Part Number: IWR1642

Hi,

I want to pack the product so it is not sensitive to rain and moisture. The product will be out most of the time, I want to know what materials to use for packaging so that the product does not harm and the quality of the transmission and receiver will not be destroyed?

Sincerely,

Oren Golan

BQ25713: 4S4P monitoring

Part Number: BQ25713

Hello!

Does the same concept apply to battery monitors?
If we're selecting a battery monitor, we still count the number of series cells, hence, for 4s4p, we get a monitor that can monitor at least 4 series cells, and not 16?

Thank you

BQ40Z80EVM-020: SMBus communication without the use of an EV2400.

Part Number: BQ40Z80EVM-020

Hello,

I recently bought a BQ40Z80EVM-020 to help with developing a monitor that will use the bq40z80. I would like to test my host controller and its code on the BQ40Z80EVM-020, but I am not having success communicating with it.

The EVM communicates perfectly with the EV2400, so I am curious if I can only communicate with the EVM with the use of an EV2400.

Is there a configuration that allows a for an alternate SMBus host to issue commands to the BQ40Z80EVM-020?

Thank you,
Joe

DRA718: HW leveling issue

Posting on behalf of my customer:

We need to reopen a thread from 2018 about HW leveling using DRA71 (EMIF1) + 2 * memory DDR3 IM4G16D3FABG-125I @ 666 [MHz].
Summarizing, we found an issue when enabling hw leveling. SPL gets stuck after mem alloc. Using SW leveling goes OK, but some boards has memory errors (some bits toggles to 1 and others to 0 randomly) maybe because they are outside operation performance range, that's the reason why we need to try enabling hw leveling.
Read DQS Gate and Read data eye training are failing. This was done calculating HW leveling and then copying SW leveling calculated values to regs corresponding only to Write leveling. Specifically found failed Data Macro 0 and DM3 at Read DQS Gate Training and failed DM1, DM2, and DM3 Read data eye training.
Regs calculated using EMIF tool by HW leveling are:

Hello,

The REF1925 d/s specifices that the REF19xx series has an operating temp of -40C to 125C. Page 4 says the abs max rating can go down to -55C

Could I use this part for -55C design? If not is there a similar part you'd recommend?

Best,

Hi,

Is the corner frequency at -3dB given in the datasheet theorical or measured on the evaluation board?  I'm measuring 220MHz to 222MHz on my custom board instead of 227MHz.  Refer to ADS54J69, page 26, table 1.

WEBENCH® Tools/LM5022: LM5022 maximum output current

Part Number: LM5022

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hello,

I need to use the LM5022 as a step-up to convert 9..16.6V to 34.8V@1.17A or to 34.8V@0.5A.

According to the 8.1's Application Information section, the LM5022 is available to delivery 40V@0.5A from 9..16V.
But the webench confuse myself because it's tittle bar let me think is it possible to have a output of 34.8V@1.17A.

Soo, according to the datasheet and the webench I have drawed this shematic:

My questions are:

  • A output of 34.8V@1.17A or 34.8V@0.5A is possible? How can I calculate maximum current output available?

Thank's for your help.

Hello!

Accuracy Error: Deviation is so high that it is most likely due to anomaly in the data. Please check that

data files have recomended format, units and test schedule.

(Please visit the site to view this file)

I use the BQStudio tool to create the zip file, but since this tool is not in the new studio version,
I use one of the previous ones. When choosing the type of chemistry, I choose LiFePo4,
but as far as I know, LiFePo4 has 3.2 volts of rated voltage, and I use cells of 3.7 volts (4.2 V max),
but there is no such option. Could this be the cause of the error?
And where to get a tool for creating a zip file with the ability to choose my type of chemistry?

LMG1210: LMG1210 with -200V high side

Part Number: LMG1210

Hi-  We're designing a driver for a 0 to -200V application.  Having a bit of trouble envisioning exactly what topology and power supplies are needed.  See sketch attached.  For the "high side" switch, it seems clear.  HS is the negative HV supply, we can use a small floating DC/DC to provide 5V for HB and all is well using an N-MOSFET.

For the "low side" switch the topology is not obvious.  As drawing with an N-MOSFET there is no local ground to connect the driver to.  One could use a P-MOSFET but then LO would need to drive to -5V.

Any suggestions, or a pointer to an example application circuit for 0 to -200V drive?

Thanks,

Eric Hazen

CCS/AM3358: LIDD Mode with High Speed Parallel Mode

Part Number: AM3358

Hi Team,

We are using AM3358 with an LCD display which we would like to use in high speed parallel mode  (not SPI mode). We need to use LIDD graphics mode as opposed to RGB and are using Buildroot as our development platform. Is there any sample device driver source code which is device tree based for this operating mode? Any other relevant collateral or examples would be appreciated.

I like the Execution Graph feature and use it to demonstrate the execution sequence of various threads and objects in TI-RTOS based applications. However, I had an issue that the application HWI function name is sometimes not shown in the Execution Graph. My version information and issues are captured below. Please advise what might be the cause of the issue.

DS90UB954-Q1: DS90UB954-Q1 AEQ

Part Number: DS90UB954-Q1

Hi,

I have a 954 connected over 10m of twisted pair cables to 2 x 953.

With some cables I am having trouble getting the link to achieve pass status.

I have compared cables using the Margin Analysis tab in ALP.

For those cables with which there are no issues the MAP shows a large open eye.

For those cables with which there are some problems the eye is less open but easily meets the 'recommended' eye openings in document SNLA301.

When looking at the information page in ALP I sometimes see that the EQ/SP selections are not even showing as green in the eye diagram - yet the values do not seem to be changing as I would expect if the device were hunting for a valid signal.

Resettting AEQ sometimes helps but does not appear to optimise the operating point.

I understand that the first point selected is the first point where the error rate is below the required threshold rather than the center of the eye.

If the performance deteriorates the eye procedure will cause it to move to the next point.

I have a couple of questions:

1.  The app note /datasheet implies that the equalisation algorithm moves in only one direction for each of EQ/SP.  What happens if the algorithm is reaching the extremity of the eye in these directions - is it able to reverse or is it necessary to restart the AEQ?

2.  If the MAP indicates an eye which meets the recommended requirements of SNLA301 - (3 EQ of 4 SP with two contiguous) would it be expected that the link would achieve pass status?

3.  I am using all the default settings wrt AEQ. This means that all EQ levels and 7->10 SP values can be explored.  This certainly covers the green area highlighted in the MAP results.  Is there anything re default settings that I should change?

Can you please advise if this issue appears to be a configuration issue or potentially a genuine cable issue?

Many thanks

Paul

Hello everyone!

I want to use this sensor as a part of my weather station project, however, I cannot manage it to work.

I am writing the code using CCS, and all the example codes I've managed to find are codes either for arduino or energia. Nothing for CCS.

I want the code to be as simple as possible, just to get the temperature reading which I can use as a variable for other part of the code..

Thank you all

Can someone tell me where I can find the FCC ID for the following chips?:

CC1310 (CC1310F128RSMT)

CC1350 (CC1350F128RSMT)

The FCC is asking me for these IDs as part of their review of our product.  We have used these chips to build custom radios.  We have an FCC ID for the entire product, but I cannot find the FCC ID for the individual RF chips above.
