Hi All,
Please tell me about automatic connection with BLE.
1. When connecting for the first time, I think that the Initiator confirms the advertiser's Random device address, and decides the connection destination.
Please tell me how to connect automatically in this case.
2. Is it possible to output the Random Device Address(the information necessary for automatic connection) via UART or SPI, before or during Advertising, Initiating?
If possible, I believe that you can send an address to each other by communication other than BLE and connect automatically.
3. Can I implement LIN Interface using UART Peripheral of CC2640R2F-Q1?
If you have Sample Program and Third Party information, please introduce.

MSP430F2002: migrating to F2002 from G2131

Hi everybody ,
please I have a product with pcb working and in production using MSP430G2131IRSA16R .
now I need this product to be able to work up to 105 degrees celsius , keeping same pcb and ideally same sw .
for the micro I am moving to MSP430F2002TRSA so some questions :
1- as far as I see it should be a pin2pin drop in no issue at all : do you see anything special to consider ?
2- about SW do you have any indication / suggestion apart from changing headers ?
any suggestion is very welcome to speed up the process .

Hi,
What's the status of the DIO after power up if there is no code running?
What's the reset value of IOCFGx?
there is "6000h" in the 11.11.3.5 IOCFG4 Register (Offset = 10h) [reset = 6000h]
but, in the table, only bellow bit reset value is 3h, others are 0h.
14-13 PULL_CTL R/W 3h Pull control
1h = DWN : Pull down
2h = UP : Pull up
3h = DIS : No pull

SN74ACT245: About absolute input voltage range, VI

Hi all.
The absolute input voltage range of SN74ACT245 is -0.5V to Vcc+0.5V.
So if we apply voltage 3.5V to DIR pin without supply voltage, I think input currrent will flow when it exceeds 0.5V(abs).
But I measured I-V characteristics, there was not current flowing.
I attached the picture, please check it.
Is this parameter correct?

WL1837MOD: Wi-Fi connection is unstable

I use wl1837 on custom board,the main chip uses AM5728.
But Wi-Fi connection is unstable.
Here is the configuration file I am using.

Do I need to configure other parameters?
When the wifi connection is successful.
I use SSH login board operation delay is high, and sometimes will be dropped.
At this point, my host PING board prints as follows:

64 bytes from 192.168.0.88: icmp_seq=46 ttl=64 time=1168 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.0.88: icmp_seq=47 ttl=64 time=160 ms

Why the connection is so unstable?
And the wifi rate is less than half the theoretical value.

RTOS/CC2640R2F: CC2640R2F Failed to load extran image

To reduce to usage of ram, I tried to use cache or aux as ram and did modification of "build_config.opt" yesterday.
I did modification of "build_config.opt" like below, and changed "OSAL_SNV=1" to OSAL_SNV=0".
-DGAP_BOND_MGR
-DV42_FEATURES=SECURE_CONNS_CFG
instead of
/* -DGAP_BOND_MGR */
*/ -DV42_FEATURES=SECURE_CONNS_CFG */
I finally removed defined symbol and configuration about CASCH_AS_RAM and AUX_AS_RAM.
Today, I get error message when debugging.
I have check the file "rtos_rom.xem3" seems to not be changed for a long time (modified date is 2017/2/15),
Could u help me to fix it?

AM3358: PRU EMAC vs CPSW EMAC

Dear Champs,
I found there was EMAC implemented using PRU in Linux-RT SDK, and want to know what is benefit to use PRU for EMAC driver compared with CPSW.
My customer's requirement is to send data from Master device and to receive in Slave device within 10ms, and Master Device and Slave device will connect each other directly without connecting public network, but their ethernet protocol is TCP/UP.
So, they are looking for the low-latency system to achieve this requirement, and want to know if PRU based EMAC will help to implement this low-latency. Could you please let me know if PRU will have lower latency than CPSW for EMAC? I mean the latency is the time to send packet outside of PHY when their application was executed and the time to interrupt core and their application notified of slave device after receiving packet. I want to know if PRU based EMAC implementation will help to reduce this time even at normal TCP/IP protocol.

TMDS181: I2C_CTL problem (Urgent)

Hi Team,
Can you advise me to resolve a problem.
The TMDS181 is used in Sink equipment and connected to 4k or 2k Blue-Ray player.
When set power was off and on, no image was displayed on the screen.
When check the device pin status, SDA_CTL pin was stalled in Logic low when the problem
occurred.
Q1. Do you know any cases TMDS181 show such symptom on power on instance.
Q2. Is there any circuit in TMDS181 which makes SDA_CTL pin logic low eternally

LMP7300: LMP7300 for the selection questions

Hi team,
The customer has two questions for LMP7300.
Q1: The datasheet shows ""For precise level detection applications, TI recommends symmetric hysteresis values less than 5 mV to 10 mV."
on page 12. For the customer's application, the hysteresis value is 100mV. Can LMP7300 meet his requirement?
If not ,would you recommend a suitable device? How to determine the hysteresis value for the comparator devices?
Q2: The datasheet shows "By optimizing overdrive, the pullup resistor and capactive load fault update rates of 200 kHz to
250 kHz or greater can be achieved." on page 10. Now the customer's switching frequency is higher than 500KHZ.
Can LMP7300 meet his requirement? If not ,would you recommend a suitable device?

CC1310: CRC error after setting 100 kbps (LRM )

I have use CC1310 launchpad.
We want to achieve LOS around 5 Kilometer at data rate 100kbps.
I have do some setting as below to get 100kbps as below:
Starting point is 625bps (LRM)
HW_REG_OVERRIDE(0x505C,0x0000) 1 x spreading
Symbol rate: 200 kbaud
Dev: 100 KHz,
Rxbw:311
I able to do this setting but during receive the data. The data showed CRC error.
Can you help how to solve this problem.
