Part Number:CC2541

Good day dear TI.

I've done with OAD CC2541 through Device Monitor 2.5.0.

When I flashing by OAD I see current Type of firmware (A or B), and type are changing if flash new firmware. But version always 0 and not changing.

I'm write in file oad_target.c :

 #define OAD_IMAGE_VERSION    0x0005

But there aren't any influence.

Second question, is't possible to adapt Device monitor for hight resolution monitors? I've 15.6" and 3840x2160. And Device monitor look like in picture. The Text are too small.

Hello,

Could you please tell me the measurement configuration of OIP 3 of TRF 370417.

In the measurement of OIP 3, are I and Q signals input orthogonally?
Can you tell me the phase relationship when inputting the 2 tone signal to I and Q?

In the datasheet on pg.9 there is the sentence "As a consequence, this might lead to increased line capacitance. This is acceptable because the TUSB211 can compensate for the additional capacitive load."

Part Number:UCC28950

Tool/software:TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hello,

I want to design a DC/DC 3kW SMPS using the UCC28950,

Input voltage: 370Vdc to 420Vdc.

Output voltage: 56V.

Output current: 40A maximum.

I see the steady example, but I want to use the UCC28950 transient model.

Is there an example that uses the transient model or is there the possibility to switch from steady to transient model?

Thank you.

LAUNCHXL-F28069M: Source code documentation (doxygen) for InstaSPIN Labs?

Part Number:LAUNCHXL-F28069M

The source code for the InstaSPIN labs contains in-line doxygen documentation.  I'd like to see a "printed" version.

Another thread in this forum says that the docs should be visible via Motoware.exe, but I can't find the docs in the Resource Explorer.

I see a hierarchy like this:  /InstaSPIN-FOC/Piccolo F2806xF/boostxl-DRV8301_revB/Example Projects/Project Source Code Documentation

but clicking on that results in:  "This page can't be displayed ..."

SN74ALVCH16373: Timing Requirements

Part Number:SN74ALVCH16373

Hello. I have some questions regarding timing parameters for the SN74ALVCH16373. The timing requirements tW, tSU, tH refer to figure 1 in the datasheet.  The input column in the figure table list Tr/Tf as </= 2.5ns. My questions are:

1) Is Tr/Tf measured at 10% to 90%, or is it 20% to 80%?

2) My Hyperlynx slow-weak corner simulations are reporting Tr = 5.35ns and  Tf = 5.56ns on the D inputs. For LE inputs it is Tr = 1.7ns and Tf = 1.34ns.  These measurements are using the 10/90 setting rather than the 20/80 setting in Hyperlynx. Figure 1 in the datasheet indicates tSU, tH, and tW are measured to Vm = 1.5V for the conditions Vcc = 3.3V and Tr/Tf </= 2.5ns. My question is, if Tr/Tf is > 2.5ns, does that mean we cannot use the Vm point for these measurement? Should we instead use the Vil and Vih points to measure the timing margins?

3) If we must use the Vil/ViH points for the D inputs since their Tr/Tf is > 2.5ns, does that mean we also need to use the Vil/Vih points on the LE input, or can we instead still measure to Vm on the LE input since its Tr/Tf is < 2.5ns?

Thanks,

Scott

CC2650: does not turn ON

$

Part Number:CC2650

I am trying the following scenario, after which probably, the SensorTag CC2650 does not turn ON.

1. Our Android App communicates with SensorTag for the sensor values via Bluetooth and sends it to cloud.

2. We are doing some fixes to the Android App and hence, we uninstall it now and then.

3. Suddenly, the SensorTag CC2650 goes off and does not turn ON for hours (no green LED). It comes back after a few hours.

Can you please let me know if the device is faulty? Or is it a known problem with a resolution?

Re: TPS22913C

We're seeing a high rate of these devices being damaged in our circuit - I'm thinking that the output capacitance is causing a high reverse current when the device is turned off.

The on slew rate is 660us but the off slew rate is only 6.6us and the output capacitance is 47uF which could be the issue -

So, will a reverse current of > 2.5Amps, before the reverse current protection circuit cuts in, within the specified 10us, damage the device ?

Part Number:LAUNCHXL-CC2650

hello,

I am following simple academy guide step by step to start write application for cc2650, but Btool or BLE device monitor, none of them can not connect to boards. port setting and other configuration is exactly the same as in the guide. I can connect to project zero by mobile app, but with those PC tool can not. Actually I imported Host_test in cc composer ,it is built without any bugs but still btool does not connect it.

DRV8412: Unknown Fault Condition

$

Part Number:DRV8412

I have a production PCA that I am trying to debug. The IC is not generating its output PWM @ 24V and the fault output signal goes low, which indicates a fault. The load is a small motor. However, when I try a different style motor (smaller and draws less current) the problem goes away.

I don’t think the issue is current limit as the OC-ADJ resistor is set to 62k so ~4.5A. Also from reading the datasheet it appears that the current limit wouldn’t just kill the output in event of a high di/dt, but slow it down. Is this correct?

My BST and GVDD pins are at 12V and don’t dip or anything when the FAULT signal goes from high to low

Thanks

Matt

CC1310: Does anything bad happen if I write to DIO_0 on the CC1310F128RGZ

The DIO_0 pin is not pinned out on the RGZ package.  If my software were to make that an output and write to it, would anything bad happen? (power consumption, etc)

Thank you.

CC2564C: Bluetopia API questions to gather some diagnostic information

$

Part Number:CC2564C

I am working with the  CC2564CRVM network processor and bluetopia stack.

I am trying to get more information on some items to implement in our code to provide the following information

1) Bluetooth Write MAC

2) Bluetooth MAC Check

4) Bluetooth Transmission power level

5) Bluetooth Transmission frequency

6) Bluetooth Receive Sensitive

So far by reading the documentation and going in to the APIs header files that the bluetopia provides, I have found the following

1) Bluetooth Write MAC

               BTPSAPI VS_Set_Bluetooth_Address(unsigned int BluetoothStackID, BD_ADDR_t BD_ADDR);

2) Bluetooth MAC Check

               BTPSAPI GAP_Query_Local_BD_ADDR(unsigned int BluetoothStackID, BD_ADDR_t *BD_ADDR);

4) Bluetooth Transmission power level

               BTPSAPI HCI_Read_Transmit_Power_Level(unsigned int BluetoothStackID, Word_t Connection_Handle, Byte_t Type, Byte_t *StatusResult, Word_t *Connection_HandleResult, SByte_t *Transmit_Power_LevelResult);

5) Bluetooth Transmission frequency

Have not found any APIs related to this

6) Bluetooth Receive Sensitive

Have not found any APIs related to this

I need help on the following questions:

 a) for Items 1 and 2, do I have the correct APIs and if I need anything special to write the MAC address in to the TI chipset network processor

 b) for item 4, do I need to be in a certain state to read the power level?

 c) how can we get items 5 and 6 (what APIs to use?)

Thanks!

TPS61256C: Possible Datasheet Error

Part Number:TPS61256C

Hello all,

On the first page of the datasheet it says Different fixed voltage output versions are available from 3.15V to 5.0V.

But TPS612564C is fixed at 5.4V, so I am assuming that is just a typo.

On page 3, section 5, the table says that the minimum input voltage for the TPS612564C part is 3.3V, however on page 5, section 7.5, under VOUT for the TPS612564C, it says the input voltage can be as low as 2.3V.

Which is correct?
