Hi TI,
Is it possible to remove ZDApp task and make bdb task manage the joining process and device state of device?
Part Number:DRV8835
Hello,
Regarding to RDS(ON) on DRV8835, my customer is asking some question.
They will design power dissipation with RDS(ON).
Regarding to RDS(ON) on DRV8835, my customer is asking some question.
They will refer section 10.3.1 Power Dissipation (datasheet pagea6) and
will design it with RDS(ON).
(Question)
(1) About temperature in Figure 4 on datasheet.(RDS(ON) (High-Side + Low-Side))
Is it meaning the junction temperature?
If so, can they use real measured temperature of device package (top side) instead of junction temperature?
Or can they use 1ohm as total estimation RDS(ON)?
(2)Their conditions : motor current =0.4A , Vcc=7V, Vcm=11V, TA=35°C
In case of RDS(ON)(Hihg+Low) estimate to 1ohm,
Power = 0.4A^2 x 1ohm = 0.16W
TJ = TA + (PD × RθJA) = 35°C + (0.16 W × 47°C/W) = 42.5°C
Our understanding is correct?

Hello,
Customer need wide range input and PoE budget 160W. (Include system power ~20W, total around 180W). Now the gating is still at Dual input with reverse polarity solution.
The input range is 24-110V nominal, consider tolerance --> 16.6~137.5V, Do we have dual input, input range is 24-110V nominal, 180W POE solution? Thank you.

Hi Tiers,
I have saw someone has post the question, but no reply until now, and I currently has the same one.
Actually, I have a design that 16 channel leds, and each channel current is different, the current range is 10-50mA. So I want to select two units of TPS61199.
Does TPS61199 allow different channel has different current? if yes, how to dispose it? if not, anyone has better solution could tell me.
Thank you in advance.
Best Regards

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
I used to use CCS 5.2 and now I want to use CCS 5.5 for a new project.
After building, there should be some problems but the Problems Window is empty like below picture.
How can I get the right error messages of my build?
Part Number:UCC28710
Dear all.
I think about the multi-output by flayback.
Our customer made the following transformer.
inductance : 700uH
Turn ratio (24V output) : 2.69:1
Turn ratio (12V output) : 5.38:1
Turn ratio (3.3V output) : 17.5:1
Feedback is 3.3V.
I want to get good cross regulation of 12V and 24V, what kind of method is there?
I am understood that the output voltage changes to some extent because Duty changes.

Part Number:TPS23754
I have been confused with the switching duty cycle control of TPS23754.
For different output load (12V, 0A ~2.5A), the Primary MOSFET almost does not change duty cycle.
A interesting phenomenon is that minus current in primary side.(DCM)
As output load increases, the negative current decrease to zero and then system works in CCM.
Attachment was measured voltage across R15 on PMP9563.(represents Primary side current)
(PMP9563 is Forward topology. For fly back application, I also measured the same result on other boards)
I am curious about
1. Why does the negative current appear at R15?
2. Why does TPS23754 NOT change switching duty cycle while output load changing.

Hello all:
I can run successfully the demo in the mcsdk_video_2_2_0_46\examples\transcode on the EVM6678LE. But when I choose my custom board, the same project goes to sinVctTftp.c and run into
if(ctrl.u.xferStatus==TFTP_FILE_XFER_COMPLETE){
printf("Error receive from server!\n");
if(req==TFTP_WRQ)
abort();
return;
}
print "Error receive from server!" and return.
I use the wireshark to capture the packet. It seems that no packet sent to DSP. I donot know why. I want to know what need to be done to make the demo run successfully on my custom board. Any suggestion will be appreciated!

The TI embedded coder driver for simulink has a significant bug. I reported it to Mathworks but they say the problem is with TI.
In Simulink, If you click on the "Gear" icon and go to hardware implementation-> Device details, the TI drivers say that "doubles" on the TI processors are 64 bits when they are actually 32 bits. It says this for all TI processors. The problem is that certain operations require testing for a maximum machine precision number (for example the sign function and some complex math functions). Simulink thinks that the compiler supports 64 bit numbers (when it actually does not) so it codes this incorrectly with a constant of 4.4E308 which crashes the compiler. If you force the code for that one operation to use single precision, you get the correct constant of 1.7E38. This workaround gets past the problem but it has other issues and requires constant double to single conversions to make successful code from Simulink. Is there a way to change the 64 bit double to 32 bit in the TI driver or do we need an update from TI? Thank you.

Hi all,
My problem only involves gstreamer skills, I hope that someone can write down some tips for me.
I'm writing code to run following pipeline: appsrc -> omx_h264enc -> rtph264pay -> udpsink
My code runs with FPS ~ 8 ms because there are some memcpy to copy data from GstBuffer into omx buffer.
I have 8 buffers for image data. Below is my code to push data from appsrc into encoder
GstBuffer *buffer = gst_buffer_new();
GST_BUFFER_MALLOCDATA(buffer) = frameBuffer[i];
GST_BUFFER_SIZE(buffer) = frameSize;
GST_BUFFER_DATA(buffer) = GST_BUFFER_MALLOCDATA(buffer);
GST_BUFFER_FREE_FUNC(buffer) = customFreeSharedMemory;
GstFlowReturn ret = gst_app_src_push_buffer(appsrc, buffer);
I'm trying to share data between appsrc and omx_h264enc (GstBuffer and omx buffer). OMX uses omxbufferalloc for passing buffer without memcpy into omx component.
omxbufferalloc allocates some OMX_BUFFERHEADERTYPE struct with malloc data from Shared region 2. I can't use omxbufferalloc because frame buffer must be allocated by my app.
In my code, I have to use element appsrc to push frame data into pipeline. I think, with default settings, omx_h264enc will create a new OMX_BUFFERHEADERTYPE struct with OMX_AllocateBuffer and memcpy GstBuffer data into. Therefore, I need to find the way to push GstBuffer which omx only needs to call OMX_UseBuffer with data from GstBuffer.
Could anybody help me for a second ?
Many thanks !

If built-in Flash is affected by radiation, we want to use EMIF to external Flash, where can download example code to reference.

Part Number:OPA4180
Good day. I have an design using OPA4180s as amplifiers so I wanted to use the same part in a different location where I need a unity gain buffer. Power supplies are +3.3V and -12V. The input signal in the case I am discussing is a fixed 2.6V, yet I find the output of some of the buffer stages to be railed at 3.2+ volts. Is there an issue using the OPA4180 as a unity gain buffer as described? I can find no such admonition in the data sheet. If this part is not suited for this application, can anyone recommend an alternative with very low offset voltage? The 2.6V output is a reference voltage to a microprocessor. Thank you very much.
