AFE5818: Termination at the Analog Input of AFE5818

Hi,

The multiple AFE5818 is being used on the receiving side of Ultrasound scanner development.

Is there any need for additional onboard termination at the analog input pins of AFE5818?

The schematic at the input of AFE is attached here, please validate it.

Do the optional 49.9E resistor (impedance matching) and 10uH inductor (dc removal) can be removed from the schematic?

TPS54260-Q1: Inquiry about when short circuit between Vout and GND.

Hi team.

My customer wants to design a circuit that uses a TPS54260 to output 12V at 24V input.

When Vout is shorted to GND, It must check to occur problem in automotive system.

If GND and Vout are shorted and current exceeding the current limit(in redbox below table) flows, will the FET be continuously turned off by the internal current sensor?

Are there any additional measures to protect the TPS54260 and peripheral circuits (other systems connected to Vin) when a short circuit occurs?

Hi team,

My customer is looking for solution to do input 7.5v, output 45v.

The datasheet says the max duty SYNC is 70%.

in my opinion, we don't use the SYNC and I use the toffmin to calculate.

if we set lower frequency, we can get Dmax >84%.

Could you please help double check it?

DRV10987: Improvements wished

I don't know if this forum is the good place to formulate wishes.

The DRV10987 is mainly intended to rotate miscelaneous fans in the home area (pedestal fans,...).

However this little device can be found very convenient to control small BLDC motors in the mechatronics area.

In this case, two improvements would be very useful to get full control of a motor via the I2C port:

- The possibility to control the direction of rotation via the I2C port (1 bit in the 0x30 register ?)

- The possibility to maintain the device out of the standby mode when the speed register is assigned to zero, and thus avoid the long 350 ms delay to drive motor after exiting standby mode. One bit would be sufficient in a CONFIG register.

Hi

My customer is using TPS2419 to combine 1 1 redundant power supplies. when these two power supplies are working, there are whistlers from power supplies. If we turn off any of them, the whistlers will disappear.
The specifications of these two power supplies are same: AC 220V  Input, DC 12V/10.5A output. when two power supplies ORing,  the load is 12 v / 10. 5A.

Hello,

In my project I use TM4C129X with TI-RTOS. I want to implement UDP protocol although I have a problem. When I looked at the udpecho example it uses netOpenHook because of ndk Installation.So, I inserted it to my .cfg file. However, my code has to be written C++ and void netOpenHook() call in this C++ file causes the unresolved symbol error. Is there any way to create the project TI-RTOS C++ instead of TI-RTOS C ? or any recommendations for solving this issue in TI-RTOS C code .If I use C instead of C++, it works perfectly BUT c++ usage creates a problem in Debug file. LM48560: How to handle the unused input

Hi team,

I am using the LM48560 to build up a circuit,   I am going to use the IN2+ and IN2-. So the IN1+ and IN1- is unused. 

Please see the schematic below.  I connected the IN+ or IN- and the GND with the 470nF capacitor.  Am I rignt?

Further more, could you have a look at this schematic and find if there is any mistakes?  Thanks!

PS:

R26 is a risistor of  0.125W and the footprint is 0805.

C13 and C102 is 25V working voltage.

L12 and D11 can work in the current of 1A.   And the reverse voltage is the D11 is 40V.

Questions about status and load diagnostic register (0x02)


In the evaluation environment of TAS 5411 EVM User's Guide page 3,
when I read the value of Status and Load Diagnostic Register (0x02) from EVM, the normal value(80h) is returned.

On the other hand, when I tried in an environment using the evaluation board and our 5V microcomputer, different values of "FFh" is returned.

If you know the reason why the value of "FFh" is returned, please let me know.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I was trying to FFT some data arrays of size bigger than 32768 using DSPLIB function DSPF_dp_cfftr2(short n, double *x, double *w, short n_min), but the the C6748 device halted abnormally....while when FFT a data size smaller than or equal to 32768, it worked well.

So if there is any approach to FFT data arrays which are bigger than 32768?

Hi

I have question for gain setting with clamp operation.

According to the description of clamp operation in datasheet P.22, Figure 59 shows example circuit whose gain is 2V/V.

However, I could not find the wave which is represented in gain with 2V/V in the Figure.

If the output is not clamped for single-ended input in the circuit offering 2V/V gain, how is output level of VOUT+ and VOUT- respectively?

For example, if Vin = 0.5Vpp is assumed in Figure 59, how are VOUT+ and VOUT-?
