What's the max accuracy over -40c to 85C?

The spec only describes the type value over the temper.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am trying to design a circuit using your TMS570LS3137 connected to an external 16 bit ADC, as the application needs higher resolution. I was wondering about the processor performance when handling this 16 bit external ADC. Do you see any issue on that?.

Yours faithfully

RM48L952: What is the maximum output current of a pin if it shorted to the ground

$

Part Number:RM48L952

Dear All,

I have this question, but could not find any detailed answer in the TI documentations. So, what happens, if one or more output pins are shorted to the ground? Are there any internal current limit in the MCU?

My question is focusing on SPI lanes, but I am also interested in other kinds of pins e.g. GPIO, I2C etc.

Does somebody have any kind of information about it?

Thanks,

Imre

RTOS/CC2650EM-7ID-RD: BLE simple_peripheral stop at 1001bbd6

Part Number:CC2650EM-7ID-RD

Tool/software:TI-RTOS

I'm using CC2650 with SimpleBLEPeripheral involved in ble_sdk_2_02_01_18 example.

I have the same problem as https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless_connectivity/bluetooth_low_energy/f/538/t/454423 , stucking at :

1001bbd6:      2A00       cmp      r2, #0
1001bbd8:      D0FD      beq      #0x1001bbd6

So I followed the best solution , tried the steps in developers guide ch9.8 as below:

(guide)

1.Open hwi.c (I couldn't find "M3Hwi.c")

2.There is no "m3Hwi.enableException" or "m3Hwi.excHookFunc" mentioned in ch9.8. But other parameters start as Hwi....

   I found there is Hwi.excHookFunc , then add codes as:

And many errors have occurred.

How should I follow the guide?

Tool/software: Linux

Hello,

I am trying to flash the firmware in cc2538 but getting error. Target system OS is RIOT and for flashing proces as  per cc2538-bsl. Here also I am doing reset cc2538.

Command line error as bellow,

"ERROR: Can't connect to target. Ensure boot loader is started. (no answer on synch sequence)"

System is Linux ubuntu and that process I am doing through command line. As per booting sequence first write to 0x55 and 0x55 and then wait for response for sync.

What could be possible solution to resolve this issue. If I get any suggetion/help in this direction it would be more apreciable.

Part Number:TMS320C6657

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

I'm having trouble after trying to switch from "pdk_C6657_1_1_2_6" to "pdk_c665x_2_0_6".

After trying to compile my project with pdk_c665x_2_0_6, I'm getting the following error:

"

subdir_rules.mk:12: recipe for target 'build-1779453503-inproc' failed

xdc.services.global.XDCException: xdc.PACKAGE_NOT_FOUND: C:\ti\pdk_c665x_2_0_6\packages\ti\platform\evmc6657l\package.xdc found along the package path, but no schema file was found. Ensure that the package 'ti.platform.evmc6657l' is completely built.

"

I am using CCS 7.1.0.00016, as required by pdk_c665x_2_0_6...

I got the same error even when i tried to use pdk_c665x_2_0_0, so i'm guessing it's not a bad installation of the pdk...

Please help me solve this issue.

Thanks,

Alex

Part Number:DRV8312-69M-KIT

Hello,

I have the DRV8312-69M-Kit and I use the BLDC motor which is included in the kit. I have installed CCSv7.3 and I have MotorWare.

The problem I encounter is that I can start up the InstaSPIN-MOTION GUI but after several seconds, a Critical Error occurs and the GUI cannot be used.

It is basically the same problem like in this post:

https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/c2000/f/902/t/353481#pi316717=1

I have not clue what I can do about it.

Please help me.

Kind regards,

Dave

Hi

I simulated LM5018 under Vin=34~60V, Vout=5V and Iout=150mA.
I have two questions about the simulation results.
1. I could simulate I enter the condition in attached document① but I couldn't simulate if I enter the conditioon in attached document②.
   Could you tell me this reason?
2. The simulation result of the attached document② is used trance.
   Could I simulate the circuit using inductor?

CC2530: Zstack 3.0.1 HA Samplelight - Modify for 0x0300 Colour Control Cluster

Part Number:CC2530

Hi,

I'm getting started with the Zstack samplelight application and looking for guidance on modifying the standard example to add the lighting colour control cluster (0x0300). Is it just a matter of adding the definition to the zclSampleLight_InClusterList[] list as defined in zcl.h or does the entire cluster functionality need to be coded? The latter seems to be the case.

I have no IAR license at the minute so cannot test anything.

Any input appreciated.

DRV8842: issue/failure of pin 12&13

$

Part Number:DRV8842

Hello Team,

One of our customer is using DRV8842 and facing low impedance issue at pin 12 and 13 (Vref) in few boards.In the design they had given 3.3V (V3P3 Out) as internal reference voltage.

3.3V (V3P3 Out)  output will be disabled when sleep and reset are on active. Can this create any back drive to the internal DAC since the current setting pins are driven from external 3.3V.

The reference voltage to the pin is given as shown in the below schematic(Encircled with red).

While testing out of 5 boards, 2 boards are with required reference voltage at the corresponding pin. But in other boards they are getting undesired reference voltage(Drop in the voltage) and 12th,13th  pin to ground impedance is showing 240 ohm.

Can you please help with your comments on the same.

Thanks in advance for your help and support.

Regards,

Shinu Mathew.

Compiler/CC2640R2F: Power shutdown & wakeup problem

$

Part Number:CC2640R2F

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

Hello, TI engineer,

I'v modified the example project:  simple_peripheral_oad_onchip in BLE-STACK V3.0.1 (Support for CC2640R2F)(SIMPLELINK-CC2640R2-SDK_1.40.00.45)(20 Jul 2017)

When I call one the following shutdown funciton in my program. The system goes to shutdown.

//Power_shutdown(Power_ENTERING_SHUTDOWN,Power_RESUME);
//Power_shutdown(Power_ENTERING_SHUTDOWN,0);
Power_shutdown(0,0);

I've setup two pins(Board_MYPIN1  and Board_MYPIN2) to wakeup the system. But, I cannot wakeup the system by Board_MYPIN1 (DIO_16).  Board_MYPIN2 (DIO_17) is OK.

What's the reason?

I reviewed "CC13xx, CC26xx SimpleLink™ Wireless MCU Technical Reference Manual", it shows that  DIO_16 & 17 are for JTAG. but they also can be used as GPIO.

I just use 2-Pin cJTAG debugging. so I think I could these two pins as wakeup pins.

Here are my configurations:

CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL.h

......
#define Board_MYPIN1 IOID_16 //problem pin
#define Board_MYPIN2 IOID_17 //it's ok to wakeup
......

CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL.c
......

PIN_Config ButtonTableWakeUp[] = {
Board_MYPIN1 | PIN_GPIO_OUTPUT_DIS | PIN_INPUT_EN | PIN_NOPULL | PINCC26XX_WAKEUP_POSEDGE,//problem pin
Board_MYPIN2 | PIN_GPIO_OUTPUT_DIS | PIN_INPUT_EN | PIN_NOPULL | PINCC26XX_WAKEUP_NEGEDGE,//it's ok to wakeup
PIN_TERMINATE
};

PIN_State Pins;
PIN_Handle hPins;

void BoardPinInit(void)
{
hPins = PIN_open(&Pins, BoardGpioInitTable);
PINCC26XX_setWakeup(ButtonTableWakeUp);
}
......

Best wishes,

Charles

DM385: bitmap based on Chroma Key on DM385

$

Part Number:DM385

We need to create a bitmap of the same size as captured frame, corresponding to each captured frame from ISS/HD-VPSS

The content of bitmap needs to be as per following requirement

  • A range of YCbCr values will be provided
  • Assuming the frame is of size 1920x1080, the bitmap will also be of size 1920x1080
  • From each YUV buffer, we need to generate an output bitmap with 1’s in places where the pixel’s color fall in range of the YCbCr range given
  • Rest of the bitmap value should be 0

The above requirement is essentially the part of Chroma-Keying where it figure outs  which pixels needs to be blacked/faded out for blending.

Please let us know if DM385 supports the above requirement. We went through the HD-VPSS document and there it talks about support for chroma-keying,  but beyond that no further information is given

TPS82140: Switching Frequency

$

Part Number:TPS82140

I'm using TPS82140 to convert a 12 V rail to 5.7 V, and the load will be drawing roughly 0.5 A from the 5.7 V output. I do get the right output voltage but the switching frequency I measured is about 500 kHz, which is far off the 2MHz nominal switching frequency. I need the switching frequency as high as possible because I'm using it to supply a 13 GHz VCO and I have spurious requirement below 1.5 MHz offset. The only thing I did different from Figure 5 of the datasheet is the R1 and R2 values. I've used R1 = 51 kOhm and R2 = 8.2 kOhm to set the output voltage. Is the R2 I used too small so that it messed up the switching frequency?

RTOS: How to load and run DSP application using remoteproc on Linux.

Tool/software:TI-RTOS

Hi there, I have installed SDK 4.0.0.4 for OMAP L138 device and am able to load and run some default rproc-dsp-fw application but would like to load and run LED flashing non OS application on DSP core.

Is this possible?

After booting Linux, I did the following steps;

* echo 'stop' > /sys/class/remoteproc/remoteproc0/state

* echo 'start' > /sys/class/remoteproc/remoteproc0/state

Got following error:

unable to find resource table

remoteproc: boot failed -22

Please, let me know if using remoteproc it's possible to boot any custom DSP application from Linux. Thanks.
