Run the simple_peripheral project in CC2640 . When Android phone "Xiaomi note 3" pairing with CC2640 , CC2640 shows "pair fail " and CC2640 stops advertising ,"Xiaomi note 3" can not find the bluetooth signal anymore .
    After resetting CC2640 , the problem still exists .However, if resetting CC2640 several times later , "Xiaomi note 3" can pairing with CC2640 successfully.
    How to solve this problem?

1、the process of "Xiaomi note 3" pairing with CC2640 is shown below:

(1) "Xiaomi note 3" can find the bluetooth signal , as shown in picture 1

TAS5760M: Question of TAS5760M Datasheet Soft Clipper Example Table 4

Part Number:TAS5760M

Hi Sirs,

According to the TAS5760M datasheet, The TAS5760M's maximum Vp will be limitted to 4xVsft_clip. In case of 1.5Vsft_clip, the peak output = 4x1.5=6V. However, the table 4 shows 6.3Vrms which is higher than 6Vp. Would you please check if the 6.3Vrms a typo or the actual measurement on the EVM? Do we have tolerance data (Vp=4xVsft_clip +/- ?%)?

Thank you and Best regards,

   Dear Sir,

I obtained TI LMK05028 EVA board and tried to operate with PC, function generator, frequency counter.

But I found one problem ‘ D12/D13, D8,D9 LED are still ON even I connected 2.048MHz CMOS to one of IN0,IN1, IN2,IN3.

  USB connection (PC to Board) was confirmed on the software.

  Please advise following 3 points.

  Q1  How can I turn off LED D12/D13, D8/D9 ?                    Page1

  Q2  I want to use external TCXO,OCXO. How are Jumpers set ?    Page2

  Q3  Pleasee advise the circuit connection.    Page3

LM25141: About Hiccup mode behavior at start up

Part Number:LM25141

Hi Team,

We simulated LM25114 at the following conditions.

At the result, LM25141 can start up but VOUT is around 3.15V (less than 3.8V(target voltage)) and IOUT is around 8.3A(current limit value).

After that, this device enter the Hiccup mode.

Is this behavior correct?

I guess that LM25141 enter the Hiccup mode even if start up so a simulation is wrong.

Is my understanding correct?

[Conditions]

VIN=20V

VOUT=3.8V

IOUT=5A

Current limit = around 8.3A

Fsw=440kHz

L=6.8uH

Cout=22uF x 2

Load capacity is 500mF (ESR is around 35mohm)

[Sim circuit]

Please refer to the attached file.

Linux/AM5728: Ethernet bringup issue

Part Number:AM5728

Tool/software: Linux

Hello All,

We are using our custom board for testing, SDK version "ti-processor-sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-04.02.00.09" using for board bringup.

I'm facing issue with 1GBPS ethernet in RGMII mode, not able to verify.

While debugging the hardware, able to see the data on MDIO_DATA(U4 ball no) and clock on MDIO_MCLK(V1 ball no). There is no signal at EMAC(0)_TXCTL(V9 ball no), showing always at zero level.

In the dts file and kernel image i have not modified anything, for testing using the default SD card created from SDK without modifying anything.

Could anyone please let me know, how can i verify the 1GBPS ethernet in RGMII mode.

Part Number:DP83848K

About DP83848K, measured TD+(16 pin) and TD-(14 pin) by differential probe.

These waveform ware not smoothed, but competitor is smoothed on the same condition, waveform is attached.

(100Mbps is no problem(clean waveform), 10Mbps is only no-smoothed.)

DP83848K

・Competitor

I think that the reason is  below, is it correct? If there the other possibility of reason, please let me know.

・Is DP83848K become these waveform on the condition of 10Mbps by internal circuit?

・Cable length is 20cm~1m. Is very short length cable influence any problem to DP83848K

Best regards,

Satoshi

TDA2EG-17: Whether we can delete TDA2E-17 QSPI1_RTCLK signal when QSPI memory work at Mode 3?

Part Number:TDA2EG-17

Hi Expert:

At TRM 24.5.2 table 24-355 gave the QSPI signal description.
Because we are using spansion and Micron QSPI work at 4-bits QSPI mode.
It is follow SPI mode 3. We want to remove the QSPI1_RTCLK signal ( pin H3 at TDA2E-17 ) , just connect QSPI1_SCLK signal to spainsion QSPI memory.
Does it can work at TDA2E-17?
Best Regards!

CCS/TMDSDOCK28035: Reg. XDS100 emulator on ISO Control Card

$

Part Number:TMDSDOCK28035

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Dear Sir,

           We had purchased TMDSDOCK28035 experimenter kit. The hardware emulator on the kit is XDS100 type. We have been using CCS version 4 since the emulator was listed only in CCS-4 i.e we could find "Texas Instruments XDS100v1 USB emulator " connection only in CCS4 target configuration. CCS 7 connection does not list "Texas Instruments XDS100v1 USB emulator ". We tried installing the required CG tools package and drivers. We got the serial number of the debug probe by running XDS100serial.exe file. We are able to build the project file. But while trying to debug, the following error is constantly occuring :
Error connecting to the target:
(Error -1135 @ 0x0)
The emulator reported an error. Confirm emulator configuration and connections, reset the emulator, and retry the operation.
(Release 5.0.429.0)

Now our question is
1) whether CCS7 can be used with XDS100 emulators or not?
2) If yes, then are there any additional packages to be installed along with CCS7 and what are they?
3) Also on the control card there are two switches SW2 and SW3. What should be their positions while flashing the code?
4) Can we purchase a standalone XDS110 emulator and connect it to the 14 pin JTAG emulator on the docking station? will it work?
5) Will XDS110 work with CCS7 and a 64bit Windows 10 OS?

Thankyou

Linux/AM3358: Device tree in RAM inaccessible

Part Number:AM3358

Tool/software: Linux

HI all,

I'm attempting to get a Linux v 4.1.15 build running on an AM3358 board with 1GB RAM. During Kernel boot, the device hangs when it attempts to unpack the device tree in RAM. I traced the source of the corruption to the function `early_paging_init()`. Once this function has returned, I am unable to access the Device Tree from Virtual RAM. The processor hangs, then reboots after ~10 seconds.

The same image runs on my v1.0 board with 512MB RAM, and to my best knowledge, I have updated the RAM settings in u-boot and device trees. u-boot successfully detects 1GiB Ram, and the mtest function returns no errors.

The only known difference between the RAM chips is the Row Address changed from 32 to 64, the rest of the settings remained identical. This change was reflected in the ddr_defs.h file of u-boot.

Has anyone encountered these issues? Or have any recommendations for continuing my investigation?

Hello ,

I have developed a custom board of AM3358 similar to the AM335x general purpose EVM.

In my board I have a requirement of interfacing the McASP with the McBSP of DSP.

The problem is I have seen people doing similar with around 32 channels in the forum, but for me the requirement is to TDM only a single channel.

What has to be done and how?

Kindly help me on this at the earliest.

LMX2594: Active PLL filter Type A/B and PFD polarity

Part Number:LMX2594

In PLLatinumSIM three active integrators are present. Two of them use common inverting opamp architecture. It looks like that but i see that inverting and non-inverting inputs are swapped. How can it work? If there is a mistake in opamp inputs assignment how can it work with positive PFD polarity? It must be negative. In the datasheet i can't find any information about PFD polarity switching.
