 4000+ mv. But it is still about a 1000 mV off.

I've been to default a few times and sometimes come to different problems. But mostly that the data is out of range.
Sometimes BQstudio looks completely different on the top and has a lot more options, the calibrate fault I get is a acknowledge problem from the device, and the image on the side shows "zzz" asleep. Will make a screenshot when it happens again.

The attached documents is my last try. I started from default and wrestled through the datasheet step-by-step. When I started all the external lights on the EVM were on, somewhere on the route they all went off, the voltage is 4312mV, but in reality it is 5220mV.

Thanks in advance,

Karolijn

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi guys,

I would like to know how to obtain CCS 4.2.5 full install, not the update, as that does not work for some strange reason.

Thanks
